Yes NL has to go, but can anyone make a case for us salvaging this league position.
Please ed make a case because I am toiling to make one.

{Ed007's Note - The league position isn't that bad, fans need to stop spending so much time concentrating on what TRIFK are doing.}

If we can get someone in too steady the ship eds right the league position isn't too bad. If we win the 2 games in hand it's only 5 points. But the longer we wait to make changes the worse it will get. We will not win it with lennon in charge. The players have massively down tooled for him and clearly will not play for him. I've defended him, but its undefendable now. It's time for Lennon to go before it is too late. But I fear because of the violence outside celtic park the board may be stubborn and not want to give in to those wee neds.

{Ed007's Note - Lennon could sort it out, Milan on Thursday is a dead duck (but I'm already dreading the live chat 😥) so get a team on the park that have the guts for it, if Turnbull iand LG are available then he plays, get the likes of Welsh, Luca Connell, Henderson etc etc on the park and tell them they're playing for a starting slot against St. Johnstone, tell them to show some grit, determination and fight and force Lennon to make BIG decisions - the old pals act isn't working and I don't mean that against the likes of Brown, I mean that Lennon still hasn't been able to stop wanting to be one of the Bhoys and be their boss. I used to party like an animal and go to games and marches with guys I worked with but they knew come Monday morning if I was fit enough to turn up I was their boss and they had to respect that.
If Lawwell and DD are backing Lennon then it's time he called their bluff and said that he's only going to pick players that want to play for him and f**k the wasters transfer fees and egos.
I'd bet Timalloy's last pound there would be a change of attitude from the prima donna's over the next week or so.}

Agree with Ed, league position is ok. We need to win games in hand though. actually been fortunate that a lot of these defeats have been in Europe and todays LC game.

After offering NL job in the shower, has anyone else heard that PL is on a flight to Italy. apparently Paulo DiCanio has just run a bath:)

If Lennon stays I don't see us winning the league.

If we get a tactically astute manager in who the players respect and play for I think we will win the league.

Its all rosey across the city just now but let's see how they handle the pressure come February onwards. We have players who have been there and done it. For whatever reason they are not doing it for Lennon.

Flex our muscle to get the right manager and still got another transfer window I am not that worried about the league position as it stands. My view on this may change depending on who takes over from Lennon.

The season is far from over but only if something is done very soon in my opinion.
There seems to be a complacency from the boardroom down to the playing staff for a while now and the lack of fans inside the ground only seems to add to it.
After every disastrous result fans are looking for the club to do something to show that they are dealing with the situation but nothing seems to happen. Every game we play at the moment seems worse than the previous one. A week ago it seemed a bad result at Hibs, on Thursday we were worse against Prague, and now we are losing at home to Ross County.
I'm not saying we have a divine right to win any of these games but we do have a right to expect a level of performance from the players which has been missing for most of this season.
A lot of fans have paid out hard earned money to buy season tickets when it's likely most of them won't get to a game this season. In return for this gift it's surely not too much to ask that everyone at the club does their utmost to repay them.

Can't afford any slip ups up until the game with them need max points otherwise NL has to go. He should be punted already. If we manage that and a win against them then it's looking like the league is back on. They have tough Jan fixtures and we will have our games in hand done by then. They're only cruising because they have such a healthy gap with our prosponed games the minute we catch back up their arses will go.
