It's something strange we have to build ourselves Into this champions league to play the best and not get pumped it's awesome celtic are some team real Madrid did not pump us they had to play celtic were awesome well done 3 nil long way to go boys were excellent not over yet.

{Ed007's Note - We showed Real Madrid in the first half that they had a game on their hands and with a bit of luck we could even have had what 2 or 3 goals? Second half Madrid stepped up their game and showed their class and perhaps we seen the difference in fitness/conditioning levels between what we are doing and the very top of the tree. I'm not going to blame any Celtic player for anything tonight as I think everyone of them to a man should be proud of the way they played tonight against the European champions.
We can take pride that a team Ange has built in a year stood our ground against the current European champs with 14 EC/CL league titles to their name and at the weekend we beat the supposed "most successful Klub in the world" without ONE single EC/CL title to their name 4-0.
It's been a disappointing night no doubt but overall I think it's been a good few days for the majority of Celtic fans.}

Good reply Ed.
I can’t wait for our next match against Livingston because I love watching this Celtic team.
I enjoyed the interviews after the match and the analysis from WGS, Michael Owen and Chris Sutton.
I’ve always preferred watching BT Sports.

{Ed007's Note - Apart from decisions made in 2012, Buzz ditching BT Sports and scrapping the reserve league are the biggest blunders the people running the Scottish game have made. BT were like a breath of fresh air that added a bit of quality and even razzamataz(?) with their presentation and pundits.
Now as I mentioned a few weeks ago about TV rights, how can the SPFL sign a TV deal without OFFC yet Celtic can't sign one without the SPFL?}

First goal was always vital but this is a very experienced real team they knew the way we play high intensity and it would take it's toll McGregor shot goes in or meada then we have a chance but when they took the lead they know how to play it they've been there many times but we have a great team in green and white after just one season ?.

Tonight was a reference point to see how far we've come . it turned into a what if / if only night which considering our position before ange is quite something . the red bull shaktar games will give us a clearer picture of where we are and what is needed going forward.

Patrick,
The first goal was always going to be crucial.
The Flashscore review, mentioned that the team who scored the 1st goal in Real Madrid’s last 8 CL away matches, went on to win the game.
That’s their last 9 CL away games now.

I felt that the whole way through the match I was especially nervous 35-halftime because I felt we needed to recharge then comes the meada chance but I am proud we went toe to toe with the best in Europe on to to has Poland next week ??.

the team and the fans were great, we played as well as we could, thought it was when we started to feel the effort the players put in that then allowed them a bit more time and that let them show the class they have, i'll tell you what though not one team will relish playing us.

I don't think we embarrassed ourselves in the slightest. I thought we gave a really good account of ourselves and on another day we could've been 2 up. First half we were the better team but class and quality told in the end. Definitely heading in the right direction. Dust ourselves down and get 3 points at the weekend.
