Thought I would cheer everybody up with the news that West Ham AND Crystal Palace are weighing up offers for Ambrose, looks like 2015 could be great year for all Celtic fans if he leaves and we make some money yippee
Please form an orderly queue to drive him down south

And don't be surprised if he thrives down in England. In my humble opinion he actually has all the skills to be a top defender. He is fast, athletic, good in the air, can tackle, has actually got reasonably good ability on the ball. The thing that let's him down is the mistakes he makes which usually turn out costly. Others must see the abilities and think that the mistakes can be coached out of him, maybe turning a player they spent a couple of million on into top defender that they can sell on for profit. I agree markie, you get the impression that if he could cut out the schoolboy errors, he could be a half decent player.
He would have to learn quickly in that league though, the strikers in that division, would really punish the type of mistakes he makes here.

Sorry Timalloy would not be a great year for me if he leave's at least he want's to be here unlike VVD, who in my opinion has cost us goals by his attitude that someone else will do it

I'd rather have 11 players who gave their all for the shirt every week than 11 who do what they can for themselves to get a move for better financial gain. Who is more likely to be loyal to Celtic. Ambrose or VVD.? We are all Efe Ambrose ;)

For a long time I have felt that he would be far more effective in a midfield role where any errors are likely to be less critical. On the odd occasion when he goes forward he has shown excellent dribbling skills and adds to our attacking moves.

Agree with you cujimmy CDM is more suitable his pace and strength would provide good cover. He's no CB. I posted last week QPR and Leicester were after him West Ham have denied their interest

I think ambrose has the potential but maybe at DM! The criticism of VVD I think is outa order and his quality is really underrated! He's a class above anyone in our league and if your good at your job would you not like to play against the best! let's face it PL will be looking to sell t the right price probably banking on it!
