Mrs T read that we are bidding £5m for the AEK goalkeeper and asked me why Celtic are not trying to sign Forster who she read was also available at around £5m and is proven to us.
I explained it is all down to WAGES, this Greek guy will probably be happy with £15k-£20k weekly while big Fraser will want double that and a hefty signing on fee.

It's more than that I'd say Tim. Think he wants to play in the epl. Fair enough but he won't play in Europe.

And the fact that if he performs he has resale value. Forster would have no resale value.

forster wanting money our club can't afford. If we go out and sign the greek boy it would show a bit of intent and clear up the fact we seem to only be linked with loan moves this window.
