Strong rumours that BR had fallout with Board over Owen Beck. Contact with Liverpool stalled and Klopp felt disrespected hence why he played him for a few mins in a game that was already in the bag. Probably a lot of mince but story I've seen blames baby L for it.

Was rather strange playing Beck now he's getting loaned back to Dundee after being recalled back ?.

Seems more than a rumour this time. Hopefully Ange decides against it as it seems they want him. If he goes we will be gutted but can we really blame him? I will hold no grudge at all, he will leave with head held high, probably 5 trophies in the bag and a strong squad. And the chance to manage a team with potential to truly compete in CL with a 4 or 5 fold increase in salary might be hard to resist. We are a club like no other though, and big man gets it so u never can tell. ??.

I’m a bit unsure how I feel about this to be honest, on one hand he can go, treble his wages, play in a much better league with possibly the best stadium and training ground in Europe.
On the other after making comments about the press being surprised how long he will be with us, job to do in Europe and only started his project with us, is there much difference between him and Rogers? First opportunity to go when a big club comes in he’s off?

Quinn I think Tottenham are significantly better team long term than Leicester and at the same point we weren't sold by Ange "he was the biggest Celtic fan ever".
In saying that he'll be with technically a regular top 6 team. Probably have in excess of £150 transfer budget a team where there are players that can play his brand of attacking football. The only downside is Tottenham would sack you in minutes and at the same point Levy seems as though he interferes to much. Will Ange want that risk? Again once your in that money league the gems of players he has found who would cost £10 million will be closer to 30-40 his budget will go down quicker than expected.
What ever he chooses as long as he gets that treble I wish him all the best. He's left us in a stronger position and a team that will get stronger than any manager I can recall. I hope he stays.

And who knows if its the first chance to jump. I doubt that and he has not gone mid season when title and cup were still to be won - like BR. Absolutely gutted if/ when he goes but 100% no hard feelings. He came, conquered, bought into the club but unfortunately the draw of playing Man City and Arsenal et Al is more attractive than Ross County and Motherwell, especially on the back of a treble. Can he do much more with us? Not really, possible CL qualification to knock out at a stretch. Is that enough for Ange, doubt it.

Part of the rumours are true . The part that says Ange is leaving, he will leave some time hopefully, not for 3 or 4 seasons .
Most of us will be sad to see Ange go, he will be badly missed . However we have one consolation before Ange we won 51 League Titles 40 Scottish Cup and
20 League Cups . Before and during Ange’s time we have never been as successful, after Ange eventually leaves we will continue to be successful.

The Daily Ranger as we all know always try and put negative spin on anything to do with our football club.
Recently including today. There negative spin re transfer fee for Haksabanovic instead of reporting it's a transfer coup at the fee we paid they report it's a low fee and his value has plummeted.
Nothing to do with Ruban Kazan financial troubles.
I'm over moon that we have signed a £5m / £6m player for the fee we are paying.
Excellent piece of business imo.

I heard there is going to be 1 or 2 more deadline day signings once MJ, Ajeti n Forrest deals are sorted out.
{Ed007's Note - I think anyone expecting Forrest to go anywhere are going to be massively disappointed. Do you think the Club would have given him - or Forrest accepted - a 3-year deal in May (only three months ago) if they were planning on him going out on loan?

Irony in this signing though, I read a good report the other day on how it’s predicted that ange likes to plan well in advance for future player sales, hatate and o’riley brought in on January to offset the departures of rogic and bitton, Jenz for jullien as examples.
Absolutely love jota, like most of us I’ll enjoy him while he’s here and dismiss all notion of the exit talk and rumours but if he carries on the way he’s started this season then it’s likely we will receive an offer the club or player can’t refuse, I can’t help but think haksabanovic is his ready made replacement in waiting when that time comes.
Like I said though, exit talk is for another time and hopefully this group of players can stay for another few seasons at least.

Pretty surprised so many people have an issue with Forrest staying. A one club man who has contributed to every success the club has had in the last 13 odd years. I don't doubt there were times he could have left to chase the money when he was younger and never took that path. Loyalty in football these days is hard to come by and he's been an exemplary professional throughout bi's career, the exact type of player any fan should be happy to have at their club.
And Tim, Turnbull counts towards our 'Association Trained' players but 'Homegrown' refers to academy graduates.

With our wingers all struggling badly should we start with Idah and Kyogo and add an extra man in midfield (Bernardo or Iwata) ? Or give Vata a run as he can't be any worse than Yang or Palma.

Kyogo hasn’t scored a league goal away from home in the last 6 months.
So I would start with Idah on Sunday at Dundee.
But Kyogo has a brilliant scoring record against Hearts and Sevco and both games are at Celtic Park.
I would start Kyogo in those games.
Both players will get game time in all our games if available, whether it’s 60 minutes from the start or 30 minutes off the bench.
Both strikers will have a massive part to play between now and the end of the season.

Buzz the biggest problem with kyogo this season for me is the severe lack of proper service to the wee man. kyogo has more than proven he bang the goals in for us, unfortunately right now we've what 5/ 6 wingers or so called wingers in our books, and the harsh reality is you couldn't make a quality one out the the 5or 6 put together. service to our strikers all season has been abysmal.

I agree Gerry, our main problem areas have been back 4 and wingers.
This is weird as I think some of our layers in these positions are good players. This mens they are either low on confidence or not suited to Brendan's system.
I have also been saying for ages that Kyogo needs a central midfielder who has the vision and technical ability to spot kyogos runs and play him in.

Our Celtic wingers don't take a defender on, they have to cut back and pass the ball, Palma has scored some goals, but him and Kuhn, and Yang, as Garryc1977 has said the service to our stikers this season has not been good, and the corner kicks, and free kicks, has been poor also, playing short corners, Celtic don't seem to have players that will head a ball.

Just watched goals we lost in semi again as lots of folk saying Hart could have come for 2nd and 3rd. If he was positioned better he could have but was way to close to front post and moving back across goal made it impossible. Had been in middle or more towards back post maybe but no chance from his staring position. Whether he was positioned right or wrong who knows but we must surely work on this stuff but lose way too many similar goals. Hart, AJ, CCV, Scales, Taylor and none of them command the box in the air. Therein lies the problem.

Our problems on Saturday in my opinion came from the quality of cross Aberdeen were allowed to get in . This problem has happened in many other games . On Saturday AJ was either too tired at the end of match, or he was afraid to get too close to their attacking winger to stop cross . Again, imo I think AJ knew he was on yellow card and was afraid of getting too close and receiving 2nd yellow or a penalty . Just look at AJ going out half heartedly before 3rd and at half pace towards man on ball and then turning his back and allowing the sheep all the time in world to pick cross . This is certainly not like AJ, but who would want to meet team mates having conceded pen or red card.
Ralston could be substituted, but he likes to put in a tackle and maybe BR is afraid to use him .
I think the best way Celtic can see out games is by ball retention and when we do lose ball make sure they don’t get ball within 30/ 40 yds of our goals .
Our defence rightly panics when opponents gain procession within 30 yds of our goal, it isn’t just the likelihood of ref awarding free / pen to opponents, but the fear our defenders have of getting close attempting tackle and then the consequences.

I think Cal Mac isn’t helping out full backs as well as he should . i think he may have been better before his injury .
S Brown was very good at making sure full back wasn’t isolated and Brown worked very hard to stop crosses . Taylor isn’t the first wee left back to leave his position unmanned but we prevented opponents from getting time and position to get top crosses in.

Our wingers are truly appalling, all of them. Forrest is miles past his best but still way better than any of the other jokers. I'd play Kyogo out wide and Idah through the middle (although he was mince today) next week. Yang shouldn't even make the bench. We fielded 16 players and honestly wouldn't give many pass marks, maybe Hart and Forrest. Utterly wasteful and the attempted pass by Palma that led to their 3rd goal was typical of his performance, lack lustre and lethargic. Scales and CCV are culpable again with cross balls, too many times. Narowcki and Lagerbeilke must be really bad in training.

It's quite alarming that we've quickly slid from Jota, Abada, Maeda and Forrest to the current choices, although JF still has a bit-part to play; and that doesn't include MJ and Haksabanovic who are also on the books, but may not have a future at Celtic.
Unfortunately it's not just the wings where we need to invest in real quality all because previous recruitment was well below standards.

Turgid, haven't turned up so far. Anyone who thinks Khun or Yang are better than Forrest or MJ is watching different game to me. Yang is utterly dire, not one single productive moment and constantly losing the ball. Hatate and MOR have been anonymous. Must do better.

With Maeda out of the Derby I'd be inclined to play Forrest. He still has more pace than most and whilst not great last time he started against them I think he can still do a shift and isn't scared to track back. I'm not concerned at all at losing Maeda as we have a very strong midfield and whoever plays out wide will only be up against a pair of donkeys!

There defence has never been able to handle the big strong forward type like GG or Idah

Everyone has their own likes, but I hate like he’ll discussing a match that is somewhat down the line when we have a cup match that has some importance and 2 league matches both of them vital importance. Our record against the Sevco this season compares well in comparison with many other SPL teams, surely we shouldn’t be putting that game on a higher pedestal than others . We can win all the games we have left, or we can draw / lose against any of the teams left.
