Why is Emilio not in the match day squad as stated on official website no word of an injury or anything?

They say he broke his hand in Milan and we will miss him badly. We have started the game very poorly and are second to every ball with Bitton losing possession time and time again and to crown it all, Commons is replaced after 10 mins.
Need to snap out of it Celts and get a grip!

Why ambrose at lb instead of Mathews absolutely no balance! Finally punished for never signing a second lb

Yeah we'll miss Emilio for sure. But credit to Ambrose, he did a job in there for us today and seemed to enjoy being in a more advanced position. What a second-half run out today, could have been the routing folks have been predicting.

SOS boy. Ambrose played at left back because Deila wanted to keep as many of his back 6 playing in their normal positions . There is a line of thought that with the more defensive members of the team, you keep changes to the minimum. Moving Matthews to left back and bringing in Ambrose would have been two changes .
