Some of you lot on here really crack me up! All I ever hear is greetin & wingeing about this that & the next thing! Yes we got beat tonight & have had a relatively poor season. Yes lenny is far from perfect & makes decisions that baffle most of us (i.e samaras), but talk about a knee-jerk reaction over tonight's game! If your going to blame anyone for tonight, blame big Virgil for a ridiculous, stupid sending off before the game had even got going! And blame ref for some shocking decisions! I personally have seen signs of improvement over the last few weeks (cup game excluded). All you ever read on this site is constant negativity, sometimes warranted, sometimes moaning for moaning's sake! Can we not get behind the team?

Rory if u would class this season as 'relatively poor' then i'd fear 2 see what your idea of a really poor season is tbh cause this season has been a total shambles. Out 2 domestic cups at home an abysmal cl showing stale league performances and constant favouritism towards certain players, new signings hardy kicking a ball, apart from fisher ther has been NO youth development in the 1st team squad. Then we are bombarded with this unbeaten league run and clean sheet p1sh 2 try and take the fans focus off the fact that we are rank rotten. If u class all that as a relatively poor season then good on ye mate cause I certainly don't i'd class it as an unexceptable season that both the board and lennon have 2 take the blame for

It's anything but a knee jerk reaction Rory. This is the result of a poor style of play, mindboggling team selections, favouritism, poor use of substitutions, tactical blindness, lack of investment, inability to use fringe/youth players, embarrassing results, among other things. Look at my post about Dortmund's transfer activity, look at Che's post about Olympiakos' finances. As Che said, CL quality players are well within our budget. To say we're exceeding expectations by qualifying for the CL Group Stage is just a lie NL and PL have being feeding the apologists in our support and they're buying in to what they're preaching. These two men are holding our club back, it's time for a change from top to bottom! Fans are rapidly losing interest in Scottish football, some going as far as buying a ST to only go to CL qualifiers, Flag Day, 3 CL Group Stage games and the trophy presentation - no doubt those fans would be at Cup Final's too if our manager knew how to get to one of these. Celtic have reached a UEFA Cup Final and the CL Last 16 on 3 occasions since 2003 through investing in the playing squad, so if Desmond isn't willing to consistently bankroll European football for us after Christmas then it's time for him to go too!

Totaly agree rory, the negativity on here can get to much. Now there's people accusing you of being "pro lenny" lol, because you support your team/manager through thick and thin. Guy's its called being a celtic fan, who cares about wether the board spend 5m or 100k on a player. The quicker Rangers get back the better tbh. Maybe the fans will start showing a bit of solidarity with the manager and players and we can get back to just playing football. Sick of hearing "lenny must go" or "sack the board"

If it's called being a Celtic fan why are you bringing Sevco into it Darren? I've noticed it's all the Lennon/Lawwell apologists that always bring them up, whereas supporters that are screaming out for change are only bothered about OUR club.

There were fans who backed the Kellys and their appointment of Terry Cassidy and we all know how that worked out for them.

So are you a Celtic supporter or a Sevco hater/lover and if it's the former why not just stick to talking about Celtic?

His insistence on playing his favourite players regardless of situation or form....

We went from one of our best ever European results to our worst in one year - against the same team.....

The deterioration of standards throughout the club, on and off the field...

OR and I wonder how many will admit it...

Should we blindly back Lennon because of his Irish background and the fact he has had to face some terrible situations in his personal life from low-life idiots?

I can only speak for myself on the matter Darren, it's nothing personal against Neil Lennon, I just don't think he is capable of taking the club forward and I can't see anything to indicate things will improve while he is in charge.

Would you class this season as a success and are you optimistic about the short term future?

Typical comment from the minority of supporters who have an emotional attachment to lennon and are quite happy to plod along watching the club play poor football, sign players who are nowhere near a standard, hindering youth development and having no clue as to tactics.

Darrenbhoy, it will be a very sad day when a team from Ibrox is ever playing in the same league as us. It will prove that cheating is acceptable and works.

I hope their new club dies too, we have survived and all the other clubs have survived playing by the rules.

No room for cheats, bullies and liars. I hated them in their previous entity, I hate them in their present guise and I hope I never have to hate them in the future. They are dead and can stay dead, burning and rotting in the cess pit sh*t/hell hole that they call the big hoose!

Wow you guys seem mad. I don't know were you got off looking down your noses at other fans tbh. Many people don't care what goes on behind the scene's. You guys are good celtic fans and that's great. But for a lot of us it isn't about the politics between board and manager. We work all week then get to watch our team play at the weekend. We also have a ton of other important things in our lifes and just don't find the time to both support our team and hate the manager/board etc. I thnk many celtic fans are just bored without rangers tbh and are creating drama cause they miss not having any. The football isn't great and I agree maybe it is time for lenny to move on. Its more about the youth situation for me though. I want someone who isn't afraid to blood our youth in games soo we are more like say ajax. We have all the facilities and James forrest is the only one that's made it so far? Mcgregor being sold? watt load and griffths brought in. I have plenty of reason to want lenny to leave, I just don't ram them down peoples throat. Stop looking down on and calling other fans names because they want to support their team a diffrent way from you.

The "Celtic fans are moaning because they miss Sevco" pish is getting old now, as I said it is always the manager/board apologists that bring it up. I support Celtic, that's it for me mate.

You say there are many people who don't care what goes on behind the scenes but I would say there are Celtic fans who are more concerned what is going on at Ibrokes behind the scenes than they are at their own club.

If they put the same effort into looking at Celtic we might not have as many divisions in the support.

The fact there is no Sevco to challenge us just highlights how poor Lennon's trophy return really is.

Finally nobody is ramming anything down anyone's throat, and if passing their opinion means they are then you are doing the exact same. You can't have it both ways and nobody is forcing you to read it.

How are we looking down our noses at fans? You can't expect to have a dig about a post "pro-lennon" and not get a reaction.

Do you think you are the only one who works all week and looks forward to games at weekend? You should care about how club is being run and how money generated from supporters who have worked all weeks money is spent.

I will support any manager who is performing to a satisfactory standard and lennon is not doing this, so you can understand why majority want him out.

It would of been interesting to see your views on subject, when mowbray was in charge.

Bit of a hypocritical statement at end of post. Is that not what you are doing just now? Judging fans on the other side of fence cause views are not the same as yours?

I think we can safely put Rayman into the category of soup-taking blind faith.

The club has never been in a better position, will we just ignore

- No domestic cups, beaten at home by Morton and Aberdeen.

- Dwindling crowds and the day tripping supporters who sit with their half and half scarves, are too busy on Twitter or taking pictures to actually support the team.

- The deterioration in quality of the playing staff.

- Our worst ever result in European competition.

- The divisions in the support.

- The manager's tactical ineptitude.

- The manager's team selection (Samaras last night as an example)

The only good point is the £21.3 million profit that was posted, but anyone with even half a brain can see the only reason we have that money is because the board have not reinvested in the squad to an acceptable level.

Far too many supposed Celtic fans sing from the same apologist hymn sheet;

- We need/miss Rangers/Sevco.

- We don't spend money because we don't want to end up like Rangers.

- We are lucky to just be participating in the Champions League.

Maybe you miss Sevco Rayman but don't tar all Celtic fans the same when there are plenty on here who disagree with you and your PLC apologist agenda.

You can tell every poster on here cares for there club. From those that follow regardless of on field scores and performances to those who pay there hard earned cash and expect a helluva lot more than a league title ( and let's face it, we have the league won before the first game is played ), so cup games and Europe are really the main things to look forward to.

I ( my opinion ) never really cared for Lennon the player never mind Lennon the manager. He may be in some people's eyes a Legend, not even close in mine.

Without the club formally known as Rangers, I am afraid to say our league is poor and that I would prefer them to be in our league as I do miss the rivalry and the great sense of delight after an Old Firm win, even miss the pre match butterflies and the drinking sessions with my mates.

In our league we should really be ultra attacking in everygame. We don't need 4 defenders and one thing for sure is we cannot play with 1 striker.

The only things that will see a packed Paradise on match day 1 next season in my eyes will be a new manager, with a major signing and free flow attacking football

Che, you need to smell the coffee. Every team in every sport NEEDS competition and more important RIVARLY that's where it counts. We don't have competition and you're surprised/dismayed by the staleness of it all but of course we are not allowed to even mention THEM. I bet a few years ago you were raving (quite rightly) to anyone that would listen that the old firm game was the the best In the world.And of course you would have been lookin forward to every 1 o them just like me.So chill mate it will happen soon enough even when they are clearly not good enough itwill still be great takin 5 or 6 off them.Thats when the real fun starts in the meantime we can't win no matter what happens because if we do win the treble they will only say its about time.

The Old Firm was arguably the best derby in the world but, and you might want to sit down for this part, there is NO Old Firm any longer, there is NO Rangers any longer, they were liquidated. We will NEVER play THAT Rangers again.

Do you need a minute for that to sink in?

If you want to aid them in the myth that they are the same team, club or company that is your choice.

Thankfully there are plenty of Celtic supporters that know and accept the truth, and not just about Rangers death but about their own clubs failings as well.

Who knows, when Sevco are eventually in the same division as Celtic you will be able to sit in with the rival fans, there might even be a half and half scarf on sale!

The big question is will you cheer Sevco seeing you are going to be so delighted to see them?

Well said Che, Rayman you really need to reassess what the team that once played out of ibrox would bring to our league. Bigoted bile and nothing else. The fans spoke in 2012, the fans from all the clubs in our division. No one wants them and no one cares about them except a deluded minority.

Celtic players are professionals, they should take pride in their work/game, show a commitment and hunger, show that spirit and resolve we had during our darkest hour.

We are not complaining over results, we are dissatisfied with NL over a huge number of issues, all very valid.

You cite lack of domestic competition as the reason we're so poor, well guess what, Aberdeen are competition, very welcome competition and they don't fear us one bit.

Bad bhoy you say no one cares about playing rangers that is bull. Our club is losing all direction because we don't have a competitive edge domestically the fans have turned their backs in their thousands. Yes there are more issues like style tactics youth gb and spending having an effect but in all honesty the sooner sevco or rangers or whatever you wish to call them are back in top flight the better only when we are challenged will people come back. Aberdeen will probably end up 30 points behind us that's not a challenge.

Rayman and Jim1972, how can you dismiss Aberdeen as not being competition, they've beaten ut twice this season playing the better football.

We are losing direction because our manager is tactically inept and out players are technically inept. Most supporters wouldn't care who we play once they are being entertained.

Maybe the Ed might put up a poll to see if we want rangers or King United or whatever back. I certainly don't want them back.

As far as I can recall Rangers were there too when Morbray was in charge and attendance dropped then too, why Crap football and crap results.

When was the last time a Celtis team really entertained you playing football the Glasgow Celtic Way.

Badbhoy it is easy to dismiss aberdeen they are 21 points behind us and we are under no illusion that we are a good team. Remember in a twelve team league someone must finish second this year it looks like aberdeen but they are not competing for the title. On one off games anything can happen and nl has a record of poor results in cup competitions. I for one would like a change in our approach by bringing in a continental coach as we have become stale and predictable which is why so many people with season tickets aren't turning up . Ps celtic better hope rangers get back ASAP as income is likely to drop drastically if attendances don't pick up which will have an impact on player recruitment and wages and god forbid we don't qualify for cl
