When John beaton gave the penalty he did not book AJ. This means that he thought the tackle was careless.

Here is how IFAB define careless in the laws of the game:


Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed.

IFAB and UEFA also provide videos of what merits a careless challenge.

As we all know Celtic have contacted the SFA for an explanation of why John beaton was not shown the full video clip when he was called to the monitor. I feel we should also be asking them for an explanation of why they deemed it a careless challenge. Once we have that we should be asking to see the videos provided by UEFA and IFAB on careless challenges. Once we have them we should check with the Irish FA that the videos match the ones they got.

Even if we don't catch them out this time making stuff up, if we continue to put them under that much scrutiny it will only be a matter of time before they either stop their cheating or we catch them out lying.

I'm glad they have contacted them - although it changes not a jot. Beaton's absurd free kick and yellow card quota was also biased. Celtic also need to vehemently challenge the assault on JK and the bottle thrown at MOR as these are recurring dangerous incidents that appear to be covered up and therefor encouraged by the police, stewards, SPFL, SFA and UK media. No wonder we are called paranoid.

There in no way l would allow any sevco fan into Celtic Park, absolute disgrace, a bottle getting thrown at a Celtic player, things getting thrown on to the Celtic Dugout, the Scottish Football Authorities do nothing about this as per usual, turn a blind eye, don't want to critise sevco hooligans, or there players, Celtic F. C would get pulled up for a lot less.

Question when Sevco scored the equaliser about 5 players ran to the crowd, Why were none of them booked for that? Not one Sevco player got booked in the full game we got booked for almost just touching one of them . Was it Beaton marking Celtic players cards to be more cautious a thing he never done with Sevco?

T2B I thought the exact same thing. Bernardo against them at Parkhead was almost like for like there, no? I mean that’s not just bitter or green tinted… literally it’s an exact like for like as far as I can see.
