Unfortunately I don't see a lot of Scottish talent in our opposition that are far superior to what we have and possibly could cope with the demands expectation and pressures of playing for Celtic.
McGinn was probably the one that got away, although I've seen posts on here advocating Ferguson of Aberdeen as a similar type?

Ferguson is not good enough for us. Ange has an idea of who he likes and who can press for 90 minutes, any mention on social media as per Ferhat etc is nonsense. Ange doesn't gives names away and he doesn't like prime donna's so unless Anges mentions the names I'm not interested. HH.

Sorry Ed, too many beers. I am not a Ferguson fan but I appreciate that others like him, so I will accept that he could do a job for us. I do not like mentioning other team players because Ange always surprises us. Again no offence to all our posters.

Rogic done not too badly under Rodgers too. He only started to go backwards under Lennon. It’s amazing how a change in manager and different training methods can impact a player.
Ferguson does well in a pretty poor team. I reckon a move to Celtic with Ange there would bring him on a ton and help him realise his full potential.

Bit late to this thread Ed but see u talking up Lewis Ferguson a lot!? Could u see it happening? Don’t care about his da and uncle sideshow. just wondering if he is in our radar?

{Ed007's Note - I think there was a window of opportunity when Celtic could have got Lewis Ferguson but I think that has passed and he will be looking to move to England in the summer. There is still bad blood between the Ferguson camp (Lewis, his dad & his agent Bill McMurdo) and Aberdeen over their refusal to accept a £2 million bid by Watford last summer and they supposedly broke promises they had previously made so Lewis put in an official transfer request which was also reject by the Dons board.
Ignore all the nonsense about the Ferguson family, both Derek and Barry have said they would have no problem with Lewis signing for Celtic, and I'm sure that Barry's Celtic supporting - and Catholic - wife & kids would be delighted.}
