Often wonder why johannsen left us I didn't rate him good engine but lacked commitment to me one of these players who think we're a stepping stone the same way I'll not take to bitton never forgive him for signalling at Hamden against them his hamstring had gone only for us to score n he's running about like a gazelle just something about them as players.

bit harsh there mate. Maybe he felt a pull? As for Johannsen i posted that BR might have made a real midfield tiger in there.

Spot on Da that finished me with Biton too big time. Those of us in the stands would play in that game with a broken leg. He's a big lassies blouse and would have been sold the next day for me after that. Firing squad for desertion in the face of the enemy and shot at dawn. ☘️.

JFP there's your saying you'd play on with a broken leg? Have you ever been in that situation? I have having played pro and semi pro rugby league/ union and I also told the physio my hamstring felt as if it was about to go. You do realise that being injured hinders progress. Think of it this way would you sacrifice your body for a cup win or one day for the rest of your career being below par or never getting over injury. Or would you give up 1 game and have a healthy career?

Toprig my general point is that Biton couldn't tackle a fish supper and in a game against that mob he would be better staying in the house. Heartless and bawless for me. ☘️.

Agree mate on Friday against the sheep we don't have someone in the broonie mode to grab the game by the neck if he's out we need someone of that mould.

I thing most of us would agree that probably all our players are playing better this season than last . In my opinion this is down to the extra self confidence Brendan has instilled into every player . This isn't easy and probably takes up a lot of time .
Surely it must be counter productive for loud mouths in the stands and smart - Alec's in forums to try to undo all the good work by consistently picking on individual players who they don't like the look of .
Da1888, last season many on here had written S Brown off, the standard he has played at this season, we couldn't expect to have a player as good in reserve .

100 points in the bag 99 goals scored, surely we should be thanking everyone for this wonderful achievement and not nit picking.

Think Biton is a luxury player, not willing to graft when the going gets tough, would rather have an on form Johansen any day of the week, who gave his all when fit, an on form Biton is still a luxury player, Johansen's manager in England seems to be handling him properly now, something that was sadly lacking last season.

dont understand why we are putting down celtic players who will do more in 15 minutes for celtic than most of us will do in a lifetime. its pretty poor to turn on our own bitton has scored some cracking goals slows play down but does the donkey work as well.

The real reason we haven't Johanson is he was losing his confidence and hence enjoyment because of some of our fans who have empty brains and big mouths and even want to prove it in writing .
If we have a full squad of about 20 plus players and Bitton contributing the least, then I too will be happy to see him move on. We are far short of that now and we should support him fully and not condemn him because of his fellow Nationalistts.

{Ed007's Note - You're spot on, Chris, it was the treatment by a section of the support that forced Johansen out. Brendan Rodgers wanted him to stay and fight for a place and a new deal but Johansen thought a fresh start was the best for him.
Even after some of our own booing him he has nothing but love for the Club and has said he will be a Celtic supporter for the rest of his life.}
