John Barnes doesn't half talk a lot of nonsense. Was shockingly bad for us, think we lost 8 games under his reign (not even a full season) and ended up finishing 21 points behind rangers (r. i. p) . He should accept the fact it was nothing to do with colour of his skin, it was how poor a team we played under his reign that got him the sack.

I actually think he is deluded as he claims managers of white race get more time than managers of black race. Its alarming considering fact 9 out 10 of the EPL managers who had shortest reign were of white race.

I hope the club takes action against this claim as it is slanderous and is the exact opposite of what our club stands for.

was a bit annoyed with it myself mate he got sacked because he was not up to the job to manage our club. celtic is a club were every game is a must win even a draw is not acceptable.

He was found out pretty sharpish, after underestimating what a huge job he had taken on. I honestly think the players eventual failure to perform was more to do with his inexperience and tactical ignorance and nothing else whatsoever.
