There's a rumour linking Red Bull to Celtic.
How would the supporters feel about this if it was true?

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 13 Oct 2021 19:45:37
As a sponsor or takeover?

2.) 13 Oct 2021 19:54:55
Buzz I'd be very open to any potential investor if it means they have a progressive and sustainable plan for our club. The current board don't seem to have the same sense of ambition that the fans would like. Having said that, some fans still think we should still be competing for the Champions League trophy every season so there has to be a great deal of realism from all parties. HH.

3.) 13 Oct 2021 19:57:20
Red Bull seem to do well at helping clubs to grow. But some things are sentimental and worth more. 'Red Bull Celtic' playing in the white and red - not for me.

4.) 13 Oct 2021 20:33:03
I’d welcome it if we kept our colours.

They’d sort us right out.

5.) 13 Oct 2021 20:33:51
I don’t know much details Patrick but I would guess a takeover.

{Ed007's Note - Is it not to replace Dafabet, Buzz?}

6.) 13 Oct 2021 20:50:47
I didn’t know it was only a sponsor Ed.
I wouldn’t want Celtic not playing in green and white hoops.
Cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not 100% but they were mentioned as potential replacements for Dafabet when there was talk of banning advertising of gambling companies.}

7.) 13 Oct 2021 21:01:29
As a sponsor I wouldn't mind it on the shirt but would hate the badge with red bulls or wings on it although the rewards would be good.

{Ed007's Note - The support would never accept that and I don't think EVEN our board would try that Patrick.}

8.) 13 Oct 2021 22:12:59
History can't be replaced with money ?.

9.) 13 Oct 2021 23:23:24
Emmmm yes it can just look over the river to sevco, oops sorry I mean The Rangers International Football Club.

10.) 14 Oct 2021 00:48:55
I would be happy with them as long as we kept our home strip and badge.
We could always have a Red and White away strip.

11.) 14 Oct 2021 11:23:16
I wouldn't mind a take over really red bull are ambitious they wouldn't dither on playing staff not go into a coma about the position the club is at and just be satisfied with what they have so yeah I would be for it. IF IT'S RED BULL not just anyone.

12.) 14 Oct 2021 14:26:34
Money talks, just leave the fabric of the club alone, why not the so called big clubs are backed by money why mot us.

13.) 14 Oct 2021 15:29:31
I'd be quite happy if they replaced Dafabet tbh, it would give us a chance to build a good working relationship with the brand without selling our soul. I wouldn't be in favour if we were just going to be a feeder team for Leipzig with a squad full of loans etc.

14.) 16 Oct 2021 19:28:51
I’d like us to not be linked with a gambling firm. Money is king and the betting shops are all over loads of clubs but it doesn’t sit right with me. Never have a sponsor on my top if I can avoid it but especially the gambling firms. It’s money from misery.

Ajeti has received a surprise recall to the Switzerland Squad for games against N. Ireland and Lithuania.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 02 Oct 2021 00:27:42
They must be desperate. What a donkey he is.

2.) 02 Oct 2021 09:04:46
The Blackpool donkeys do a fine job unlike ajeti.

3.) 02 Oct 2021 12:23:48
Switzerland have also recalled Itten.

4.) 02 Oct 2021 16:02:15
I don't think he is a donkey, I think he is a poacher who needs someone upfront beside him. Better suited to 4-4-2 or 3-5-2.

Defo not a complete striker.

5.) 02 Oct 2021 20:03:43
Sorry Dnn he's showed about as much as the likes of Bayo and all the other donkey strikers we've wasted money on in recent recent years. The fact that he is an International just makes him more of a flop. Imagine taking him over Toney.

6.) 03 Oct 2021 01:02:53
Bigbubs Toney saga was gross misconduct. He was desperate to sign for us.

7.) 07 Oct 2021 08:56:36
He is a penalty box striker but has terrible link out and work ethic.
If you are needing a goal I would use him as part of a 2 man strike force but useless on his own.

Celtic V St. Johnstone League Cup Semi Final will be played on Saturday Night
November 20th @ 5.15 pm kickoff time.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 29 Sep 2021 16:20:43
Buzz usually the teams drawn first play first, not this time perhaps with Celtic having much more international players away, the powers that be are hoping we have less time to recover and it gives their "favourite" team an extra day to recover their TWO international players.
"Sceltical, mistrusting" THIS Tim
Yes I AM.

21 Sep 2021 14:52:37
Celtic have appointed Anton McElhone as our new Head Of Sports Science.
He was previously at Spurs as their fitness coach.
Anton as also worked at Queens Park, Morton, Hibs and Bradford.
Kevin Clancy will be the referee on Sunday against Dundee United.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 21 Sep 2021 15:52:37
I thought you were going to say Kevin Clancy was going to be our new referee coach Buzz ??.

2.) 21 Sep 2021 18:00:33
the coaching for refs happen down at the ludges tony.

3.) 21 Sep 2021 18:44:47
Yes indeed bruther.

16 Sep 2021 20:46:26
Celtic have currently scored in 10 European Away games in a row.
Maybe for the first time, depending on how you want to look at it.
Under Martin O'Neill we also scored in 10 European games in a row away from Celtic Park but that included the 2003 Final in Seville, which was on neutral ground.
Also since Brendan Rodgers has left Celtic, we have scored in 16 out of our last 17 away games in Europe.
The only exception was away to Cluj, when Celtic played a reserve side because we had already won the group.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 16 Sep 2021 21:33:34
Interesting Buzz but we always seem to concede more than we score. It's little consolation in the grand scheme of things. HH.

2.) 17 Sep 2021 08:33:32
There's no doubt we can score against almost anyone with the way we play and the talent we have; unfortunately most teams find it easy to score against us and many of the goals are very avoidable.
The attacking play is fantastic to watch, but at present we are relying on outscoring rather than defending a lead or closing down.

3.) 17 Sep 2021 09:06:30
For me its inevitable we will concede goals the way we play but for me its more the personnel in certain positions that's all wrong we haven't got a solid holding midfielder and starfelt certainly hasn't showed me anything to be confident in him so far. but going forward we were scary at times the first half hour we blew them away.

4.) 17 Sep 2021 09:28:38
Celtic have managed to score the First goal in every one of our last 10 Away fixtures in Europe but we’ve only recorded 3 victories,2 draws and 5 defeats.
When Celtic first achieved scoring in 10 European Away games in a row under Martin O’Neill, we scored the first goal on 8 occasions. The only exceptions were away to Celta Vigo and against Porto in Seville.
Back in 2002 and 2003,Celtic managed 6 victories and 4 defeats.

5.) 17 Sep 2021 11:22:02
I don't remember too many away victories in the champions league under Martin either and we had sone beasts in our team then.

6.) 18 Sep 2021 17:51:58
Scoring is brilliant, but that defence will always let us down. The best sway performance i've deen in years undone by a series of utter ballsups and we lose. Will we ever have a defence fit for purpose? i've never in my entire life saw us have a top eefence. Alwats a bombscare or two in among some brilliant players. Thursdsy was a tale of two teams. One brilliant the other a liability.

Bobby 27 Fouls Madden will be our referee on Saturday at home to Livingston.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 26 Oct 2021 13:00:18
The North Stand linesman against Livingston this Saturday, is the same referee assistant that couldn’t see the new Sevco striker was offside from One yard out against Motherwell.
That honest mistake helped gain them an extra point.

2.) 26 Oct 2021 13:16:17
The same selection seem to come round the old 'culprit carousel' far too frequently. It's as if they are deliberately delegated ha ha ha.

25 Oct 2021 10:20:14
This will be our 3rd visit to Easter Road since the new Sky deal started last season and None of the games have been selected for live TV.
The maximum Live home matches each club are allowed is 5 games each season.
None of our Easter Road visits were shown last season, which was a strange decision considering Hearts weren't in the league.
Currently only 3 clubs haven't had a home live match this season and they are Celtic, Ross County and Hibs.
Hibs won't have their first live home match of the season until Sevco visit on December 1st.
Since the new Sly deal started last season, Sevco have had 7 live home league games compared to only 3 from Celtic Park since last August.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 25 Oct 2021 15:05:59
Buzz am I right in saying that before this season (and no including last season) almost all our away games were on television? Can't believe the game on Wednesday isn't. Especially as we've not won there in so long.

2.) 25 Oct 2021 15:17:34
Sly have always panderd to their pet club. I ditched them a few years ago and got iptv and a vpn. It costs Celtic supporters more and more £££ every season with Sly showing less of our games. Fans have to pay for season tickets, Sly, Premier sports, numerous away games ppv and BT. BT provided a far superior package with their coverage analysis pundits and far more airtime was given to the Scottish game. Slys coverage of Scottish Football is amateurish and embarrassing. i've seen many of their reports showing them not having any knowledge of what's happening. Wrong score lines wrong teams wrong facts. The majority of pundits that cover Scottish games are beyond parody. You sit and cringe at their commentary and opinions wondering how the feck they actually get paid for it.

3.) 25 Oct 2021 15:20:46
Your right Henriks Tongue.
When BT and Sly shared the contract there was competition to get the most views and that included showing all of our away games.
But since the new Sly contract started last August, they have favoured the new club over Celtic.

4.) 25 Oct 2021 16:23:39
The amount of ex rangers players on sky is beyond a joke. Apart from fkb, McCoist, we now have KennyMiller, Chris Burke and Defoe. The BBC are no better.

5.) 25 Oct 2021 16:57:34
I wouldn't give sky the steam off my jobby. They'll be the death of football as we know it. Iv been "borrowing" TV for years and won't go back. Gutted Celtic TV is so all over the gaff as it's the only sub I have and would happily again pay for.

6.) 26 Oct 2021 02:31:09
Is defoe not still under contract at sevco.

24 Oct 2021 21:40:56
I'm proud of how the Celtic Supporters have responded to losing 10 in a row last season.
The Celtic supporters have once again sold out our season tickets and the demand is so high, that our club has sold out the Real Betis match 6 weeks in advance.
Celtic are financially stable and we have £20 million in the bank and not many clubs can say that after the last couple of years.
So much for the "pack of cards" quote from Dave King.
Dave King's company in South Africa had an operating profit of £14 million in 2019 and now in 2021 his company had a operating Loss of £5.6 million.
Maybe that's the "pack of cards" the Lying King is referring too.
Those distressing figures will ensure that King will be demanding the £5 million owed to him by Sevco, is repaid by the deadline date of October 31st 2021. ( exactly 9 years from the official date Rangers FC entered a Liquidation process )
Stewart Robertson has told selected fans that Sevco will be in profit next year.
I'm certain he's using the Champions League money in his latest comment because there's no way they will be operating in profit if Sevco fail to win the league this season.
Robertson is trying to put a little light at the end of a very dark tunnel before he drops the figures from their Annual Unaudited Accounts, which will become public on a Friday Night in the near future.

Seasons like last only weed out the glory hunters. We have dominated Scottish football for the last 20yrs anyone under 20 doesn't get what came before.

2.) 24 Oct 2021 22:50:19
So if you dare to show distain towards the board, manager and players who made a cluster f of one of the most important seasons in our history you are a glory hunter?

Buzz even more important we win the league this year. Champions League money would be a game changer for Sevco.

3.) 25 Oct 2021 00:01:39
That 10th title on top of the quadruple treble would have ruined them, I am p. ed off we lost so easily.

4.) 25 Oct 2021 01:11:32
Throw in millions for Ashley's lawsuit. Will that 5 million for King go towards Ashley's pay day? Not a chance of it?So will it be the company that owe King and Ashley or the club?

24 Oct 2021 14:45:34
Joe Hart hasn't had a save to make in our last 2 league games.
It's the first time in little over a year since our opponents haven't had a single shot on target in back to back league matches.
It last happened last September weekend in a 3-0 victory against Hibs and then a 2-0 win away to St. Johnstone.
And then came the International break.
Followed by the C.V. match against our rivals and it was downhill for the rest of the season.
It's a good sign that our defence and the Celtic team overall, are getting back to where we were before C.V.
Last season was shocking but I will always be grateful that Celtic still won a Quadruple Treble.

Buzz Bomb 10

23 Oct 2021 17:53:50
St. Johnstone wasted the game as a spectacle but we're going to get games like that and Celtic dealt with the circumstances well.
I'm sorry for repeating myself about the fouls but Ange must've had a word with his players after the Aberdeen game because our players have stopped being erratic.
Today Celtic had a season best of only committing 6 fouls in the whole game and it definitely helped with the flow of the match.
St. Johnstone are still dangerous opponents because they're well organised and Celtic will need to play well at Hampden to reach the Final.

Buzz Bomb 10

1.) 23 Oct 2021 19:05:12
Not great but it was all about the points job done pressure on sevco ?.

2.) 23 Oct 2021 19:18:48
I think we are now giving the honest mistake merchants less opportunity to penalize us with persistent stoppages and award soft fouls, but I'm sure it will happen again -especially away from home. Unfortunately, open-season on kicking Celtic players without due reprimand or punishment is another matter and unless Celtic call them out, it will see the injury list appearing again.

3.) 23 Oct 2021 20:50:04
You are correct OAB unless Celtic FC come out with a statement about the terrible refereeing decisions IN ALL GAMES nothing will get done Does anyone think Sevco would let all this go? I don't think so.

4.) 23 Oct 2021 22:00:31
The problem wasn't St Johnstone wasting the game as a spectacle, the problem was, well, at least in my eyes, was that there was no one able to make the sort of pass, or exchange of passes to open up their defence, so we just kept passing the ball from one side of their box to the other then back a bit, one side to the other, before eventually getting it back to Hart, I mean the possession, and passes made, figures will look great, but what's the point
, there was one occasion, you could see Kyogo was wanting the ball played in, to run onto, but instead, the ball was played into the midfield, and over to the other wing.

5.) 24 Oct 2021 12:02:04
100% OAB2, this has been going on for years and years.

All roads lead back to the Lanarkshire Referee's Assoc - call this out for what it is!

Rayman,
I read that Maeda has had 9 of the 10 most sprints in a game in the J1 this season.
The only other player to get into the top 10 was Kyogo.
Maeda must run about all day, a big difference to watching Ajeti.

The last league game in the Japanese league is on December 4th and that’s good news for Ange and Celtic.
Any players from the J1 league that Celtic sign will get 4 weeks rest and then they can train with their new team mates before playing their first league match for Celtic at Tynecastle on January 26th.
It’s perfect for the second half of the season.

Aye he looks the part Pedro.
If Maeda signs in January, Ange would need to consider playing a 3-5-2 formation with the players he would have available at our disposal.
Jullien or Welsh would be available to make up a back 3 and also extra cover for possible injuries.
A new left wing back and we would have a vey good team.
We’ve seen before C. V, how we blew everyone away when Celtic played this system.
It’s been mentioned that Ange has previously played 2 up front but I’m not sure in which formation.
It would be great for Ange to have a squad were he can rotate and have different options.

Maeda’s burst of speed is frightening, he’s like a wee Duracell bunny.
He’s a good all rounder.
Maeda has scored 18 goals this season,7 with his right foot,6 with his left and 5 headers.
He current contract expires on January 31st 2024.
