Apparently they didn't align with their longterm plans. It is all very strange.
They have said there is lots of money to spend for the next Chairman, which is bizarre considering they lost 14 million and spent around 30 in the summer.
Stewart spoke about living within their means but then spent that much in the summer.
So if they have money to spend and him and Thelwell demonstrated they can spend ( ok most of it on crap players) what are they not aligning to in the club strategy.
The owners maybe don't recognise the risks of not living within their means, which Stewart has been on about.

Sevco only spent a net figure of about £3M in the summer transfer window with arrivals against players sold.
Celtic made their Annual transfer profit which is now sadly noticeable with good players not being suitably replaced.

It's the same with our fans when it's mentioned Celtic have spent £20M and our team should then be better.
But they forget to add that Celtic normally make a £10M profit because they've just sold £30M worth of talent.
The current Celtic Squad is a continuation of that trend.

I cannot see sevco spending a lot in January, unless they manage to sell some of their superstars. FFP rules will restrict them unless they sell and who is going to pay serious money for any of their players.
Their owners will be more focused on spending money to try and keep Leeds in the Pub League.
They are in serious danger of going down.
That is where the money lies for them not via sevco.
We get in 2 or 3 players of quality to support the players we have, we should see them all off but the players we have do really need help.

mate ill say they run the club as a business brilliant and that's what's needed in this day and age the money we make for the league we play in is brilliant.
but they need to show ambition to help kick us on a bit in Europe. it was not so long ago parkhead was a fortress in Europe we were turning over Barcelona man u juventus ac milan benfica liverpool team feared coming to our stadium now were getting skelped constantly aff the big clubs.
but what i will say i think the style of play is to do with most of our beatings . oneil strachan and lennon mixed it up and bought players who got stuck and that's teams that go results in Europe
mostly projects season in season out. listen most of our projects end up main players and go for big buks then its projects bought again.

A project signing is probably not expected to start on a regular basis but hopefully that would change over time.
O'Riley was a project signing because he played in the English lower leagues but he did well to hit the ground running and got a regular start ahead of schedule.
Engels and Trusty both played 32 league games each in the Bundesliga and the English Premiership the season before Celtic signed them.
They along with experienced KT were expected to be in the first team as regular starters due them playing at a high level before we signed them.
His stats would suggest however that Idah was overpriced and was never a £9M striker who couldn't get a regular start with Norwich.

11m for a regular in the bundesliga is probably about right trusty at 6m just about right and he's doing very well at the minute and he's an international idah yep overpriced but there is potential and again a full international, the projects from this Summer have struggled but need time time will tell.
