Last season we knew what areas needed strengthened and apart from maybe centre back, none of them have been strengthened.

Considering, we have just raked in around 30 million in transfer fees and had our most successful year in terms of revenue. I think it is valid to ask the board why have we got a negative net spend and why have we not strengthened the team yet?

To me it looks like they are sleeping at the wheel and have done the manager and the fans a huge disservice.

If they want to avoid a fan's backlash and redeem themselves, they had better get the finger out and sign us and the manager some top class players, none of this loan pish, unless it has an option to buy and they are a cut above what we have.

Sadly, even if they do deliver the players but we somehow lose the league, I can see there being a massive backlash on them, for leaving things to the last minute.

The window has been extremely underwhelming so far Joe, don't think anyone can argue with that but we might be singing a different tune come Friday night. Or not.

Whether we sign players or not…. Surely the plan wasn’t to leave things till the the second last day of the transfer window? I could see that if we were liking to add one player, maybe even two. Given, most of us feel we need to bring plates in defence, midfield and attack. We look very lacking in physicality and dig.

Can’t work it out. Maybe it’s a high risk strategy to get the right players? We will find out soon enough….

I expected a decent bit of late business but only because I thought BR would be looking to the market he knows best (EPL) . Going by the rumours it doesn't seem that's the case.

In the past I could understand leaving transfers to end of window as you didn't know if you had CL. However, we knew our fate already this season.
