We were posting about players past and present recently and I know this is an unusual opinion.
A player I really appreciated for his work and skills was Gordon Strachan. He was with Dundee and Aberdeen and always stood out. Neither Celtic nor our Derby rivals seemed to show interest in him. Always thought he would have been a fine asset for us and never understood why no one made a move. Man U and Leeds got great service from Gordon.

I thought Strachan stood out for Scotland at the World Cup in 1986.
