Nick Walsh will be our 1st referee when VAR is being used in a league match, on Saturday away to Hearts.

Baz : I thinks that’s a good ref for us to get - We all know, we have had some dodgy calls from him. So if he reverts to type VAR “ Should” show him up .

It’s been announced that Steven McLean will be our 1st VAR.
McLean will look over the action at Tynecastle and he will assist Nick Walsh on the field.
Willie Collum will love making history, by becoming the 1st ever VAR in Scottish football.
He’ll be assisted by linesman Graeme Stewart, after both were appointed the Friday night league match.

Well, if ever someone needed some assistance with their refereeing, I think we can all agree that he certainly does. Hopefully it leads to better decision making from the likes of him, but I won't hold my breath.
