When I saw the reputed £9.5M, I thought that Stevie Wonder had scouted him.
That is about a fair price for him, just to get our money back.
I have never been impressed by him. CCV made him just about bareable and this is backed up by how he performed on CcV's absence.
He's a player that won't be missed and that says it all.

BigJan, that is a ridiculous take. He’s been great for us, delivered 5 trophies. I’m sorry but a Cb pairing isn’t all but one CB. Without that continuity between the two of them there is no Defense. A horrible take on his quality.

He's been an OK signing for me. Not bad but not great either. We will need better partner to ccv to progress in europe. Somewhere around 8m would be fair price for me. I'd love to see us go for the lad Harwood bellis from city. Looks quality. $15m price tag but if we want to progress in europe now that's likely the fees we need to pay.

The fee will tell us everything we need to know, if he's been that good we will get 10 mil for him, but I suspect we will just about recover the fee we paid for him and that's good enough. It's plain to see he's horribly nervous on the ball and that's not ideal with the way we try to play.

Starfelt was an excellent defender but was asked to be a ball playing defender on the wrong side of the pitch.
If you look at his defensive stats he is number 1 in the league for many key stats.
I personally think he will be missed but at least Nawrocki looks good.

It's what we paid for him in terms of transfer fee but it doesn't capture the circa £2M wages we've paid him over the past 2 years. I'd be looking for about £6/ 7M to be honest. He's an international player with at least 4 or 5 good years still in him.

Didn’t think so.
We bought Rocky for the same price and that will prove to be great business. Starfelt wasn’t because he makes too many unforced errors and plenty forced ones. CCV carried him and as was mentioned above, his stats without Cameron tell the story. Good luck to him, gave his all, but for me his all was short of what we need. And certainly short for asking for £8m.

It’s been a downward spiral for decades.
Celtic had tickets for the
Main Stand and Enclosure, Govan Stand and the whole Broomloan Stand in the 1980s
For a few years it was only the Enclosure and the Broomloan Stand and it allowed the Rangers fans to spit and throw objects on top of the Celtic fans below.
The Celtic fans were left with only the Broomloan Stand from about 1989 or 1990. ( I think )

Idah might have not been the signing we all wanted. But he looks to have given us a different dimension and possibly free up a bit of space up front. The CH now has a unit to contend with.

I was watching how deep Kyogo was playing today thinking Brendan ff$ you need to find a way of playing the wee man to his strengths and getting him service.
Rodgers has taken a prolific striker and our top scorer for two seasons under the previous manager playing off the shoulder of the last defender and rendered him totally ineffective when his job is to get the best out of players individually and consequently the team as a whole.
I’ve been at every home game and the football has been absolutely dire and a hard watch particularly compared to the football we’d been watching under the previous manager at its best if not at latter stages.
The window to improve what Rodgers has at his disposal has gone and I don’t see how what we’re watching is going to change anything soon.

I'd say Rangers win this match in midfield today. We're very light weight in there today. Although I'd say apart from their midfield they aren't great.

I never got the impression it was a 442. Rodgers is still favouring the 4231.
But just think with the big fellow up top it gives the defence another problem and with Kyogo buzzing about just in behind they don't know where he's going to pop up.
My 1 gripe is wingers playing and having to check back onto there stronger foot I don't get it. Defenders know Palma isn't going to go by them on the outside so are happy to push him down the line.

Rodgers isn't the only one that thinks Maeda is a quality player. So did Ange and the Japan national coach also thinks so. But I dare say with all your years coaching at the top level in football you know a quality player when you see one.

Bhoy88, granted there's never a lot of buisness getting done on this window by most teams. But when your teams crying out for a LB and a centre forward at least and you sign a winger and a 3rd choice centre forward. I'm sorry but the window could be put to better use.
So yes to be expected.
A lot of fans might not agree and maybe a bit old. But Van Veen was avaliable, proven he can score goals at Motherwell. Probably would have been a better punt than Norwich reserve player.
