Wish the 2 buns had that paddy field to visit only difference us hearts would just have shelled it we made the mistake if trying to play on it.

23 Mar 2026 14:08:49
Mally we can blame the park the refs the sfa the masons spectre and the mysterons. but we're just not good enough because of board incompetence aligned and abetted with atrocious and baffling recruitment policy.

23 Mar 2026 15:49:50
Agree with you drb, we are the architects of our own downfall. To think, if BR was backed fully he wouldn't have thrown in the towel and we could have been out of sight with regards to Scotland and making great headway in Europe.
These charlatan board members will never be forgiven and forgotten for what they have done to our Club.

23 Mar 2026 12:45:13
It's on the board no money spent hopeless loans with mo ambition and one in mvuka we don't even use cause he's mince, the worst forward line in 30 years oh for an andy payton who would be like larsson next to that lot, tounekti just don't get him bags of talent but only turns it on once In a blue moon and who has no heart.

Agree9 Disagree0

23 Mar 2026 13:20:17
One million percent cent agree! Nicholson will be away in the summer, thank Christ! The others you couldn't shame. They are selfish c#nts! I don't blame the players (Well, could maybe show a bit more fight) , but this group is so, so bad because of a lack of investment and forward planning. Ridiculous state of affairs!

23 Mar 2026 15:52:16
Yep makes no sense for a bunch that love the money they're strategy is completely baffling can't work it out, god forbid sevco get the cl money because you can bet they'll blow the lot.

24 Mar 2026 12:20:00
Mvuka has to be the worst signing in a while and to think we were signing him permanently i mean from watching him youd never think he's kicked a ball before, then your own standards slips when he pulls off one easy pass you think that was good, but its only because everything else has been shocking.

Who in that recruitment team thought of signing him. The are a lot of questions to be answered. How many times from a position of strength have we just let things slide.

24 Mar 2026 14:42:58
Mally I for one would love to hear the board give a reasonable rational as to why no real additions were brought in after we sold KF, NK, AI etc even though there is a record amount of cash in the bank due to their sales and previous progress In Europe not to mention ticket sales, won’t be holding my breath waiting as MN n co seem to just treat us as sh#t on their rather expensive shoes.

23 Mar 2026 10:50:51
I can take loosing the title. Hard though it is and even loosing the cups if I thought it was just a bump in road.
However we have a board and an absent leader who am scratching my head to the reason why they have allowed this to happen.
For years they had the chance to restructure the club, still winning the trophies we have, and learn from others on how to actually to be the world class they claim we are.
We now have a 74 year old legend being hung out to dry and face every question from the media while they are hiding in the shadows.

Even standing taking the abuse from the fans at the game yesterday they should have removed themselves from the stand but the showed utter contempt by standing looking all pleased with themselves.
That's the most scary thing for me. not loosing a title but these importers are leading us into a potential rebuild that needs to set us up for the next few year.

Agree7 Disagree0

23 Mar 2026 11:47:10
Spot on JJ
But don’t forget as well as ‘aiming to be world class in everything we do’ we are also ‘in great shape’ according to mighty Mike.

As an aside it’s hard to imagine the players MON knocked back are not as good as the players we brought in.

23 Mar 2026 12:19:24
You're spot-on. The warning signs were there even as far back as the panic downgrading when Oldco died and Lawell set us back decades and the infamous 5-way-agreement deal with the devil shackled us. For decades we have sold-off any and every asset star players and while I concede we are a selling club; why do we continually replace quality with quantity and quantities of mediocrity at that. Celtic are a pale shadow of what we could and should be.
Our absentee landlord dictator and son have assembled a puppet regime that have total control, but zero ambition or intent to improve the team to it's full potential.

Meanwhile they humiliate MON, alienate the fanbase amid an heir of untouchable arrogance.
This incompetent mismanagement - if allowed to continue will set the club back - not just for 12 months but possibly years, especially if the trophies and potential cash available goes elsewhere. If ever we needed another 'Save Our Celts' groundswell, it's now,

23 Mar 2026 09:57:22
Yesterday was a hard watch.

No quality up top like all season, even tho I thought Inneacho (spelling) looked decent.

Next to no efforts on goal. Wingers who can't cross a ball. Midfield not fit for purpose.

The 1st time we got meanful possession was around 5-10 mins into the game and went side to side with very little movement up top.

But you know the one thing that grates on me and it happened a few times yesterday. Players losing the ball and falling to the ground, Donovan and Hatate spring to mind. Claiming for a foul. Those 2 I mentioned took a age to get up and get back in position despite United attacking us.

Get up aff you ass and chase back your mistake.

But I still believe we win 7/ 7 we win the league. I think this team can do it.

MON has built this team on a good defence, but unfortunately it let him down yesterday.

Agree3 Disagree0

23 Mar 2026 12:23:18
Lost count how many times Hatate and others have been dispossessed and it's lead to a goal conceded. Especially when Celtic getting any free kicks in games is as rare as a solar eclipse.

23 Mar 2026 08:58:24
Whether we win the league this season or not, what half decent manager with a respectable cv and with any sense would even contemplate considering an approach from us in the summer whilst these muppets are still in charge. That thought alone must be a serious cause for concern with the major shareholders and must surely be turning them more and more against Desmond.
I don't think even O'neill would consider staying on after seeing first hand what he is dealing with especially in transfer dealings.

Some folk on these sites claim we need a clear out of of 6/ 7/ 8 players but the reality is much more drastic. We need pretty much a new full squad of players with only 4 or 5 of the current squad fit for playing for celtic. The rest are either has beens, wasters or lower spl players at best.
Even if Desmond and his henchmen fcked off this mess will take years to fix even if the right steps are taken in the summer.

Agree3 Disagree0

23 Mar 2026 08:30:31
Has anyone heard of updates regarding our crocked players? Osmand, Engels and AJ? They can't be far off?

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Mar 2026 13:07:46
AJ and Engels are training and should be available again for the Dundee match.
I don’t know about young Osmand.

23 Mar 2026 15:53:49
At least Dundee have a decent pitch oh wait they pumped us on it ?.

23 Mar 2026 17:26:11
The last I'd heard Osmand had some setbacks so we might not see him this season now.

22 Mar 2026 22:17:20
The league is not over yet and we must not give up hope but we simply cannot afford to drop any more points. Win every game is a must and unfortunately this team is simply not good enough to go on a run of 7 wins.

Any other season i would be confident but this team is different. Its over for me but i just pray for a minor miracle.

Agree7 Disagree0

22 Mar 2026 23:20:55
I still think Celtic have a good chance but we need to beat Hearts and Sevco at home.

23 Mar 2026 04:59:51
We're clearly not good enough and for the first time in years it's out in our hands we have too many soft players with no heart.

23 Mar 2026 09:33:17
It was just a bad day at the office, what's with the panic.

23 Mar 2026 07:52:23
I can't see us beating Dundee nevermind winning every game in the split. This team is full of ageing, want away or bang average players who don't have the fight in them.

Would love to be proved wrong, but yesterday has been coming for weeks. We don't seem to have any style or tactics to our play and look unbelievably weak against any sort of physicality.

8 defeats is simply embarrassing and I think it's more likely that gets to double figures than us finding any sort of form to win this title. The players chucked it yesterday, not for the first time this season.

23 Mar 2026 09:10:00
Celtic isn't winning the league. The cup is our best chance of silverware and that's not a certainty. Worse Celtic squad since the 90s.

23 Mar 2026 09:59:12
We’ve now lost more games (8) than both Hearts (5) and Bjorn Again (2) combined. Celtic aren’t beating both and winning our remaining 7 games. The league was effectively lost when the board knowing we were in third place and in a dog fight failed to back O’Neil and bring goals into the team in January.

23 Mar 2026 10:10:29
For me it's been a season of hoping rather than expecting victories. Even with the experience of MON we have lost 2 games we would normally have put to bed (especially Hibs at home) .
The Board are responsible for every inch of this difficult journey. Declaring war on the support, including hi-jacking their own AGM. In conjunction with the incompetent and insufficient recruitment and the character assassination and dismissal of Rodgers, the infamous appointment of Wilfried Nancy and the ultimate humiliation of a who's who of duds and fuds loanees in January.

The chances of winning the double are possible but very slim, but whatever the outcome the guilty party has to be accountable.

23 Mar 2026 10:19:46
We have been hanging onto the league by the skin of our fingertips we have struggled in every game bar none, can you hang your hat on us winning every game from here on in, the squad is bereft of talent all over rhe Park and if we do lise this league it's not because the 2 bun teams are good it's more that we're not.

23 Mar 2026 10:48:22
Dont think hearts will lose 3 games between now and end of season and they're top scorer is due back. if the monkeys beat them it then only strengthens the monkeys over us. if we had a striker/ strikers capable of scoring goals i'd be more optimistic. no matter what the outcome. SACK THE BOARD.

23 Mar 2026 12:27:44
They don't need to lose 3 games. We win all of ours and hope Sevco beat Hearts that'll be enough to win by 1 point providing everyone wins all remaining games.

22 Mar 2026 22:10:19
Forget Hearts because they won’t win the title.

Celtic are one home victory of going above the latest Ibrox club.

If it was the 1986 or when it was 2 points for win then Celtic would be in massive trouble.
Sevco would be top of the league on goal difference and Hearts would be 2nd.
Celtic would also be 3rd but 4 points behind and 8 goals worse off than Sevco.
Basically than would mean Sevco would need to drop points in at least 3 games due to our inferior GD.
But as it stands if Celtic beat them at home we go above them.

Keep The Faith ?.

23 Mar 2026 08:52:00
After yesterday's display I'm afraid I've no faith this team couldn't beat an egg. ???.

23 Mar 2026 14:36:29
Celtic have failed to beat Sevco in 90 mins in the last 9 games.

6 draws and 3 defeats.

22 Mar 2026 20:39:36
Hey guys it could be worse

Imagine being a Spurs fan watching your bitter rivals winning the EPL while your Tottenham team get RELEGATED.

22 Mar 2026 21:02:40
At least they got rid of levy. ?.

22 Mar 2026 21:36:56
They also seen Arsenal still not win the league cup since 1993.

22 Mar 2026 21:48:47
Their manager wins them a European trophy and they sack him.

22 Mar 2026 19:34:39
The major difference after today is we now need to beat Sevco at Celtic Park which I believe we will.

Before today we had to Hearts at Celtic Park after the split and we could probably afford to draw with Sevco and still had a very good chance of winning the league.

Now I feel Celtic need to win both games and then see where it takes us.
Remember 2008,
Celtic had to beat Rangers twice to give us any chance of winning the title.
We managed both victories at Celtic Park and now this situation is similar.
Both games will be at Celtic Park and that will be a big advantage and then hopefully we will see a 1986 or 2008 scenario.

Agree5 Disagree0

22 Mar 2026 19:46:46
Buzzbomb,

whilst it's possible, the odds of us doing that and going onto retain the title are as slim as it gets.

The single biggest factor that goes against us is that we are witnessing the poorest Celtic team in 30 years.

The hoops teams of 1986 and 2008 would have battered this current side without breaking sweat.

Time will tell but I think karma is coming back to bite that shower of sh. oite of a board in the arse.

World Farce at everything they do.

22 Mar 2026 19:50:35
I wish I had your confidence. What our best XI? Who will play up front? Can these guys be trusted?

I have massive doubts.

22 Mar 2026 20:19:39
Celtic are currently 5/ 2 which isn’t massive Odds so we still have a chance.

I mentioned earlier Henrik we need to change formation after the break when Johnston is back.

3-4-2-1
Sinisalo
Johnston, Trusty, Scales
Araujo, Engels, Calmac, KT
Nygren, Ox
Any striker.

{Ed007's Note - I'm still 100% confident that we'll win the league, Buzz.}

22 Mar 2026 20:35:08
The difference from then buzz is that the 2008 side made changes and scored goals and had a formation of play that aloud them to do so.
This current side must have one of lowest chance creation status in many a year.
We can go on about the board and injuries and if that's why we are so bad then fair enough. But this team are never winning this league.

The question we should all be asking is, are the club currently in discussions with a new manager and in discussions with new players.
But we all know that they aren't.
There lies the real issue.
I can except losing a title or a cup but can't except us sleeping walking into next seasons disaster.

22 Mar 2026 20:38:59
Ed.
I still don’t think Hearts are a threat.
Their 20 set piece goals which is nearly 40% have kept them top.

We need to beat Dundee definitely and then Celtic have 4 homes in our last 6 matches.

If Celtic don’t manage to win the league then I believe Sevco will win their 1st major title in front of spectators.

{Ed007's Note - No team has put together any real run of form, us and Hearts have lost 2 out their last 5 games, I'm still confident that MON will get us over the line.
What's the score, Buzz, we in all our games and we want Them' Un's to beat Hearts? I got a text saying that...

22 Mar 2026 20:42:07
Haha brilliant ed. when your next gig at the comedy club. Haha 100%.

{Ed007's Note - You can listen to me talking pish on YT. Send me £1, €1 or $1 and I'll do it more often ☺?

22 Mar 2026 21:03:42
Buzz is that not Nancy's formation. ?.

22 Mar 2026 21:04:45
Edd, if you are right and we win the league I will start your Christmas appeal when it comes with 100 quid.

But for now I will revert to your calling card.

Birthday Card Pish. ?.

{Ed007's Note - I'll take that ??

22 Mar 2026 21:08:08
I am too Ed, if we get to the split in the same position or better than we are now i'll be pretty confident. We must win our 2 games before the split, if we can do that then I'd be confident of beating both Hertz and them at home.

{Ed007's Note - Folk are writing off the league - there's 21 points to play for - again and we've been hearing the same Tena patter every time we've dropped points since August.
Every single time for months we've dropped points it's been the "that's it the league is over", absolute panic because there is a fight for the title on from people that should know better.}

22 Mar 2026 21:32:14
A fight that we ain't tooled up to win ed.

{Ed007's Note - We haven't gone away you know...

22 Mar 2026 21:50:44
Yes but our title looks like it will leaving sooner rather than later.
Hope you're right mate. but you're don't lie. we are piss poor. We need to win 7 out of 7 and we still need a snooker.

{Ed007's Note - 5 points behind with 21 to play for....

22 Mar 2026 21:52:04
Joe,
Nancy had a mid CB Trusty playing on the right of a back 3 and it was a disaster.

I previously mentioned I wanted that formation several weeks ago but we didn’t have Johnston to play it.
Massive mistake was allowing Welsh to leave because he could have played on the right of a back 3.
Many might not like that idea but it’s better than playing all those wingers during that period.

Jungle,
2008 is a 100% similar to what were are currently facing.
Scott Brown got suspended and he also had family issues.
Gordon started playing Paul Hartley and Barry Robson in midfield and we Won our last 7 league games to again win the league.

Keep The Faith ?.

23 Mar 2026 12:20:44
Where is the confidence coming from that we will beat Sevco and Hearts at Celtic Park?

Both of them have already beaten us there this season.

We can’t beat SPFL dross just now, but of course it was down to the pitch/ Ref ?.

23 Mar 2026 14:40:20
Stop it North ???.

You forgot the supercomputer as well as the weather.

23 Mar 2026 15:50:11
It’s true though mate.

We have an awful lot of fans displaying the Tim version of staunch points by refusing to believe what their own eyes have been telling them all season.

This is the worst Celtic squad in 35 years.

23 Mar 2026 17:12:19
I agree North 100%

Each to their own though, we all have our own views and I’d happily take a “ I told you so “ if this mob of misfits somehow win this league.

22 Mar 2026 19:29:25
Hey my friends Enrico very disappointed today.

Martin has done all he can guys with this team you know.

These guys need to play the best they can now to win Scottish cup.

Ed my friend things need to move quickly now to get management team and playing squad ready for next season.

This is not so good today my friends.

Enrico sips glass of grape juice worrying about season ending. ?.
