Was speaking to someone tonight at mass who is a heavy punter, told me Sean Dyche will be the new manager he has had a decent punt him him weeks ago. I suppose we will have to wait and see just thought I'd pass it on . oldkilly.

That father Morelos is a liar and a cheat Oldkilly 😂.

2.) 18 May 2019 19:53:58
Hope not. He's done well with Burnley especially with that squad but I just think the Celtic job is so different it's hard to tell how well he would hit the ground running.

3.) 18 May 2019 22:02:21
Don’t really think it will be him, just adding his name to the list of many that we have read about. oldkilly.

4.) 18 May 2019 22:30:10
No chance it's him but that would be great coup if it was.

5.) 18 May 2019 22:49:15
These sort of managers get all the plaudits because they are basically the only English one's in the EPL Burnley (ha ha sky TV) have double Celtics wage bill play absolutely brutal football then get hailed as a Messiah for finishing 17th-10th please no. Aberdeen played better football than them.

6.) 18 May 2019 23:35:30
He is a defensive manager kev. I thought that wasn't allowed at Celtic?

7.) 18 May 2019 23:56:04
Look surely it’s clear we get a coach who goes with a set identity of play like Rodgers who has a reasonable standing in the game as we see how novices go in a club our size. Or a coach with a adaptable approach not sure we can get much better than Lennie of that type. I like the idea of a playing identity but don’t like giving a man who stepped in when we were in need should be treated badly.

8.) 19 May 2019 08:25:08
Hail Mary full of. each yous know the rest.

9.) 19 May 2019 10:10:36
I'd be surprised if Burnley's wage bill was double what ours is.

10.) 19 May 2019 11:46:13
Celtic wage bill 59 million, Burnley wage bill 58 million.

Reading this morning that Willy Sagnol wants to become the next Celtic manager. what's people's thoughts on this story. oldkilly.

oldkilly

1.) 18 Apr 2019 11:44:42
Underwhelmed tbh.

2.) 18 Apr 2019 12:09:57
He's got very little managerial experience not for me.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 13:21:51
I’d agree not experienced enough but after the news that we are looking interested in David Wagner and doing a wee bit of research I think this guy would be an excellent appointed and I really hope this happens identical style to klop fast attacking football and he did well with an average Huddersfield side small budget ideal manager if you ask me 🍀.

4.) 18 Apr 2019 15:18:14
I don’t think we are interested in Wagner mate I think you’ve just read my post from last week and taken it as gospel 😂.

5.) 18 Apr 2019 20:02:39
😂 Na didn’t see your post it’s all over the papers and social media so thought their might be something In it and considering he’s out a job definitely wouldn’t surprise me.

6.) 18 Apr 2019 22:03:56
Wagner on paper sounds like a great fit my concern would be on how he left Huddersfield seems like he needed a break from football if he can't handle the pressure at a club like that then would he survive in the madness that will come with being our boss and the added lunacy of the whole of Scotland trying to derail the 10 or am I mistaken did he leave Huddersfield for a different reason I'm sure you guys will know more than me.

7.) 18 Apr 2019 23:07:58
I believe it was mutual consent they were bottom of the league and they decided to part ways I don’t think it had anything to go with needing a break and I don’t think managing celtic would be hard for him he would manage the job I think, at the end of the day we will find out soon enough who it’s going to be but like I said I’ve heard celtic are interested in him there will be others too and time will tell.

8.) 19 Apr 2019 14:05:51
I'm not so sure Chris the pressure that comes at Celtic from the expectation to win is intense enough at a normal time but these next two seasons are going to be amplified ten fold the quote I read from Huddersfield said it was mutual but had been initiated by Wagner who felt he needed a break from the rigours of football but as I said on paper he seems like a good fit for us other wise.

9.) 20 Apr 2019 22:15:36
Wagner is no fit for Celtic. Managing Huddersfield he wasn't used to managing at team winning nearly every match . I don't think that pressure, the hatred of Celtic in the main stream Scottish media and the anti Celtic bias of referees and SFA would probably be too much for him, he certainly never came across anything like it in his Footbal Managing Career.

10.) 22 Apr 2019 09:52:50
What calibre of players would he be able too attract.

11.) 22 Apr 2019 23:16:21
Would rather Bilic over Sagnol.

12.) 27 Apr 2019 21:20:49
I can't say any name I have seen mentioned excites me and makes me feel confident that we will get 9 in a row . I would be surprised if any of the names mention, apart from Lennon's is actually in the running . We were able to get Rodgers because, he was afraid that he was getting too long out of the game and needed to get back into the game, of course he proved it by cutting us adrift in mid stream.

Hi Ed is the playing surface diseased again I have noticed where I sit in the north stand that it is becoming threadbare much the same as before and also the goal area as well any info on it.

oldkilly

{Ed007's Note - I've not heard anything mate.}

1.) 07 Dec 2019 21:58:25
It looks great where I sit oldkilly.

2.) 07 Dec 2019 22:11:45
Hard to see from where I stand with the flares 👀.

{Ed007's Note - 😂😂😂😂😂😂

3.) 07 Dec 2019 22:20:54
Talking about surfaces. Remember the Scotland game a few months ago, when the Hampden surface was full of puddles because of the amount of rain.
It's been raining non stop today and the forecast for tomorrow is more rain.
I don't know if any thing has changed with the Hampden surface but if it's anything like it was in the Scotland game, the game could be in doubt or a chance of being abandoned.

4.) 07 Dec 2019 22:29:32
Cheers guys, from where I sit in the north stand, from the halfway line towards the Lisbon lions stand it looks like it was when it was diseased, at the next home game have a look 3/ 4 yards in from touch line.

5.) 07 Dec 2019 23:28:14
I'm north stand towards Jock stein oldkilly and our side looks superb goes to show how different things look from different parts of the stadium @welshy 😂😂😂😂 clearly you lot are to blame for the state of the pitch as well.

6.) 08 Dec 2019 11:37:54
Aye its the pollution from the smoke.

24 Nov 2019 13:59:24
Reading the stats from yesterday's game and Celtic committed 1,yes 1 Foul in ninety minutes that must be some sort of record in any football match.

oldkilly

1.) 24 Nov 2019 15:02:18
One foul between the whole team and he received a booking.

2.) 24 Nov 2019 16:10:59
Leon that’s baby dallas for you, his decision to blow for a foul when Frimpong was away after two tackles was a disgrace, no advantage poor officiating.

3.) 24 Nov 2019 19:51:19
There was a few meaty challenges in that game, their number 9 could have seen yellow much earlier. However from where I was sitting brown did “do him “ A bit in a couple of challenges, which I don’t mind at all, although I thought the ref may have given him a red. We can’t afford to give them any options with a dodgy red or pen option.

Was reading an article at the week-end from Ewan Henderson, he was talking about his brother Liam and how well he was playing in Serie A . It got me wondering why he is never considered for the national squad (well not to my knowledge) considering the same old failures get chosen for every squad, surely playing at the level he is would warrant a call up.

oldkilly

1.) 21 Oct 2019 22:54:54
He wasn't considered enough for the hoops never mind the national squad.
Definitely in the one that got away category for me.

2.) 22 Oct 2019 00:17:01
I think the centre of midfield is the one position other than left back that we have plenty of options. For me McGregor, McGinn and Armstrong are all better than Henderson.

21 Oct 2019 13:58:08
Once again the hype regarding Sunday's big game from the best league in the world was disappointing, gave up after while, what's other posters thoughts.

oldkilly

1.) 21 Oct 2019 14:22:46
Over paid overrated and over priced rubbish mate! No time for it whatsoever and gave up watchn it years ago!

2.) 21 Oct 2019 15:07:52
Watched it bored out my nut.
Liverpool manager plays to the media and camera it's an act. He is boring me not sure if he has a nervous reflex or what. The amount of times the camera panned on him was his reaction was more entertaining than the game in there opinion. Over rated but big money.

3.) 21 Oct 2019 15:54:51
Thought Celtic were brilliant 😉😉😉.

4.) 21 Oct 2019 16:37:03
Few of my rangers pals?
Say we are celebrating destroying ross county. I said it was way we did broke them down pass pass goal we played as a team. Etc. Then pissed them off when I said it also gives these players huge confidence boost for the next game and to the team etc that's why when Celtic are wining they need to just destroy teams as this will keep the confidence high.

09 Oct 2019 20:45:41
How desperate can people get, the daily record supercomputer has predicted rangers Will win the title ahead of Celtic. I realise they are hurting but this is, as I said DESPERATION.

oldkilly

1.) 09 Oct 2019 21:27:23
I saw the heading and couldn't even be bothered to click as I guessed as much. Super computer lol.

2.) 09 Oct 2019 22:03:19
Same one that does the impartial fixture lists n who refs who 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

3.) 10 Oct 2019 09:50:48
It won’t be long before the supercomputer experiences a serious malfunction when Celtic go steaming ahead to title number 9.

DRA1967 I honestly don’t know why you bother supporting Celtic nothing in any of your posts are positive 9/ 9 trophies going for nine titles in a row just won the Europa cup group a final next week why can’t you just enjoy what we are achieving just now instead of cheap shots at Lawwell and the board and anything Celtic .

With the transfer window barely a week closed and would appear to be a satisfactory
one and a terrific victory at ibrox, we have fans on hoping Celtic are looking for a replacement for Edouard as he will be punted shortly. If Peter Lawwell came out and said the same fans would be crucifying him the man just can’t win with certain fans, for goodness sake can’t we just enjoy the success we have without all the nonsense.

When you look at what Sheffield United, Brighton and Bournemouth have paid in transfer fees £20m, £20m and £14m that’s what we are up against and none of those players are quality. We just can’t compete with that level of spending, and those teams are the ones who will probably be fighting relegation. The premier, league will always be the attraction for any decent player with the wages that are on offer, as I said in an earlier post some days ago Smith from Huddersfield chose Stoke over us and champions league football rather than play in a Mickey Mouse league.
