Transfermarkt are quite poor with player valuations but it’s only a guideline.

They have both players combined valuation at £7.7M
The striker at €4M and the Winger at €5M.
Transfermarkt had the winger valued at only €2.8M last week which was a combined valuation of only 5.8 million pounds.

If they want to spend 2.5 to 3 times that valuation then by all means.

80s - mcstay and Nicholas
90s - Donnelly (slim pickings)
00s - mcgeady, miller and kennedy
10s - Tierney and forrest
20s - donovan.

For late 70s I would add Burns and Aitken.

In the 10s I would have Calmac.

I didn't pick Donnelly or Donovan because they were outstanding but there was not much to choose from. McGregor also a good shout from the 10s, although he did not make it until he was much older.

You also have dalglish and mcgrain from the 70s. Although you could put mcgrain in the 60s, as he made his debut then.

The 90s were terrible for Celtic so I couldn’t think of any player.

It was a really good question and really highlights the poor returns from our development department.

Hopefully a few will emerge over the next couple of years.

Colby is doing alright but it’s too early yet to say he will definitely establish himself. ???.

Dont know about stand out but you also had the pointer 80s, not dure when Maloney was Thers Ben Doak who plsyed half game mind ther was the blonde headed Cb who played 80/ 90s pretty poor for club size Celtic.

I was reading that for every £1 made in the Conference League then £7 is made in the Champions League and that’s not counting gate money.

If Celtic and Sevco both Qualify next week,
Celtic will be guaranteed another 240,000 fans at our 4 home sell out group games.
Sevco will be lucky to get 120,000 from their 3 home group matches.

The difference in European revenue between both clubs this season could be huge.

Next week Celtic could also overtake Coefficient FC in the 5 year table for the first time in 5.5 years.

Celtic are taking every record the Ibrox clubs held one by one.
Maybe all they have left is the Ibrox clubs combined have more League Cups.
I can’t think of anything else.

Rangers only Qualified for the Cup winners Cup because they lost to Double winners Celtic in the 1971 SC Final.
They only finished 4th in the league that season with Aberdeen and St. Johnstone also finishing above them.

The old Rangers remain the only club not to participate the following year as the holders of a European trophy due to their hooligan fans getting them banned.

Imagine if he actually tried to coach and get his players to try and play football.

He's so caught up and desperate for fans approval that he is focused on coaching the dark arts and how to win the crowd over. He probably puts on Gladiator as a training video. He could maybe win the crowd by actually playing football. His strategy didn't work at Aberdeen and it especially didn't work last season. He lost the last 7 games, title winning stuff he carried over to Ibrokes. ??.
