The exact team I would of went with, I was slated for saying drop Hatate for Turnbull as he’s been rotten during pre season, glad that Brendan has seen what I’ve seen, I know Reo scored mid week but his passing has been shocking whereas wee Turnbull always impresses me just love the way he plays the game.

Good to see Ralston starting because he needs game time for the next few weeks until Johnston is fit.

The media will probably speculate that Starfelt and Hatate will be moving.

Bernabei not listed because Iwata and Hatate can play at fullback.

Agree Hatate hasn't been at his best pre season and his head may have been turned, but at the same time, Turnbull isn't the answer going forward.

If Hatate is on his way out the door during this window, I'd suspect he'll be replaced but not by Turnbull.

Good enough coming off the bench domestically but never first 11.

Hatate can have no complaints as he has been woeful pre season, but he is a better player than Turnbull. We play slower with him in and maybe that’s Rogers way, but we can’t go back to his latter period at us when the games were boring and predictable. Today apart from the goals it was back, back, sideways, back back then a crap forward pass. Abada and Maeda if they beat two men the whole game and put in a good ball I must have been having a p iss. Yang needs to start next week for me.
