New top leaked and looks horrible.

1.) 21 Apr 2018 00:41:45
I agree Kev. Not a fan of that single button or the white panels on the sleeves. NB have been a bit poor for me, personally.

{Ed007's Note - I'm on my tablet and can't upload pics on it (facepalm) I've messaged Ed033 to do it asap for me in the morning.}

2.) 21 Apr 2018 00:56:54
I gave it a go Ed 🤔.

3.) 21 Apr 2018 07:35:50
I think its a grower, its one of those tops that when you see the team all wearing it, itl look cracking. As always itl look much better without the sponser. Seems to be check or tartan shadowing going through it. The official description also says that comes with green socks, im not sure about that, prefer just plain white socks n shorts. As per, il buy it no matter, and these days its only for 1 season anyway. Overall, i quite like it, after the initial gasp😂🍀.

4.) 21 Apr 2018 07:39:36
The one with the white panels on sleeve is rotten. Could possibly be the 1st time i refuse to buy a home shirt if this is genuine. Surely to god the club have a say on any design, breaking up the hoops even on the sleeve is as bad as having blue and red on the shirt when we had Ford Peoples as sponsor.

5.) 21 Apr 2018 09:41:12
Hate it. The collar is snide. Why don’t we just stick to the round collar? Green socks too I hear. Another mistake.

6.) 21 Apr 2018 10:09:16
I agree Stan, like our history, hoops should not be broken. I didn't know it was green socks either. That's put it from about a 5 down to a 3/ 10 for me. If they wanted a button collar, they should use the same sort of collar as the pink kit last season or at least a proper grandfather collar with two or three buttons.

7.) 21 Apr 2018 10:47:49
Looks better than the leaked photo I seen earlier. I think the sponsor ruins it would've preferred if they had just stuck with the gold print like on the current home strip.

{Ed007's Note - The chequered pattern is very reminiscent of our centenary year top or is it just me that sees that? The neck, again it's a riot, if you have a thick/fat neck like me round necked tops look hideous imo so I won't be buying this one until it's on sale. I'm not spending £60 on a 'sittin' aboot tap'.
Even the collar from THIS Liverpool top would have been better.}

8.) 21 Apr 2018 10:54:44
I loved last seasons it was as close to the 67 kit as you are going to get. I will not be buying this. What are Celtic playing at allowing New Balance to break up the Hoops.

9.) 21 Apr 2018 11:12:04
Should have got Hummel. 😏.

{Ed007's Note - That was never going to happen, according to THIS, Hummel only "focus on the underdogs and characterful misfits of the sports world".
No laughing at the back there!}

10.) 21 Apr 2018 11:39:27
Sitting aboot tap haha.

{Ed007's Note - Like you don't know what I mean lol :-D

11.) 21 Apr 2018 20:34:48
These fitted tops do nothing for my bucky belly.

11 Mar 2018 10:39:11
Looks like DDV is injured and Bain is starting.

15 Feb 2018 16:41:01
De Vries
Lustig Ajer Jozo KT
Ntcham Brown Kouassi
McGregor Forrest

Just been sent this.

1.) 15 Feb 2018 18:22:29
that team looks set up for a draw, Kev; what do you reckon? Need a bit more up top that Jamesy and Mousse.

03 Feb 2018 10:46:10
Social media rumours of Hendry and Musonda starting today. Not sure who would drop out for Musonda but Hendry would make sense as we usually don't risk Jozo on that pitch.

26 Jan 2018 10:07:41
£12m from Brighton is the bid being reported as the one we knocked back for Dembele. If so, it's nice to hear BR say that's nowhere near his value. Personally I wouldn't entertain a penny less than £20m, and at that price I'd want a nice sell-on clause as well. Time to play hardball with these jokers, especially when you look at the boy they've just spent £14m on.

1.) 26 Jan 2018 11:42:06
Theres bang average players going for more than 20 mill time to dig our heels in with these English charlatans look how big Virgil panned out we knew his worth but he had to go to England to merit the huge fee.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 12:26:10
To be fair Locadia is a great player and a snip for £14m considering the pish some of the English players are going for. But £12m is an insult and total waste of time I don't even get why they would waste their time bidding £12m when it has been well publicised that we was valuing him around £30m.

3.) 26 Jan 2018 19:18:35
Surely every club starts low when bidding for any player just to see the reaction. Basic haggling. going by what Rodgers has said it'll need to be a crazy bid to get him in this window.

22 May 2018 15:04:28
Ed, do you know how long Denayer has left on his City contract? It would be a good bit of business if we could get him back.

{Ed007's Note - His City contract runs until 2020, Kev but he's supposedly had a bit of a torrid time over in Turkey and is nowhere near the level he was expected to be at. Didn't he have a pop at the quality of the Scottish game?}

1.) 22 May 2018 15:30:05
Read a few things saying he improved as the season went on ed?
Ye he definitely got stuck in to Scottish football when he left.

2.) 22 May 2018 20:18:20
A couple of seasons in Scotland didn’t seem to do big Virgil much harm, maybe Jase was a wee bit to big for his boots.

3.) 22 May 2018 20:37:50
I just remember reading that we had made a late bid for him last season but he went to Turkey instead. I’m aware he won the league with Galatasaray and tbh it never crossed my mind that he might not have been a big player for them. A shame if so.

08 May 2018 20:10:25
Good to hear BR say that our plans never have or never will depend on Sevco. They will do a lot of business in the summer and naturally that will bring out the usual moaning gits in our support who don't understand that they have to buy, buy, buy whereas we don't. We should be looking for 3-4 quality signings and to ship 5, 6 or 7 our the door. No major surgery is required on our squad.

1.) 08 May 2018 21:01:46
Spot on Kev. We have seen plenty Rangers signings in last 2 seasons. Now further back than ever. Hope SG brings in 4 or 5 Liverpool youths. Watching Aberdeen and Gers. Put a few young boys in there and they will get smashed. Can see why Charlie Mousonda didn't cut it. All we need are 4 quality players but quality and we are away again.

2.) 08 May 2018 21:16:20
Is 4 in and 7 out not major surgery?

3.) 08 May 2018 21:33:48
Potential probable rumoured leavers

Shevvy. boyata. simo. commper. gamboa
Roberts. rogic. armstrong. allen. sinclair. musonda. dembele. eduard. cifti.

I think dembele. eduard (on loan) . and Sinclair Will still be here .

Is Bain signing enough at goalie?

out of the defenders none are a great loss apart from the amount leaving . two cbs in needed and another left back

if we sign mginn as touted defensive mid is well covered

Is Christie a playmaker or winger? can he cover take over from Armstrong rogic or Roberts leaving? Can mgregor cover playmaker role? . a playmaker imo then needed. i also think Mikey Johnstone is better than musonda

Wingers can Christie and Morgan johnstone. cover the loss of Roberts? Would Roberts oust Forrest? good thing here most of the players we have in wide areas can cover both wings and if Roberts is bought we will be well covered in the wings

As I said I think dembele and eduord will stay so with griff and young aitcheson imo no other striker needed

Bit scattergun I know but watching football on mute listening to music and trying to write this at same time so be easy on my rambling.

4.) 08 May 2018 21:56:55
@Stan, no.

5.) 09 May 2018 09:21:36
Kev i was a tadge confused by your comment, i think we would all love a good few ins and outs but easier said than done, especially getting rid of the players who are either not playing or just simply not good enough. Time will tell i am hoping we get Rogic, Roberts and Edouard signed up asap so we can then concentrate on elsewhere.

07 May 2018 12:48:09
I'm one of the first to have a go at Boyata on here when he makes mistakes so fair play to him with the goal yesterday. Unbelievable finish from the big man.

{Ed007's Note - I said on the live chat yesterday that Dedryck had been immense (I actually said imperious but I don't think anyone knew what that meant) yesterday and last week.}

1.) 07 May 2018 13:01:09
Unfortunately for me it’s too little too late and he’s probably playing for a move elsewhere. He had a good spell last season but apart from that he’s never shown any consistency, other than consistently being a bomb scare.

2.) 07 May 2018 13:35:17
I always felt he was trying too hard when he 1sr arrived, but I think his best position is where he played yesterday, a run of games, and a couple of goals gives strikers confidence, and I hope we can sign him up 👍.

3.) 07 May 2018 13:49:04
I think boyata's major flaw is his concentration. I think his mind wanders when we are on top of teams.

4.) 07 May 2018 13:49:43
When he is at it and not doing silly stuff he is a good defender, Europe might be a problem, but on the whole good. Partnerships in there take time, all the great pairs played together for years. Ajer, given time and experience, will be a top class centre back.

5.) 07 May 2018 15:38:56
Heh excuse me Ed, I complimented you on your big word even though it was a Sunday :-P.

{Ed007's Note - That doesn't mean you knew what it meant though.}

6.) 07 May 2018 16:45:41
It means he strolled about like a big chief boss way they big hard imperial mints in his pocket does it no Ed :-D.

{Ed007's Note -

7.) 07 May 2018 18:16:52
Has the makings of a really good CB. Quick and powerful but just lacks a bit of concentration. Whether it be hough a sloppy pass or positioning but his recovery tackles are right up there too. But really needs to be able to paas the ball better than he has done.

8.) 07 May 2018 20:28:53
It's only a few weeks since he was 'public enemy number one' - making stupid mistakes, causing panic and gifting goals and although he has shown that he can be a decent player - when he wants to - he can be a serious liability against decent forwards.

9.) 07 May 2018 22:02:07
Sorry my post above was meant for a thread about Edouard, I thought I saw earlier, either that or I’m losing the plot 😁🍀🍀.

10.) 08 May 2018 00:06:54
Qui have backed and supported Boyata for ages . I see him as a good young Althetic type centre half and boy did he not score a wonderful header on Sunday .
Sheer brilliant.

11.) 08 May 2018 16:27:02
Boyata sells jerseys and cannot be trusted. When he’s on form he looks brilliant, but, he always makes a right roaring Gareth hunt of it in big games.

His concentration slips. His judgement at vital moments is awful. I see what everyone says about him when he’s on form, it’s the compulsion to sell jerseys that tells me, he isn’t the answer going forward. Neither is Hendry Comprare.

Critical position and big Deryk is too much of a risk.

06 May 2018 13:11:30
If I was a cynic, and Craig Levein was a *****, I'd suggest it's almost as if he's set this Hearts team out to kick Scott Brown all game.

1.) 06 May 2018 13:41:37
Apologies for the language Ed 😂.

{Ed007's Note - :-D

2.) 06 May 2018 14:31:18
Kev Craig Levein did indeed send Hearts out to put the boot in with special attention for Scott Brown.

3.) 06 May 2018 18:45:18
I don't think Craig Levein has ever gotten over 1986 and that is why he is so bitter towards us. While he is in the dugout for Hearts I think we should make special mention to it every time we play them. Green Brigade TIFO and an Albert Kidd chant should do the trick.

03 May 2018 17:08:30
When pre-season comes around I'd like to see Lewis Morgan given a real chance on the left of the 3 to see how he copes. It's a position up for grabs due to Sinclair's up and down form and Morgan is tricky, a good crosser with both feet and scores plenty of goals. He'll be buzzing with his big move and out to impress. He should hopefully be able to perform well against the level of opposition in the first 2 rounds especially.

1.) 03 May 2018 18:50:39
I must have missed Sinclair’s UP’s this season Kev. ☘️.

2.) 03 May 2018 19:16:56
17 goals and 16 assists are Sinclair’s ups this season JFP.

3.) 03 May 2018 19:20:33
They were early doors to be fair haha. Pretty sure he’s still our top scorer actually.

4.) 03 May 2018 20:03:38
He certainly doesn’t stick out for me this season. Is 17 goals from a £4m player from the mighty EPL playing up front in what they regard as the nonentity of the SPL which could reasonably be expected from a top class midfielder exceptional? If he’s our top scorer that’s even scarier. I’m trying to think the last time I thought he played a blinder? Must have been away from home as I’ve not missed one. Average and piss poor would have been my first thoughts particularly given the heights he reached last season. Ach we’ll opinions are like arseholes we’ve all got one. ☘️.

5.) 04 May 2018 04:07:06
Found it a wee bit harder this season as every team stuck 2 or 3 players on him as soon as he got the ball.
For having a piss poor season the boy did not to bad in my eyes.
Maybe we should sign the Sloth as he scored more than wee Scott, Oh no wait, Scott is a winger not a striker and has a lot more assists.

6.) 04 May 2018 11:32:57
Also puts in a good delivery. Genuinely can't remember last time we scored a header from a set piece.

7.) 04 May 2018 16:10:59
I think it was big Roddy McDonald against Rangers in the 80’s when we last scored from a corner. I was there, was a belter.

Swiss International, European experience, seems to score a good amount of goals from CB and at 26 is probably just coming into his peak. Ticks a lot of boxes.

Would we have first refusal on the permanent move? If not I don't see any benefit to another loan deal.

There's a picture that appears to show Salah grabbing a hold of Ramos' arm first and then the injury was to the opposite shoulder from the way he landed. He definitely wanted to leave one on him though, no question.
