Out of interest what are people's thought's on why the board are hoarding all that cash?

It kind of doesn't make any sense the less they spend in expenses the more tax they have to pay, I get the fact it is prudent to keep some in reserve for a rainy day. So much though is strange.

I have been wondering the same and it seems like bad management to lose money to the tax man when you could have invested it in the team and potentially got a greater return on the investment.

Celtic should use the money that will generate a weekly future income.
Maybe a hotel.

The Summer window has left a few red-faces and apprehension about our recruitment and I reckon we are suffering the consequences of that with an over-sized squad with too many players that will not attract any significant bids or interest apart from loans and that as we saw with the likes of Barkas and Ajeti, only delays and compounds the problem. On the other hand we can't do our usual annual huge sale, as because of our limitations, we need to keep our best players to maintain some consistency and try to win the SPL for CL entry.
Basically, I have resigned myself to BR having to play the hand he was dealt without complaint as he would have been re-hired under certain restraints and conditions after his last tenure.

All our shareholders and investors want a good return on their money too. So they won't go and over spend to win the league . When they know we probably have more than enough to win it as it is. If our books are good share price stays high . Your no want to go down sevco route and throw multi millions away. But saying that surely we need to stay being more ambitious when it comes to Europe. Sevco have done more since they were created.

We will probably need to pay out for the obvious when we get taken to court.

The Celtic board in my opinion are possibly going to take a massive gamble and not sign a Centre Forward in January, a gamble that Furuhashi will remain injury free till the end of this season, Furuhashi is the only good Centre Forward we have, why Celtic have not signed either Miovski or Shankland, or both, by now only the Celtic board can answer, why not pay a possible £4 million pounds on Miovski, and possibly a similar price for Shankland to get a Possible return of £50-£60 millin pounds of Champions League money.

Ken do you think that is the reason?

I'll tell you I vet it has something to do with it though.
