Sorry ed, phone rang before I finished and thought I'd canceled. Snp are the best of a bad bunch, but will find it hard putting x against her name.

Not sure exactly the demigraphics of Paisley but I know there's a fair few Celtic fans. As far as political clangers go it has to be up there.

True, she's up against Alexander, she either feels that way , or she's just an idiot. she's a clown, either way. Imagine a ukip or Tory saying similar.

Well Brendan ohara hasn't made friends with the rangers fans either but people just need to forget about what these politics favourite team is lol.

Although I don't agree with the behaviour of a lot of snp supporters the party is the only party for Scotland.

{Ed007's Note - So even when it comes to politics it seems the supporters of Scotland's newest club first instinct is still whataboutery.Brendan O'Hara said nothing wrong and became a target of a witch-hunt led by small minded anti-Catholic bigots trying to get Sevco fans to vote UKIP, it's only in their tiny warped mind the word Hun is sectarian and it obviously doesn't bother you that much, so why even bring it up? I'll never accept being called scum by anyone, how can you expect fairness from people who view you as scum?
Last September was our time to change things, we'd have been voting for our very first fully independent government today if the people of this country had any sort of backbone. No matter who's in power tomorrow nothing will change, it will still be a British government whose only concern is keeping a lid on the sleaze and looking after their own personal business interests.
We'll soon have a shell of an NHS, more foodbanks to help the needy, more pensioners who can't afford to heat their home, more youngster leaving school poorly educated and with no prospects except to go and be cannon fodder in America's next money spinning illegal war, more banks stealing our money, more big businesses stealing money by avoiding taxes while the disabled and dying are told they're fit for work, and if you're 5 mins late for an appointment they'll stop your money for 6 MONTHS! We'll have even more people working and still not able to afford to live or feed their family, zero hour contracts, wages topped up with tax credits, childcare that costs more than what some families earn.
We'll have more and more kids fall victim to sexual abuse and worse at the hands of VIPs, MPs, the Royal family and their friends while small minded bigots refuse to admit the truth about what's going on in case they lose face down the pub with their 'banter' about child abuse, Sevco fans and most Unionists will happily discuss the effects of child abuse, they even like to laugh and joke about it ffs, until you shine the spotlight on their precious Royals - their warped bigotry stops them seeing the truth when really it's the one thing that should be able to unite us all - protecting our kids.
I'd have voted for any party, even Tory or UKIP if they were promising a full public enquiry into the paedophilia at the very heart of the British establishment, how many even mentioned it in their manifestos, they're all part of the cover-up and have been for years, Alex Salmond cut short a vist to somewhere up north last week after he was publically asked about Hollie Greigg.
The country is a $hit hole and no matter who you or I vote for it will still be a $hit-hole in 2, 5 even 10 years time, one way or another the English will make us pay for September..
For people who think that a Labour/SNP coalition will be so great, being part of a coalition hasn't done the Lib Dems any good has it? Will the SNP be the same busted flush in 4/5 years?
At least we can all run about with Better Together flags when Boris Johnson is PM.}

She also said it will be good when the older people die as they are traditional labour supporters. Why on earth are the snp letting a 20 year old to stand when she clearly still a silly wee lassie.

Am a Paisley man , She is a clown! She was a clown before she said it & if someone like that can run a candidate like Alexander close then labour are in big big bother

Plenty plenty Tims through here JT Davie Hay had a pub & a bus that run from here my family had a pub and a bus that run from here historically and a had a pub here in my youth & everybody in the town knows my colours lol!

Thats pretty much it Ed. I know the argument that every vote makes a difference, but do any votes make a difference? I won't be voting. I'm registered and could pop by after work but I really have no faith in any party to actually vote. To my I might as well throw a dart at the ballot slip. I just hope Scotland does eventually vote independence and I'll be straight over the border mooning Westmisnter goodbye.

{Ed007's Note - I can't not vote, my dad would be spinning in his grave if I done that but I've still not decided who, probably one of the smaller parties like SSP or the Greens. Might as well try and save the environment for future generations because we've f***ed everything else.}

Agree with you Ed about voting, we have to vote, it's our right! Jim Tim, I urge you to go along and at the very least, spoil your paper. To not vote keeps the status quo and it will never change for the better. Voter apathy will kill the country off for good. It doesn't matter who gets in all they will do is feather their own nest and see how much they can screw us for. I will vote SNP up here in Inverness-shire for 2 reasons. Reason 1 is the SNP candidate Drew Hendry has a proven track record in office after leading Highland Council so feel he is at least prepared for Westminster. Reason 2 is Danny Alexander. The most annoying politician I have ever come across! I would vote Tory or UKIP if I thought it would unseat this clown (just kidding)!
Go and vote. You might not agree with it but maybe, just maybe we will make an impact.

Ed my point was that no matter what a certain MP thinks about footballs, a club, it's fans shouldn't affect what party you vote for, Brendan ohara referred to fans as Huns, did he think that they would like it lol? No but it won't stop me voting snp.

On the subject of independence, you assume because I support RANGERS(sevco are not a football team surely you know that) you assume that I voted no lmao, I have campaigned for years for Scottish independence me and my friends and local yes team have spent years working for Scottish independence. you tar all rangers fans with same brush child abuse is something I would never joke about and my friends who are rangers wouldn't either. just because I am a rangers fan does not mean I support the union or the royal family or whatever you may think.

Just like all Celtic fans don't fly a tri colour.

My point was don't let the actions of one member of a party affect your vote! And more than just Brendan ohara has spoken out against rangers. You wouldn't like it if someone called you a feni*n may not be derogatory but they are using it that way.

Snp are the only way we will get independence ed and its something I will never give up my dream of regardless of which football club I support.

{Ed007's Note - Of course it should affect who you vote, if someone thinks you're scum you're hardly going to support them or their organisation, a politician that thinks a certain section of society are scum - how very quintessentially British, didn't Enoch Powell feel the same way? Margaret Thatcher with the Scots and Irish? They thought the same in India and throughout the Empire, how many innocent lives did cost? Should we just ignore Farage and vote UKIP, why let what one politician says affect your vote?
I'm sorry to tell you this but we aren't going to get independence any time in our lifetimes, we blew it and a major part of that blame firmly lies at the feet of organisations like the Orange Order and rabbles like Sevco supporters associations (Rangers were liquidated, didn't you notice?) supporters who are happy to bend their knee and doff their cap to an incestuous brood of Nazi German paedophiles and criminals, that's a fact and a look on any Sevco site proves it. They played on their knuckledragging followers bigotry and sectarianism to stop independence.
It's what Rangers and now Sevco stand for, who the hell would be proud of being called The Quintessential British Club, celebrating racism, slavery, mass murder and genocide, ethnic cleansing, drug trafficking, paedophilia, illegal wars, the raping women and kids, the list goes on and on and you're club happily celebrates it all to get the money out your pocket with their cringey Remembrance Day jamborees and OTT celebrations of the illegal wars and mass genocide, you're club celebrates and promotes it all. Just look at the monkeys that posted on your page about the latest inbred drain on our country being spawned, who cares and why do they care, can't they think for themselves? I seen someone, a well known Zombie blogger, say during the Olympics or some other tatty celebration how beautiful Lizzie looks and he had always found her stunning, you can't tell me that any man looks at THAT and says I wouldn't mind a piece of that. How ill in the head must you be to type something like that and what could possibly have been his motives or reasoning?
Have you ever contacted the club to ask them to consider the feelings of supporters like you who are against the Union and the monarchy? If not, why not?
I've never met a Sevco supporter who'll admit to joking about child abuse, so who exactly is singing songs about BJK etc? Haven't you heard the old saying 'If you fly with the craws you get shot with the craws'? For all I know you're saying what you need to say to make yourself look like one of the very few decent Sevco fans out there.
Have you ever stood up and asked anyone to stop singing songs about child abuse or making jokes about it? Show your Sevco supporting friends this and see what they say, send it to your club and ask them why they encourage people to celebrate these type of people - it mentions the Pope as well so that should get them interested.
If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything. I wonder how your standing is on the Sevco page after you're admission of being anti-Union and anti-Monarchy, it must be brutal to be the only person in the whole of Ibrokes not trying to burst a blood vessel singing GSTQ!
I have no problem with being called a Fenian, none at all, but I am scum to nobody.}

I agree 100% with both your posts . They hit the nail on the head and I could never understand how so many decent Scottish voters had their opinions swayed by red herrings raised by the Unionist side and spread like wild fire on BBC and ITV and the usual newspapers .
I know of decent people who were swayed by defence and currency arguments .
What the hell kind of defence would Scotland need , if the ROI can defend itself so can Scotland . Currency concerns are a laugh Scotland could, , on a temporary basis at least align itself to any currency in the World . If Scottish Government asked any Country could it do so , it would be allowed unless there was an anti Scottish reason.
When Bulgaria broke from the Eastern Bloc , the Bulgarian currency was aligned to the United States Dollar .
Your comment about taking the young Scots to war to unjust wars in far off places to
protect the oil barons of America should have been sufficient to mean every man and woman wanting to protect their own .
The Royal family is used to build the tourist trade of London and the South East , however if their sordid secrets come out they will somehow cast their seedy secrets far and wide and Scotland will bear more than its share of responsibility .

I get that Rab. And I'd love the status quo to shift. But there's limited options as to what will realistically happen. And I don't have a great deal of faith in those options. I'm liberal but also anti austerity so it was a flip of the coin between two. But hey at least there's a preference down on paper from me you'll be pleased to know. Guess we'll just see what we're saying in half a decades time. By then the only thing I think we'll know is that we've either been told some porkie pies or let down through failure.
