It's been agreed to have a 5% ticket allocation for next season's Glasgow Derby's.

Hatate training today, hopefully on the bench on Saturday, he'll be like a new signing ?.

The Poet

1.) 15 Mar 2024 18:08:34
IF he stays fit ?

☘️ ? ☘️.

2.) 15 Mar 2024 19:02:47
Top player… maybe the best in Scotland. Fitness a big challenge for him. He can’t get a decent run of games and when he is playing…. dead on his feet around 60 minutes. I make it his 4th long spell out injured in two seasons. When you add in his absence for internationals… something will need to improve if we want to keep him.

Some players don’t have fitness or energy…. usually gifted ones. Unfortunately he seems to be in this category.

{Ed007's Note - Hatate was 24 when we signed him and he hadn't even played 70 professional games - has the intensity of the training & the Scottish game played a part in his injury problems?}

3.) 15 Mar 2024 20:27:49
Maybe…. My son mentioned he has played an unusually low amount of games for his age as well.

Might be his fitness that has cost him. With education and military requirements in Japan they are around 20 before they can start playing for real.

Let’s Hope he hits the deck running and plays every game from next week onwards till seasons end. He could make the difference for us….

{Ed007's Note - Having CCV, Hatate and hopefully a refreshed CalMac available for the run could be crucial in securing the league and possibly the Scottish Cup as well for us. With those 3 available I'm even more confident that the league flag will stay where it has been for the majority of most of our lives ?

4.) 15 Mar 2024 20:38:59
I like it Ed ?

☘️ ? ☘️.

{Ed007's Note - ?

We are getting 23,000 tickets for semi final, Aberdeen 19,000.

The Poet

1.) 14 Mar 2024 15:58:54
I’m not expecting Aberdeen to sell 19,500 tickets.

Although Aberdeen are complaining about not getting a 50/ 50 split, I reckon they will be forced to hand tickets back for Celtic fans.
The lunchtime kickoff time in Glasgow isn’t ideal for the Dons fans.

The SFA will make sure the Aberdeen tickets are sold in order, to prevent what Hibs done a few years ago in a league cup Semi final clash against Celtic.

Hibs left the middle sections unsold to prevent Celtic from getting more tickets.

Semi Final v Aberdeen Saturday April 20
12:30 KO.

The Poet

1.) 14 Mar 2024 14:51:29
Celtic have now reached the Scottish Cup Semi Final in 13 out of the last 15 seasons.

The 2 exceptions was losing at Celtic Park to Aberdeen in 2014 and behind closed doors at Ibrox in 2021.

It will be good to play on the Hampden turf first for a change.
Although the last time Celtic played a Saturday Scottish Cup Semi Final, we lost to Ross County 2-0 in 2010 under interim manager Neil Lennon.

Since then Celtic have played on the Sunday in 11 consecutive Scottish Cup Semi Finals until this year.

2011,2012,2013,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2022 and 2023.

Bernabei off to SC Internationale.

The Poet

1.) 06 Mar 2024 13:00:45
Thank the good lord.

2.) 06 Mar 2024 14:18:28
Bernabei was never good enough.
I just hope Taylor stays fit until the rest of the season.

I can only see it being an obligation to buy, after his loan deal because why else would Celtic allow our only proper backup to Taylor, leave with only 9 league games to go.

3.) 06 Mar 2024 15:00:33
Because he is rubbish Buzz! Rather play with no LB than have him come on!

4.) 06 Mar 2024 15:26:47
Ad rather have Tony at lb than berni. there's no way tont gets out jumped against killie 2 points shipoed.

5.) 06 Mar 2024 17:33:00
On the same thought pattern Buzz, why would we sign a young promising striker on loan and not include an option to buy?

Don Robertson is ref for Sunday game, back to back games
Rangers who never complain about refs ever,
haven't had Wullie Colum referee any of their last 11 games, nothing to see here.

The Poet

1.) 26 Mar 2024 11:42:45
It's a fecking joke they complain and are basically picking their refs. after hearts you'd think maybe they'd send him somewhere else . oh wait there's a league up for grabs.

2.) 26 Mar 2024 12:21:20
They have had 2 witch hunts against WC and done it against Clancy nothing done by the SFA. They are sleekit rats who come out with a rangers spokesman said then get their pet poodles in the media and ex players to all pile on. It will be fun and games on Thursday as the SFA think we are going to be like the past and just roll over be "surprised and disappointed" Beaton wasn't even on the SFA billing for Tynecastle on the Sunday. Mabe he was gutted at Motherwell winning on the Saturday against his team and phoned up for a Sunday shift.

3.) 26 Mar 2024 12:30:52
Willie 1st time around was 26 league games before he received the last match of the season in 2019.

Clancy was 16 league games before he was allowed the last match of the 2022 season.

Collum 2nd time around is currently 12 league matches and counting because he never received the Dundee postponed match.
That’s both referee and VAR appointments.

Scottish football and Sevco fans are hiding behind Willie Collum receiving a Scottish Cup home tie against Ayr Utd.

That won’t work with Celtic fans. ?.

CCV back training, fit for St Johnstone
The Glasgow Derby, Celtic Ghirls v Rangers Women, BBC Alba on Sunday 17th.

The Poet

1.) 13 Mar 2024 14:24:05
I don’t think CCV is in the USA squad for next week which is another bonus.

2.) 13 Mar 2024 17:41:49
Surely he's not playing for celtic girls as well?

£2 million for Turnbull, £1 m for Ideguici,
Spend £3 m on Khun
0 m spend
The business is going like a dream.

The Poet

{Ed007's Note - So getting £1m for a flop like Gucci and £2m for Turnbull with 6 months left on his deal is something to attack the board over, really? Should we have told Cardiff we only wanted £500k for Turnbull so the fans couldn't compare or moan about how much we've spent?
Or we could offset that against the money we lost on Barkas etc, or is that too business like for you?}

1.) 31 Jan 2024 22:07:48
Lol ed007.

{Ed007's Note - ????

2.) 31 Jan 2024 22:18:00
I’m not attacking the board, they are all very good businessmen and know how to run a business, keeping costs down and profit high, just some of their customers are not best pleased at the moment.

{Ed007's Note - Some of the customers are never pleased - and never will be.}

3.) 01 Feb 2024 05:30:26
I think this may be the worse discontent I’ve ever seen regarding a transfer window,

16 Dec 2023 17:28:02
The cunning plan has worked, the board didn't want him, as soon as he asks for money to spend on quality, sack him, Lennon, anyone like to join me in the shower.

When the same players who won a treble are saying we trained well this week, it takes a while to get used to a new managers way, I’m sure we’ll get better, our performances haven’t been good enough.
And their right in what they say, but where has their form and confidence all of a sudden disappeared, it’s certainly been a very strange and flat start to our season.
