Do you mean who or what position? If the latter, Goalie, Left Back, Defensive Midfield and Striker.
Just how bad does Taylor have to play to get dropped? BR needs to make his mind up, if he wants a defensive LB pick Scales, if attacking Bernabei. Taylor is neither, just a tidy wee player, well short of Celtic standard. I know Scales was iffy defensively when initially played for us but he seems to have improved that side of his game with a year at CB for the sheep. I doubt Armstrong would have tried the cheap shot against him?

During his first spell BR's transfers were a mixed bag but there were a few successes like Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts, Philip Benkovic and Odsonne Edourade; while Olivier Ntcham had decent spells before he chucked it. Any three similar to the above named and a decent young goalie would be ideal and get Jota back as I've just read that he's out of favour in Saudi for some reason?

Tom Krauß, CDM, 22, Mainz. They just paid £4-5m for him. I'm sure he was top for tackles in the Bundesliga last year. Would also add much needed physical presence.
Livakovic. Only seen him for Croatia the odd time but he seems to have a bit pedigree and there's lots of people excited about this potentially being a deal so why not.
Read he was available for several million. Some people will have a heart attack given that he's got no real sell on but if we're to do anything in Europe we need a forward like him.

Sad thing is everyone says a new GK and a left back almost all have said this from day one that Rodgers came in the door We all can't be wrong can we? Yet nothing has been done about it it's clear where we need upgraded yet nothing. I just wonder why? It really does look like the last time he was here. Where as when Ange was here most signings were done at the start of the window.
{Ed007's Note - Not everyone said we needed a new LB, Greg Taylor massively improved under Ange and was outstanding for Celtic last season, he was nominated for our POTY last year and was named in the PFA Scotland Premiership TOTY. If we're judging him as not good enough for the CL then I'll throw CalMac into that mix who struggles in Europe and was embarrassingly bad last season, if we're judging Taylor on his start to the season we can throw more than half the team in there with McGregor leading the list of underachieving and a very poor start to the season.

You are correct Ed But Rodgers plays a different style than Ange and so far Taylor is the week link IMO and I can't see Heart playing from the back as much as Rodgers is looking for. Yes we have brought players in on the last day or close to the last day but the spine of the team were in at the start I am sure?
{Ed007's Note - Maybe CalMac can't play in Rodgers system and he struggled under Ange's system in Europe as well. He's been as poor as Taylor so far this season but seems to get a bye from the support.
That yesterday was THE worst performance I've seen from a Celtic captain in many a year. Where was our captain yesterday when we needed him to pull the team together and lead by example, did you see him bawling players out and driving them to get stuck in?
People blaming the pitch, the ref, even Daddy Lawwell because we can't beat Kilmarnock, are they serious? Even blaming Rodgers is a bit crazy, the only people to really blame for yesterday is the players on the pitch, all of them and that's down to them and the captain, he showed no leadership at all.
It's all fine and dandy going up to collect trophies but does McGregor know a captain's job when you're in the trenches like yesterday?
There was a time on this forum I was like a lone voice sticking up for Scott Brown when plenty of fans wanted him out the door but I'd have happily gave my left bollock for a Broony type of player AND captain out there yesterday.}

I've said we needed a new LB for years, i'm sure he's a great wee lad around the dressing room but he's too small and too slow to play LB domestically never mind anything else. The way AP played suited him but he's badly exposed by any quick wide man. It's like we are signing as many good young players with potential as we can in the hope that 2 or 3 of them will make us a nice profit. Time for some quality.
{Ed007's Note - Yeah he really showed last season that he wasn't good enough domestically when he was voted the best LB in the league.}

Ed007 open your eyes fella, different system, different result. Since the first game of pre season any player quicker than him which is every player has skinned him. When he's inside his lack of pace is mitigated but at LB he's like a sitting duck. I would be stunned in BR doesn't bring in a proper LB like similar to Johnston, If he doesn't bring in a new LB then maybe I am wrong and Taylor is indeed a quality LB, come back to me in 10 days.
{Ed007's Note - Change the name to McGregor and position to CM/CDM and you can say the same about McGregor, he's been that poor since preseason maybe he can't play in Rodgers system either }

Totally Agree ED. Broony would have put one of the Kilmarnock players up in the air and then demanded a response from his team. Cal has been superb for us but there is definitely something amiss this year, he has looked a yard off the pace in every game. We need to start Yang, young, raw yes but at least he wants to take on his opponent. he did more in the time on the park that Maeda and Abada combined. work to be done but it may be a good reality check. better now than later when it could really matter.

You could be right Ed we will see. When I looked at our team last season I saw genuine quality in only six players CCV, Johnston, mcGregor, Hatate, Jota and Kyogo. As long as those six were playing I wasn't worried about the other positions. It's telling that only McGregor and Kyogo were playing against Kilmarnock and it showed in our performance. I also agree with what you say about McGregor he has been very average this season so far along with too many others.
{Ed007's Note - I said on the podcast the other night, the only 2 players I would give pass marks to on Sunday was Haksa and Yang. The biggest sting was it was a cup game, I think that's added a lot of fuel to people's reactions.
We need to just make sure we keep that points gap this weekend and we see a reaction from the players, hopefully Sunday was a wake up call.}
