So, the news or should that be the lack of it coming from Celtic coupled with the media not even speculating re recruitment. Is that a good sign or a bad? Answers on a postcard to the Celtic boardroom!

Every Rodgers transfer window I can remember has been dire. Apart from dembele when he first came. They have been murder. I expect rushed loan deals in last day as usual. Board seem unwilling or unable to back him. But look at his history over Swansea. Liverpool and Leicester more misses than hits. Anyway hope I'm wrong.

The Celtic fans would do a better job than our recruitment team in the last few seasons.

We wanted Ferguson, Toney, Doig or Hickey, Shankland or Miovski, The Croatian keeper and maybe McKenna.

No club could seriously let their fans recruit players in every window, it may work out for a window or two before fans would start getting jealous other and creating arguments over those selected . It was tried in England or / Wales with fan ownership but it didn’t work out . A club might have just as big a problem with too many bought in than too few . We haven’t an idea how many if any our recruitment have listed for Nicholson to buy . If Peter L was in charge of closing sales, no doubt he would be coming in for a lot of abuse for only one player signed with 8 days left . Who is to say that PL and Nicholson and whoever else responsible for closing sales would have signed of those Buzz bomb has listed, we don’t even know if Manager would have wanted anymore than 1 or 2.
