Bain has been given a new contract. That's a bit disappointing to hear, let's hope it's with the intention of him going out on loan because otherwise there's a problem somewhere. The young keeper deserves his chance and Siegrest is surely still no 2 when fit.

Putting him on loan is a waste of money. I'd rather the young keepers
going out on loan and gaining experience. would he have been free agent? . could it be that if there was genuine interest in him from teams down south a new contract
ould help get a bigger transfer fee?

I won't rubbish on Hart but I'd be happy if we freshened things up in that position next season. Along with a few others if you don't think things have went a little stale you're deluded.

In his entire career he has played 2 Europa League qualifying games conceding 3 goals in them and that qualifies him to be the No1 for our Champions League campaign.

JH ain’t the perfect goalie but he’s added something not just on the field but off it too to our club and deserves the position of Number 1. Until someone can come and take it from him.

To say Siegrist should be number 1 after playing at Celtic for 1 season and making 2 league cup appearances and being injured for 3-4 months is just ludicrous. He may be a great Celtic goalie but as it stands he hasn’t shown or been able to show he is.

I would be surprised if Siegrist plays for Celtic again . He seems to be a non person of late, it’s a long time since I heard that he was out for a few weeks.
