Supposedly made an approach for James Lea Siliki as a replacement for Ntcham.

1.) 10 Jul 2019 13:47:28
hope so he's got mad silky skills.

2.) 10 Jul 2019 14:23:26
They knocked back Porto so that'll be that.

3.) 10 Jul 2019 16:03:01
We've got cash to spend Mally. If you think what we would get for Ntcham it'll go some way towards his fee.

4.) 10 Jul 2019 16:12:15
Would be a real statement of intent if we do get him but just can't see it happening.

5.) 10 Jul 2019 16:43:32
Jim a hope your right mate but it sounds a non starter.

6.) 10 Jul 2019 18:37:17
Tommy Smith on his way to sign, has said goodbye to his team mates according to Twitter rumours.

7.) 10 Jul 2019 18:53:49
1.5 million.

8.) 10 Jul 2019 18:59:32
Sorry 2.5 million,3 year.

9.) 10 Jul 2019 21:12:56
Is tommy smith a good signing lads. I don't know to much about him seems to be decent from way fellow posters are sounding.

17 Jun 2019 13:15:57
Lustig looks set for a move to Gent. I wish him all the best. A good servant and somebody who clearly took the club to his heart.

1.) 17 Jun 2019 16:12:57
I think he'll leave with everyones best wishes, great servant and a very likable guy. Thanks for the memories pc lustig. πŸ€.

2.) 17 Jun 2019 17:10:54
Great servant good luck old bhoy.

22 May 2018 05:53:57
According to a couple of papers we have 9 days to come up with 10m for Edouard. Interesting.

1.) 22 May 2018 07:05:53
Papers jim it'll b a lot less than that ad Imagine.

2.) 22 May 2018 07:20:37
Rodgers confirmed himself That it was way less than the original 9 million quotes by the papers so that just tells you.

3.) 22 May 2018 08:53:09
Few reports saying it's around 5 million then add ons and sell on fee that could take it a lot higher.

4.) 22 May 2018 09:14:57
That sounds more like a ransom than a transfer lol.
We already agreed a deal for Β£7m so we can get him for that, no way we will even pay that much tbh.

5.) 22 May 2018 09:34:52
Sevco hacks stirring rubbish that isn’t there. Boy are they hurting.

Rogers stated the figure is nowhere near what was floated, by the same Sevco hacks.

We are trying to sign him and I think we will. Another Hunskelper signing is their worst nightmare.

Sweet Dreams.

6.) 22 May 2018 09:45:52
Mally/ Ken, I thought Rodgers just said that it wasn't 7m?

7.) 22 May 2018 10:04:50
It's not 7 million the gaffer came out and told the press that weeks ago.

8.) 22 May 2018 10:54:55
Even if it is, we will treble that when he moves on in a couple of years. That’s killing them too. :)

9.) 22 May 2018 11:00:21
O was wondering about this 10 million Brendan has came out and told us it's less than the 7 million first quoted so could the 10 mill include his wages and bonuses for in thinking 5 yr contract hh.

10.) 22 May 2018 11:37:40
Jim a thought he ment lower than 7 mate maybe nearer the 5 mill mark.

11.) 22 May 2018 12:06:30
Β£5m would be a steal. We know what we are getting, it ain't no gamble he is worth every penny. I also think having Edouard and Ntcham at the club is very good for Dembele.

12.) 22 May 2018 12:08:52
I’m thinking he will be round about the same price as Ntcham, similar contract aswell.

13.) 22 May 2018 13:52:01
Obviously the lower the better Mally. Getting into 8 figures suddenly makes a deal seem more of a risk. For arguments sake, if Dembele was to be sold for 20-30m, then I'd be ok spending 10m on Edouard. But ideally I'd like Dembele and Edouard.

14.) 22 May 2018 14:02:54
It's going to be a bit of a quiet week with a lot of players on holiday so it's big news for the them. If eddy gets over the line added to the renewals it's a good start. I don't think psg will be looking to extend a loan deal with the exposure he has had with us as it has alerted a few clubs who will pay more than our 5m+ add-ons.

15.) 22 May 2018 23:12:42
must be true if its in the Hun loving press.

16.) 23 May 2018 12:41:44
4m i heard.

Reports suggesting Paddy Roberts sees us as his preferred option on the table. With his rep meeting with Citeh (I'd guess he isn't part of their plans this season) get something done Celtic! I'd even take another loan if that was to be it, his position was the no.1 target for me this window and I'd rather have him for a year than not at all. A permanent deal would be great however we'd want the buy-back clause to be worth several million profit, just to make sure we don't end up losing anything spent more than anything.

1.) 08 Aug 2017 12:06:30
I'd hope they'd make him a Celtic player properly now; If a loan, surely we want the right to buy.

Presumably, Roberts thinks he might make the grade at City in time, and I think we can all respect that.

2.) 08 Aug 2017 14:40:20
Hi ED, have you heard anything about this? thanks in advance.

{Ed007's Note - City want a permanent deal and it looks as if Paddy's only wanting a loan deal.}

3.) 08 Aug 2017 15:21:17
Oh fur **** sake paddy bhoy. get your self back up here.

4.) 08 Aug 2017 17:00:43
rumours are he is scared of all the mad ferrets in manchester.

So the new Adidas away kit has been 'leaked'. Doesn't look much better an image than some of the concept kits so I have my doubts but it's a cracker if real. Really smart.

1.) 09 Mar 2020 18:37:29
Got a link? Must admit really looking forward to the new kits if it is Adidas.

2.) 09 Mar 2020 19:11:35
That leaked kit looks amazing. Surely can't be ours. Would be our best kit to date if true.

3.) 10 Mar 2020 05:55:04
Aye it's not real πŸ˜‚.

4.) 10 Mar 2020 07:54:52
It's just a mock up top.

Just reading some comments from John Kennedy there in The Sunday Post. It would seem that Lenny is taking more of the approach that Martin O'Neill did. Overseeing things, but not quite as heavily involved through the week - leaving the bulk of the coaching to JK and DD. But coming alive on a match day. I have to say, one of the things I had against Lenny as our manager/ head coach is that he doesn't have a great record of developing players. That said, it takes a big decision from a manager to take a step back like that and it seems to be paying off. Well done him.

1.) 23 Feb 2020 13:19:05
It's a good system imo the players would be sick hearing your voice and face if your doing everything. if it ain't broke and all that.

2.) 23 Feb 2020 14:29:07
Lennon is proving to be the right choice with each passing dayπŸ‘.

20 Feb 2020 19:58:05
A bit frustrated with that as I think it's a wee bit of a missed opportunity. A bit more clinical and better decision making in the final third next time please. A bit less sloppy in our own half as well by the way. Star man was probably Jullien for me, he seemed to win most things thrown at him. Telling. On a plus note that's an alright score to be taking from an away game and I'm comfident that if we play a little bit sharper we can win this tie at Paradise.

1.) 20 Feb 2020 20:14:37
Good result should be out of sight nut if we can create 10 good chances over there we should be fine at home.

2.) 20 Feb 2020 20:56:59
Game of two halves don't know what went wrong in the second half we let them play and get more of the ball.

05 Feb 2020 21:42:21
Edouard's stock just keeps rising. Free kicks now cemented as a string to his bow. According to Sutton he's the closest thing since Larsson. I'd have to agree. McGregor really deserved his goal tonight, man of the match for me. A fantastic win away to that team. Well done Bhoys.

1.) 05 Feb 2020 21:47:26
couldn't agree more on calmat edouard will rightly get the plaudits but any football fan must see the talent that is calmat the boy is a fantastic footballer.

2.) 05 Feb 2020 22:01:38
Great second half eddy and Callum outstanding but big Kris again gives me the fear.

3.) 05 Feb 2020 22:13:07
This was one of the best results and performances of the season against a very well organized, fit and physical that pushed us all the way. OK there were a few shaky starters and mistakes, but the way we took control - at a very difficult venue and created so many chances - it was a real test of character, stamina and determination and a lot of people would have expected us to wobble.
Excellent win, some brilliant attacking moves, terrific goals.
Cal-Mac is another Maestro, Griff is the old Griff and Eddy is the new Pele ha ha.

4.) 06 Feb 2020 10:15:56
Agree Liam. Edouard will go for the Dembele Dollars (real money, not mystery bids) , but CalMac is the man that really makes us take. Lennon touched on him being underrated. Personally I hope he continues to go under radars because he's so important to us. Consistently been our best player over the past two seasons for me.

Good reply Celtic_mad. To a T πŸ‘.

Mally, Ajer is having a few whoopsy moments lately, totally agree, and as much as he needs to start stamping them out, let's not forget he's still 21. Incredibly young for a CB still. We need to accept him making mistakes, in order to learn and improve.

Happy New Year Ed and all the posters. Here's to a decade of dominance.

He doesn't AG. Which is why he in particular wouldn't impress me. Hendricks is a work-horse, and that's about it. At times he might have his uses but he'd be one of our higher earners and I don't know who he walks in for. That's not the sort of winger we should be going for.

It's always the workers who pull through a tough situation. At the end of this mess who will the heroes be? The Billionaire CEOs? Or will it be the Hospital staff, care home workers, bus drivers, shelf stackers and delivery drivers?

Apart from this ending up in some sort of apocalyptic mess, which it shouldn't, there's no reason this league season shouldn't be finished. If it's in one month or six, let's just finish the one we've started.

Please tell me they aren't suggesting a AND VOID season would stop our consecutive titles πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

I'm in the same boat as you Kev. I think the season should be finished whenever possible. I'd take us being crowned champions over a null and void though. It would be interesting to see what UEFA would do if FAs did declare things finished. Maybe they could just have their wee elite Euro league after all.
