very poor season. were it has all went wrong for me is not letting a few of the want away players go in the summer. to have at least 7 players wanting to leave and most being vocal about it is just stupid and creates a real bad feel about the team. at least 4 or 5 should have been aloud to leave.

from what i hear wee had ntcham eddy bitton Frimpong Julien Christie el hamed. ajar to but i do not think he was being vocal he stayed professional.

looking at it now we should have granted them there wishes and let them leave and we might not be in this positions. and before people comment lennon this lennon that a lot of managers would find it very difficult to get a team going with that amount of players wanting to leave especially when most of them are first team players.

he has been let down badly by a lot of them which has resulted in his fans turning against him and some amount of abuse aimed at him. i hope at end of season when he is gone he will come out and let everyone know how much upset they caused through the season with not wanting to be at our club and how much it derailed our season and for me i would never welcome any them back at celtic park again just my own personal view on it.

its hard to get a job done when your tools are broke.

The question that also has to be asked UI is, why do so many of our first team want to leave at the same time and when we had the chance to make Scottish football history? Only my opinion but i think that a lot of that had to do with Neil Lennon. He has never been known as a good man manager.

Isnt being a good man manager the only thing that NL is known for? Plenty of players that played for him say that!

More money is the answer.

United Ireland fair points there is absolutely no doubt the players need to take a long hard look at themselves and have let the manager down badly. I said a while back the mistake was holding on to the want aways but 20/ 20 hindsight is a wonderful thing. We would have been up in arms if they’d sold our big players in the year we were going for 10IAR and Peter Lawell would have got it tight.

The damage is done now and it’s water under the bridge. We need to rebuild starting with the manager. Livingston and St. Mirren showed what can be achieved with good organisation eleven with limited quality. We’re all over the place no system no structure substitutions are baffling and I can’t remember the last time they turned the game around. Outthought in the reincarnated Rangers dug out and outfought on the park on three occasions.

There are other aspects that are concerning that Neil Lennon can’t be blamed for youth development, recruitment and scouting system. We need a pull through with a Christmas tree as a club and to start again. We’ve been here before and we’ll recover.

Agreed JFP, there's work to be done in order to get the club back on track from a footballing perspective as the comnercial side is very strong.

We've announced a new CEO and if we're serious, a D. O. F. will come in and then appoint the new manager and coaching staff.

As always there's talk of who the new favourite to be manager is, the latest is John Kennedy, I hope it's just media speculation as this would likely mean no D. O. F and for me be another cheap option as well as letting down for the supporters.

I'm not saying we need a 'big name' but it has to be the right appointment. We've had more than our fair share of crap managers so for me this is an opportunity to lay solid foundations for years to come.

@arrowh its no really a hard question that is it mate. same reason dembele left same reason kt left same with Armstrong. i think letting hayes and gordon go has been a massive mistake as well. but at the time it all seemed okay.

a good manager in get the want away moaners out in the summer and add a few strong signings we still have a lot of quality in the squad midfield 3 of turnbull soro and McGregor in a hi confidence Celtic team i am looking forward to seeing them in action when morale is restored

the team just now is very low on morale and it must not be a good feel at the club just now. if ben Davies is joining from what iv seen now and read he looks a good signing strong and knows how to defend so that has started the defence rebuild already try get big ajar to extend contract and give us another season.

UI. As plumber When my tools not working I replace them so I can continue with job Has Lenny been told you will have to get by with tools got or is his misuse of said tools breaking them? Either way has led to botched job in any case the expression A good tradesman never blames his tools springs to mind. there is no other appropriate action other than he goes ASAP. I've given him benefit of doubt for months now. But livi away and that yesterday has tipped me over edge It's not going to improve killie will beat us wed That is unacceptable to any reasonably minded fan What is going on Celtic?

p73. how would your jobs work out mate if your broken tools had to be used for the job and you could not replace them. easy to replace a tool mate not so easy to replace half a football team of first team players in the one transfer window

as the saying goes a good tradesmen never blames his tools but his jobs will never be perfect with faulty tools some jobs he will get through some he won't in till the problem is sorted old tools gone new ones in.

listen i understand a new manager is needed but i do not shy away from calling out the players who have left him in this position once this season is over most of those players will be gone bigging it up at some other club loving there bank balance and not one thought about how our club is doing wile lenny a club legend will be devastated and left with losing the 10 on his mind probably for the rest of his life and a broken relationship with the fans our the club he loves. 99percent of the abuse has been aimed at him and none to the beloved Edouard the big goal machine and the rest of them.

A percentage of these players are foreign and have no connection to the club other than wages, would have some knowledge but no more than for sayAjax
Their emotional attachment is not the same as home grown players like Broon
I believe they were intised here by promises of euro football giving them a platform to shine from, moving on in a year or two. Win win for everyone, club gets a good standard of player in, potential big sell on fee, they get put in the shop window
This process broke down by asking them to stay longer
In short, a bad result is just a bad day at the office for them not the same as seen by the fans.
