is he that bad? I must admit I haven't seen a lot of him play if any to be truthful I know of his history but I would not put that against him every one makes mistakes lol but I would hope that others are not judging him because of who he played for

Re- Wilson, this is the first real transfer test for RD.
With the poss of VVD & Denayer leaving that would leave us Mulgrew and Effe. So I don`t think he is a bad option,( bench or not) i'm sure Rd will have other players in mind along side Wilson.

Why all the negative posts about Wilson??
Yes he played with Rangers ( who cares )
Yes he couldn't cut it at Liverpool ( did he get top coaching and who was he competing with for a place?)
Lastly everyone's now saying RD has done a great job improving our players and all that goes with it .
So why dony we ( if he does go for Wilson ) let him get on with the job and trust in him in what he does??

Nobody cares who he used to play for I know I don't but I just don't think he will enhance the team no matter how great RD is at improving players. I have every faith that RD will have a team that will compete in Europe however that will mean starting with better players than Wilson.

Well said thefalkirkbhoy, Ronny knows what he's doing. He may not get them all right but surely have to get behind any new signings until they actually do something wrong. Wilson has shown in the past that he can cut it in the Scottish Premiership. I wouldn't read too much into the Liverpool spell, it came too soon for him. We could do worse.

i personally think Wilson would be a superb signing…he has had the weight of the world on his shoulders at RFC pre Liverpool, and then the big price tag in a top league . failing to make the breakthrough and then returning north to re-commence his career in a lower league and captaining the runaway train that was Hearts …
the lad has been there, seen it, done it and would view CFC as "arriving" back at the top and he is only 24…good head on young (but very experienced) shoulders…and a mad Tic fan in to the bargain
we should not scoff at this option
