I think I’ve finally cracked it how the post split fixtures might look like.
It really is a mess due to Celtic and Hearts having to play the same club for the 3rd time at home.
Plus Sevco and Hibs having to play the same team for the 3rd time away from home.
Also one club will get to play 20 home games and only 18 at home.

The big fixtures between the top 3 clubs need to remain the same and also the Edinburgh Derby.
I’ve also picked Motherwell to play 20 home games this season because Historically they once played only 18 home matches and 20 games away.
The 6th placed club Falkirk have been the Guinea pig and have had to play the same 3rd fixture a few times for it to work.
I’ve got Falkirk at home to Sevco for a 3rd time and Celtic home to Motherwell for a 3rd time.

Celtic Fixtures-
H- Sevco, Hearts, Motherwell. A- Hibs, Falkirk.

Sevco Fixtures -
H- Hibs, Motherwell. A- Celtic, Hearts, Falkirk.

Hearts Fixtures -
H - Sevco, Falkirk. A- Hibs, Celtic, Motherwell

Hibs Fixtures-
H- Hearts, Celtic, Motherwell. A- Sevco, Falkirk.

Motherwell Fixtures-
H - Celtic, Hearts, Falkirk. A- Sevco, Hibs

Falkirk Fixtures -
H- Celtic, Sevco. A- Hearts, Hibs, Motherwell.

Hopefully the official fixtures are similar because both Sevco and Hearts have 3 hard away games each.

Buzz I would be happy with those fixtures, bonus if we get Motherwell at our patch, even Falkirk away is not too bad as their plastic pitch is one of the newer and better ones.

One big thing that's really riling me, has my blood boiling right now is where is lord lucan and his son Where is this Mr Celtic and his mouthpiece of a son? This situation between the fans towards the board isn't going away, it only intensifies after every poor performance and result, so being the so called head honcho of the club why hasn't he or his wee mouthpiece said a single word regarding this? Why can't he sit and give an interview regarding this situation and at least try to extinguish some of the flames right now? As far as u can see this board, Mr Celtic etc have done absolutely nothing to try resolve this unrest, quite content on letting it fester and rumble on, which leads me to believe that the final outcome regarding the GB will be to disband that group and sell.

on their section to other fans. but right now lord lucan should be adressing this situation not hiding away on some golf course. as fot his son, he'd no. problem giving the Celtic support their character at that sham of sn AGM yet he's nowhere to be seen either, and as for Nicholson? that's a clown so far out his depth its unreal to think he should even be holding such a position at a club like celtic.

I sadly cannot see us winning league as we have the worst strike force ( whole attack inc wingers ) I've ever seen on all my time watching celtic. nygren is also the only midfielder scoring goals. i'm also not convinced sinsalo is the finished article either. could both big and wee Sevconian implode? possibly. but I think unlikely.

{Ed007's Note - Imploding? None of the 3 teams are putting any great run of from together, Hearts have lost 2 of their last 5 (3 of their last 7) which is the same as us, TRIFC have drawn 3 of their last 7 (2 draws in their last 5 games).
With Hearts still to come to CP, away to Hibs and away to Motherwell there's still plenty of chance for them to drop points, TRIFC have still to go to Tynecastle and Falkirk as well as CP.
I expect all 3 teams to drop points between now and the end of the season but we MUST beat Hearts and TRIFC.}

{Ed007's Note - For months, every time we have dropped points we've heard "that's the league over" - and we've heard the same from TRIFC fans when they drop points - and here we are 5 points behind with 21 still to play for.

Its crucial we take full points before the split anything less and I think we can forget it. Win those 2 games and we could find ourselves level with them and 2 or 3 behind Hertz going into split. Worst case we go to split as we are the now.

Beat them and we overtake them, beat Hertz and we're within touching distance. I think 6 wins and a draw would take the title but its imperative 2 of the wins come against them and Hertz. I believe we are well capable of achieving this.

{Ed007's Note - We're no great shakes, Stevie but neither are any the other 2. We have a manager in MON and players that have been ther & done it when it comes to the business end of the season. The next few weeks will be the type of pressure Hearts have never experienced and we know that TRIFC can't handle it.
Let's hope MON and the players aren't throwing in the towel like a lot of the support are.
Hopefully over the break the board & the GB/support can call a truce and get CP full and rocking for the rest of the season, call an amnesty for any trumped up accusations that have no legal basis until the summer and then deal with it.}

Agree it’s so close to summer we need to call truce,

On league we’re so worse than even the Covid season but still in contention (lost Covid league by 25 points) that highlights how poor the other 2 are, hearts are better than normal but no world beaters, Celtic and sevvies have both been dire (but we’re dyer without spunking 50 mill ) imagine we pumped 50 mill into our team and ended up with nothing better, developing and stealing local talent need to be a priority imo but we’re years behind that being a success, we need an Ange type appointment (not Ange) who can galvanise team. Polish a few Turds, bring in some unknown talents and develope some players.

I was looking at our Covid season team and it’s much better than our record team.
The starting lineup that beat Hearts to win the Quadruple Treble -
Hazard
Ajer, Jullien, Duffy, Taylor
Turnbull, Brown, Calmac,
Christie, Edouard, Elyounoussi

We also had Rogic, Griffiths and Frimpong on the bench.
Our recent recruitment has been very poor.
It’s crazy we have lost 8 league games but still have a chance of the title.

I do think it’s possible due to us having both Hearts and Sevco at Celtic Park after the split.
I would currently have Sevco as favourites but that could change in the coming weeks.

Celtic have lost to 6 different clubs in the league this season and Sevco have only lost to Hearts all season but yet we’re only one victory against Sevco at Celtic Park to go above them.
Strange season so far with hopefully a few twists still to come.

We're definitely a shambles, but you just never know with that old Celtic magic, winning the European Cup from 1-0 down, Ten men won the league, 85 final from a goal down, 86 at Love Street, 88 cup final from 1-0 down, Tom Rogic final against the sheep, all these magical moments and more, you just never know, if there's a team this magic happens for it's us, I'm conceding nothing ✊???.

We've not won 3 games in a row since November. Our strikers not striker are on 11 goals. We are riddled with injuries. We aren't winning this league sadly.

I'd love to think we can still do it but I just don't see where the goals are coming from. We lost at home to a poor Hibs team and couldn't score against an even worse Dundee United team.

We all hate International Breaks but as pointed out it gives some of the injured players more recovery time. However, when players do come back into the team it's clear they are well below what's needed. Calum McGregor and Iheanacho were prime examples on Sunday and then we have AOC who still looks well short of his best.


The current squad is so depleted and weak that MON still can't decide on his best eleven and that's what worries me about the next 7 games, Because the other two have a settle team and system.
It's going to take a minor miracle to fix the Board's sabotage.

What's the chances we play Hearts before Sevco after the split?

I think it's a certainty because if it were the other way and we lost to Sevco, they will be fearing us lying down, (I know not the Celtic way) to Hearts in the hope Sevco don't win the league.

While I detest both teams, I'd rather the Diets won the league than them and would be happy to lose to them should our title hopes have gone.

I'd have played maeda through the middle on that midden and went a bit longer and use his pace iheanacho was always coming short and struggling because of the park, he could have started yang on left and maybe forrest or mccowan on the right, the boy Donovan is a trier but his crossing is awful, hopefully aurejo and aj are fit after break either engles coming back, we have been so unlucky with injuries and gad no consistency all season, wouldn't mind seeing young osmand as well probably better than what we've got.

Unfortunately, Celtic again have been very guilty of self inflicted damage and some ridiculous decisions by the people in power, Somehow, the conspiracy theorist part of me also suspected that there would be a concerted effort from tour detractors, establishment and even enemies within to derail us as soon as we hit that 55.
