I'm happy for Johnny Kenny that he's signed a contract extension that keeps him at the club until 2029.

At 22, having been with Celtic for the past three and a half years, the player scored his first competitive goal for the club in May against Aberdeen.

He may well be an important player to the club moving forward, but right now, this season, this CL campaign (when we qualify) , I believe we'll need far more firepower than Johnny Kenny can provide, or indeed, for that matter, his fellow countryman, Adam Idah.

Kenny must be showing great potential if he’s been given a new contract.
Hopefully with good coaching he can improve a level or two.

Does that mean the reports that Celtic would’ve sold Johnny Kenny for £1 Million are false because why would we given someone a new contract if we felt he was only worth £1M which nobody would pay ( allegedly )

{Ed007's Note - The plan was/is if Kenny didn't sign a new deal he'd be sold but if he did sign then he would go out on loan again this season.}

Adam Idah should at least watch the video of Jackie scoring the 4 against Partizan to show the type of striker he could be.

That makes sense Ed, the bhoy must have something about him.

I take it that Osmund will also be going out on loan?

That would leave us with Idah and Yamada. Could Yamada, with his place, play on the RW?

{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure about wee Donny, Ped he's certainly not came up here to be papped into the B-Team set-up so I think a loan will be most likely.
Nygren's played at RW most of his career so he could probably play out there but Yamada has played out there a few times and his pace might be more effective.}
