Sevco have now had 9 consecutive domestic home draws in the last 2 years.
Celtic will now have 4 away games in a row in the space of 9 or 10 days.
Stuttgart, Ibrox, Aberdeen and then Ibrox again.
Bring It On.
08 Feb 2026 23:44:10
Shades of NL's first stint as manager when we played them twice in 6 or 7 days.
08 Feb 2026 10:40:56
I have my usual Tav Pen bet on bookies only paying 11/ 10 so they have cottoned on to the Sevvy penalty awards
Also taking them -3 (no way will they get beat 2 years in a row)
And we all KNOW already the cup draw will give them another home tie against a lower ranked team (I do not need my crystal ball for THAT)
08 Feb 2026 15:37:43
Easy £££££££.
08 Feb 2026 16:36:08
@Steff I have bet Tav pen for about 2 years now and got about an 80% success rate thanks to our "unbiased" Scottish refs
Today I knew Queens Park could not pull off a shock two years in a row.
08 Feb 2026 17:52:23
Nice top up for you . I see their manager completely writes of Motherwell and has them top of the table if they beat hearts!
08 Feb 2026 21:19:21
It's the hope that kills them every season?.
09 Feb 2026 17:10:37
Is the hope that kills them? Or their arrogance?
08 Feb 2026 09:40:43
Just a quick post regarding the state of officiating in Scotland. i'm not one for the paranoia around some fans regarding bias officiating but it is blatentley clear the standards and consistency of officiating is embarrassing.
Surely there is a watchdog or something of the sort run by uefa/ fifa to watch over officiating domestically?
Can clubs not bring up concerns to uefa/ fifa regarding standards?
Like i say i'm not one for thinking they are all against us, i feel we get our fair share of bad decisions as do they etc, but the quality and consistency is beyond embarrassing now.
Something is going to need to change as VAR was brought in to be "fix" honest mistakes but, let's be honest, its made officiating worse whereas in other countries its improved decisions.

Watching airdrie vs st mirren and don't know why it pooped into my head but been trying to remember what airdrie hooligans called themselves in the 70s early 90s . was it section b? . they where a bit of a nasty lot.
{Ed007's Note - Aye, Section B. A bit like the Onion Bears, they've followed 2 different clubs.}
08 Feb 2026 09:56:08
Section B and baby crew. Motherwells Sataurday Service used to leather them frequently.
06 Feb 2026 07:57:02
Bfkb at it again waffling nonsense, the night sevco signed Ramsay I was watching deadline day and he nearly fell off his seat with glee when Ramsay was announced, now he's comparing our signing of the ox to that saying it's desperation, aye nae bother fatty green way envy haha.
06 Feb 2026 14:24:39
Surprised I am not.
I think bfkb is still upset about his missing his penalty in Europa league final. But when he first signed he was supposed to be the scottish footballs biggest signing since the alky wife beater. How did that work out lol
I think Celtic fans are a little more realistic.
06 Feb 2026 07:50:49
Sevco hit with a sex scandal as players have been playing away ? and there's a rat running about the crumbledome no shock there, it's all kicking g off ???.
05 Feb 2026 11:12:28
Wee mick will be cock a hoop pardon the pun,2m incoming once oh moves.
05 Feb 2026 09:50:46
Serious question.
Why does David Dickinson get so many Rangers games to referee?
Back in the day I helped with fixtures and refs etc at Youth level. Thought the idea was to rotate to avoid familiarity and prevent possible perceived bias.
Is the pool of referees so shallow cause he gets way too many games in my opinion and is singlehandedly having a serious effect on outcomes of games all helping Rangers F. C.
05 Feb 2026 11:55:03
On Saturday night,
We’ve got Dickinson doing VAR with Dallas as his assistant drawing dodgy lines.
Red Red Red Douglas Ross is also running the line.
What could possibly go wrong?
05 Feb 2026 13:24:33
Dickinson has got to be that lot's player of the year so far! Every descion has went their way since the Trusty non red card.
05 Feb 2026 15:57:49
I wonder if mcinnes will say anything about Sevco players not getting sent off in scottish games like he did with us the next time they play?
05 Feb 2026 15:59:28
How tav stayed on was incredible they didn't even look at it if it's not red it's a 2nd yellow, my god they're Trying their best.
05 Feb 2026 16:32:04
McCann was raging and was told by 4th official via ref that were wasn't enough contact.
As Thompson on BBC said its all subjective and Allen said it was interesting. Both seemed to suggest Tavernier should have at least been booked but given that he had already been booked he shopuld have walked.
Kilmarnock apparently were in the game even with ten men.
I can't for the life of me get my head around why we as Celtic and other teams that are not Rangers making an issue of the clear bias towards the Ibrox club from referees and VAR.
Collums patronising cup of tea with Gordon Duncan and the we will learn from this patter just doesn't wash.
05 Feb 2026 18:01:35
There is a view from the front that is more damning, Tavernier has got his arm round the front of the Killie player, definite yellow, and sending off.
04 Feb 2026 22:55:53
Never realised until I read it tonight the Sevies paid 5.2 mill for a striker . I'm baffled what's the rules on spending?
05 Feb 2026 08:41:22
They didn't pay that. A significant proportion of it is possible future add-ons, so it won't appear as a cost unless it is triggered. We also need to remember that the transfer fee is split over the duration of the contract (known as amortisation) .
For example if you pay 4 million for a player and give him a 4 year contract. Then 1 million will appear on the books each year for the next 4 years.
05 Feb 2026 09:57:06
They seemingly paid 4.2 upfront. I just don't get this Fair play rule, how can a Club like ours sell copious amount of players over the last 3 or 4 seasons for 20-25 million each have built up a bank balance of 75 million but seem to be restricted on what we can spend? We surely can't be anywhere near the danger zone .
More so if its true that as you say a 4million quid player over a 4 year contract is 1 million per year showing on accounts.
Absolutely baffling.
05 Feb 2026 19:37:30
Fair play is gone Stevie. The new rule is called financial sustainability regulation.
It says you are allowed to pay up to 70% of you revenue on transfers, wages and agent fees.
As I mentioned above 1.2 million is add-ons and won't appear until the clause is triggered. The other 4 million. Is split over the duration of the contract and is known as amortisation. So only 1 million of that 4 million appears on this year's accounts as an expense.
Celtic had a much higher ceiling than Sevco for spending this year, as we could spend 70% of 145 million and they could only spend 70% of 95 million. The fact we didn't spend is down solely to the board because as you say we were no where near the ceiling.
05 Feb 2026 22:24:00
I had assumed a 4 year contract above.
04 Feb 2026 20:39:09
If that was a penalty and a red card, the game is quite literally, over.
The boy wasn't even watching the Sevco player.
Dickinson is a dirty cheat.
04 Feb 2026 21:41:12
Aye but that t? t McCann won't say anything, wonder if his team will try that hard in the next game. Or will they be back to showing against Aberdeen?
04 Feb 2026 21:44:45
Dickinson’s last 4 Sevco league games he has given penalties against Dundee Utd, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock but yet refuses Motherwell an injury time penalty at Ibrox.
04 Feb 2026 22:48:13
The exact same thing happened but outside the box. Only this time it was a Sevco player who was last man and fell into a Killie player and brought him down. No free kick and no red card. ?.
04 Feb 2026 23:57:43
At least McCaan said Tavpen should have been sent off but the staunch referee said not enough contact from the tackle from behind! He's another supporter that should be nowhere near refereeing that lots games!
05 Feb 2026 01:15:23
Strange how the VAR officials never stepped in for the TavPen red card. I guess that is only when its a Celtic player they do that!
The corruption is in plain sight for everyone to see.
05 Feb 2026 02:11:16
How did Tavernier stay on the pitch at 1-0.
Take your pick from a 2nd yellow from Dickinson or VAR should’ve got involved for a straight Red Card.
Sometimes you can see that a referee is not biased but just a poor referee but Dickinson knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s basically a cheat.
05 Feb 2026 06:22:17
I agree, it was a straight red card buzz, as Tav came across him to block his run and there was contact, plus he was the last man. It was more blatant than trusty's one against hearts.
05 Feb 2026 08:24:01
Tav was already on a yellow card so should have gone. I've not seen it so can't judge for myself. But I'm intrested to compare it to Trust red card.
05 Feb 2026 09:31:41
In the Trusty incident the ball went wide and only had a XG of 8%.
Plus Trusty wasn’t the last man and he wasn’t already booked but yet receives a straight Red Card.
Tavernier has already been booked and was the last man.
Plus the ball was going straight down the middle but nothing to see here.
Maybe Dickinson and Beaton have no more cards to use and it’s still only the start of February because they’ve made their bias decisions too obvious and probably too early in the season.
Collum will need to sort the pair of them out by giving them the old Collum/ Clancy treatment and freeze them out of the Sevco games and then also add in the Celtic matches.
I wouldn’t like to think they both will get away with much more cheating this season anyway.
05 Feb 2026 12:19:09
I thought it had to be violent conduct to be penalised twice? Sent off and penalty given.
It was mentioned the other night when the Hearts player was sent off, the pundits were saying if he had fouled him inside the box it would have been Pen and yellow card. Since it was outside its straight red for denying goal scoring opportunity.
05 Feb 2026 15:17:26
Double Jeopardy can’t be penalised if the player makes a genuine attempt to get the ball.
Dickinson ruled the Kilmarnock player never attempted to play the ball resulting in the Red Card.
I remember Calmac received a second yellow at Ibrox for a tackle trying to stop a promising attack - AFTER Sevco scored.
Not much was made about that mistake from the referee.
A player can receive a straight red card for an offence in the leadup to a goal but not a 2nd yellow for trying to stop a promising attack.
