For Celtic to win a Quadruple treble is truly remarkable.
The magnificent Celtic teams from the 70s should have won more trebles.
Including 1970 to 1974 Celtic won 5 league titles and reached all 10 league and Scottish cup finals and yet we failed to win a single treble in that period.
Our club were good enough to reach a few European cup semi finals in those 5 seasons but we never won a domestic treble.
That’s why winning our recent 8 cup finals in a row on top of our league titles will always be special and will never come close to being repeated.

I remember those amazing days when it was not just expected for Celtic to win - but win by how many during that first 9-in-a-row.
However, as you say, Amazingly I saw us losing a few league cup finals and also Dryburgh Cup finals at Hamden in those days, even with possibly the best team we have ever had.
This is an unbelievable achievement and should be hailed as such by all of us; because there are those in a much less fortunate position who cannot appreciate such a prolonged period of utter domination - or even a single trophy to polish on a cold winters day.

Winning so many domestic honours whilst doing heehaw in Europe, only tells you how poor a level, domestic football is at the moment, in the last two cup finals, the league cup and this Scottish cup, the best team lost, there is a common denominator in these games and if Lennon keeps picking similar teams,10 in a row, will be lost .

Ive always said Europe is our barometer, yes we can lift trophies all day long and of course they are important but we never find out how good we are till we play in Europe.
If we get a team capable of getting into CL and competing in the group stages then we have a team that's more than capable of winning the league, and u get the bonus of all the money and better players wanting to come.
So Pedro I ask you this.
What plans have you got to get to the CL as we have failed miserably lately and we constantly go into qualifiers under prepared.
