P1sh, not a chance, unless we get him for 2 million

Talk about having a high opinion of yourself! He got his big move to a big club in a big league and guess what he was a big fat flop. So as far as I'm concerned he can beg PL all he wants but I think he'll find his level in the Championship.

@Badbhoy I don't understand your attitude towards Hooper, and I know a lot of people share the same view as you. He gave us 3 wonderful seasons, scored an awful lot of goals and fancied a new challenge, and only after the club agreed to sell him might I add. He was the top scorer for a team that created nothing. He outscored a multi-million Dutch international so he is a very good striker. At no point did he claim to be leaving for a bigger club. This bitterness towards players who leave Celtic from some of our supporters is utterly ridiculous and over the top in my opinion. Great player for us, helped us win trophies, decided to move on to try and win a cap. Alright it didn't work out last season but that shouldn't make you happy you should want him to do well after the good memories he left us. This is only my opinion of course.

Well said kev bhoy & much better than we have

Shocking attitude "badbhoy". Lol

Kevbhoy, he signed a contract and then he didn't want to honour it. Do you honestly think that playing with Norwich increased his chance of winning a cap, it diminished his chances considerably in my opinion, playing with Celtic he would have had CL exposure and his confidence would still have been high. I'm not bitter I just don't want him back. He had everything in paradise and threw it all away.

He was poor in Europe, what we need is a CF with European pedigree not Hooper back to fight it out with Stokes and Griffiths. I think Kris Commons filled the gap left by Hooper competently.

If we could get him back up here I wouod be well happy.
These english lads are brought up believing the bpl is the be all and end all of the game and with it being world cup seaeson he believed he need to play in the bpl to have a chance of getting on that plane. I don't feel any animosity to the guy at all
It didny work out for him and he was unlucky not to get more game time.
If we were to get him back it woupd be a fantastic signing

Would love to see it happen but I honestly don't think it will I'm afraid HH

Well said kevbhoy I totally agree, as for bad bhoy I don't think you know what your saying mate, I respect your opinion but he was hardly crap in Europe if he was the top goalscorer in 2012/13, as for being top goalscorer in all 3 seasons. Look, the guy wanted to go and try and enhance his career but it didn't really work out, he scored goals for us and helped in big matches, so there's nothing wrong than testing yourself in a far more superior league. All it takes is one wonder season down South with a lower team and you would be wright up the pecking order calling for a call up, if for instance, the young lad Saido berahino who plays for west brom scored 25 goals next season, your trying to tell me wouldn't get a look in? Look at Michu with spain, he had a wonder season in his first at Swansea and he got called up so it just depends. I would definetely have hooper back instead of stokes or griffiths as none of them cut it for me

Naw keep hooper at Norwich,
