Genuine question, why would St Mirren sign Kwon on loan? On what basis? YouTube footage, info From Celtic, really struggling to see the logic in that from them. Hopefully works out well for all but let's say I'd be surprised.

Ajer went to Killie and it worked a treat, Christie went to Aberdeen and it worked a treat. If he’s going out on loan I’d rather it was Scotland so us fans will get an idea of how good he is. I think it’s a great move for the boy. He’s got ambitions of play in the PL so probably doesn’t want to go home like for example ideguchi.

My point exactly DRB. Least they had knowledge of how its gone for him taking step upfrom "junior " standard league.

He looked decent on YouTube and maybe like Ajer, Christie and our captain, a loan with more game time than he would get here, can move him towards a first team performer. It can only be good for him.

Maybe he impressed St Mirren scouts during Forrest's testimonial ?.

As much as I complain about our transfer model, of what we have signed, I've got a wee feeling Kwon will be one that comes good.

On face value we signed a player from the Korean 2nd division, when what we need is a player ready to walk into that anchor slot at CL level.

We had (still have? ) people at the club, who were in the know when it came to that region. We could have went for any player in the top flight there and got them. But we went for him. He was also still being called up by the national side at his age level.

Moving from Korea to Scotland must be absolutely mental at 22. Moving to St. Mirren will at least help him get used to the fitba.

I read Chris Suttons piece yesterday. He goes on about 3 types of players for sale at this type of year, firstly ones playing out of their skin and costing a fortune, second are experienced players not getting game time, so why aren't they getting that, are they not good enough for game time at their clubs, and the third, young players trying to break through.

He is explaining why it's difficult for Celtic and BR to get it right.

As he said Ange managed it with Reo and MOR, neither were playing regularly but now both are great players.

Did Ange identify them and if so what did he see in them and can BR do likewise. I know BR has done it before with Moussa and Sinclair etc, so I have no issues there.

Surely big Chris just needs to look in the mirror to see that changing a players career path is possible, it's about timing, the right Manager and team at the right time.

Some players flourish anywhere whereas some need the right environment, to feel wanted.

Hopefully Kuhn fits in and hits the ground running. He is playing well but isn't costing a fortune, so by CS theory is he deemed a risk.

I don't think so, both Hatate and MOR cost a lot less and they have been successful.

Both strikers we have been muted as being interested in, the lad at Bronby is too expensive for what I have seen and SVH I haven't seen enough of to assess he could be made into a quality player.

I have only seen mention of 1 left back and comments on that Portugese player have went cold.

Hopefully the club are keeping names close to their chests and things are in the pipeline.
