Great window overall. As much as I was hoping Christie would sign a new contract, going to Bournemouth shows what really motivates him.

Ange has 2 weeks now to work with a lot of the squad that aren't on international duty and hopefully get the players back to full speed. There was a lack of energy in the team on Sunday and seemed to be a game too many after playing so many fixtures in a short space and getting used to the new intensity of Angeball.

Galway bhoy, like yourself I would have liked Christie to have signed. Apparently he has only gone for 3grsnd a week more on wages, if that’s true I would say it means he wants to tear himself in another league, rather than greed. However we won’t ever really know.
Regarding the point where the team looked flat or tired, I’d agree. The high intensity football we are attempting is draining on the players, that’s why I would have preferred a couple more players in to help with that. Hopefully we can keep up with the pace until Christmas and hopefully get a few in then to help push us over the line .

Aye and to a 2nd tier English team that look bang average what I've seen of them.

I don’t have any issues with Christie over where he has gone or how much for or even whether it is for ambition or cash but I do have major issues with him and several others who downed tools while taking a wage that any season ticket holding supporter would be over the moon with. That part, to me was unforgivable. Between them, they blew probably the last chance in my lifetime to make history with the 10.

Quinn, I could understand if it was a top tier league and he wanted to prove himself but going to the championship just doesn't seem right to me

Arrowh, absolutely agree and hopefully Ange is rid of all the ones now that don't want to be there like he said he would.
