Kast night showcased another biased clown to add to the list of anti-Celtic referees. Just a young guy too, they must have a quality screening process to continually churn out these Sevco facing "refs", (or cheats to be more precise! ) .
I can somewhat understand the old cronies like Beaton and Robertson but why would young refs jeopardise their potential future progression by being so inconsistent, (biased) with their decisions?
It's no wonder Scottish referees are seldom involved in Euro ties and nowhere near major finals. They may be pleasing their SFA masters but obviously UEFA and Fifa cab see them for the cheats they are.

It won’t change so long as our Board and managers stay silent on it…. Refreshing to see the Motherwell manager slating the performance of the ref they had against Sevco last night.

verse of the day
Matthew 22:37-40
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. ’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Thanks again UI. Your scripture readings are encouraging. We do this, not by self effort, but in the power of the Holy Spirit as we yield to Him?.

Steve Clarke? Only kidding.
12 Feb 2026 14:38:22
I would take Steve Clarke but I think he has no time for the bigots and hatred that goes with the job. His football would be more attacking with Celtic given the League we play in. He has taken a very average Scottish team farther in the international scene than we have been in many many years.
He has considerable experience and compared to Nancey and managers of that ilk he is streets ahead. I reckon we would progress better in European ties with a sensible and safe pair of hands on the wheel.
12 Feb 2026 15:07:40
Motherwell Manager must be in with a shout.
That’s what you call a job well done ?.
12 Feb 2026 17:08:14
Askou would be my favourite for the job.
12 Feb 2026 22:25:46
4 Leaf - his football is horrendous and always has been.
He does carry a lot of luck with Scotland.

I don't see, even if approached, Clarke taking the job and, given his views when he left Kilmarnock, and tbh, he wouldn't be my choice.
His brand of football is as exciting and engaging as his interviews.
Unless the board can either con Martinez or radically change the footballing structure at the club, I have not one idea why he'd come anywhere near CP to work under the muppet that is Nicholson.
Given we're approaching the mid point in February the board really need to get their finger out, or perhaps, they'll leave it until the last minute and end up taking a punt on some unknown via a Zoom call.
I wonder.

Celtic have now scored 4 injury time league winners this season.
Turning 4 Draws into victories is an extra 8 points.
( 91st, 92nd, 95th and 96th )
And not forgetting a 97th minute goal to keep us in the SC.
Hearts have also scored 3 injury time league winners this season but they also conceded a crucial injury time goal against Kilmarnock.
So they have only gained 4 extra points from crucial injury time goals.
Sevco have scored 3 crucial injury time goals but 2 of them were to secure Draws.
They have also only gained 4 extra points from crucial injury time goals this season.
Hopefully those extra points make all the difference come May.
PS - Celtic only scored 2 crucial injury time league goals last season and both were to secure Draws.

What has happened to hatate he doesn't look fit as in not injured just fit, so lethargic with no energy git to engles injury ain't serious as we are well short in that area.

I always feel Hatate struggles against better opponents when he has less time on the ball.
He came on last night after 30 minutes when their keeper already had about 7 saves and we had loads of room all over the pitch.
I was expecting Hatate to run riot with him having more time and space but he looked very poor with no confidence.
I was glad OX got him out of jail because that challenge in his own box was criminal.
12 Feb 2026 13:28:46
Mb carrying a slight injury as a noticed he was doing sprints at the HT whistle or mb trying to loosen up, but he looked so disinterested and his attitude was shocking a wouldve actually substituted him last night.
12 Feb 2026 17:13:48
Hatate should be nowhere near our first team as he looks uninterested in bring with us and is a liability on the pitch, he gives the ball away too often gets sent off and gives away a penalty. He doesn't want to be here or work for the team.
12 Feb 2026 12:09:40
Celtics 2 goals last night were scored from shooting outside the post. Why, don’t we shoot more from outside box instead of fanning about with the ball. But tbh bhoys we are an average team this year. No player is stepping up, too many players playing it safe.
On another note, in martins early days he used to send a big central defender up to try to nick a goal but he has failed to do that in the recent two close games. Strange.

If Martin ain't staying for another year my choice is the Well manager, Martinez sounds good but he'd want money and that board would end up in conflict with him the well manager has done it on a shoestring budget and clearly knows a player and his structure looks good they are by far the best footballing side in the league.

100%, i'd be all over this guy and at least 3 Well players. No concerns about being able to step up to manage us. Everything about this guy is total class. Motherwell by a mega distance the best team in the league to watch and its not just all pretty passes. Theresa Real work ethic and understanding of individual roles.

On this date in 1983,
Eric Black scored a perfect hat trick in a 3-1 victory for Aberdeen.
He was the first opposition player to score a hat trick at Celtic Park since 1968 and still the last to do it in front of spectators.
During lockdown loads of unwanted records occurred.
A Sparta Prague player scored in hat trick in front of an empty Celtic Park stadium, to be the first since Eric Black.
That defeat was the first time Celtic had lost 3 consecutive home matches in over 30 years.
Celtic went on to lose 4 consecutive home games for the first time in over 60 years, when we lost our first domestic cup tie in nearly 5 Years against Ross County.
Those times show how important the Celtic fans are to our success and hopefully the meeting with the GB today goes well.

It has been a very tough season all over the pitch with weaknesses in goal and defense, midfield frailties and too many missed chances. Injuries and managerial changes haven't helped, but it's clear to see that too many players are not at what some would call Celtic quality. Winning the title will be a massive achievement all things considered.
12 Feb 2026 11:28:02
It lose 24 league goals in the first 25 games is poor and I reckon it’s the worst in over 30 years since before the new Celtic Park was built.
We didn’t concede as many during lockdown which is a surprise considering every other unwanted records was broke that season.
Celtic conceded a high 35 league goals in the 2012/ 13 season but 17 of those goals were conceded in our last 13 league games when we took our foot off the gas.
Only 18 after 25 league matches.
One of the seasons under Ronnie we conceded 31 league goals but not as high as 24 after 25 league games.
12 Feb 2026 11:38:42
All these loans are shirt term fixes and in some cases no fixes, the board have let us down big time, fail to. invest prepare to fail.
12 Feb 2026 11:57:49
Invest in the youth, stop trying to buy success, take a few bad years till the next crop of decent players are ready.
12 Feb 2026 10:15:03
Obviously win both Ibrox games best case scenario lose both is worst what's then second best . win league game lose cup game? draw league game win Cup game.

Coming away undefeated in both games would be a huge boost.
Win the Cup match and then a victory or a Draw in the league game.
12 Feb 2026 11:23:00
MON may have a half decent record there, but too many of our players have bottled it in recent years and with the officials probably already handpicked, it will be a huge task to get any kinf of result (s) .
