Rogic signs three year deal. Knew he wouldn't leave. Armstrong won't either.

1.) 02 Apr 2018 22:02:10
Sorry about this, it’s a wind up by some wag on Twitter.

2.) 03 Apr 2018 09:13:19
I doubt if we will secure both of them to be honest. Big Rogic will see out his time, unless he has a storming world cup, and move on he's an Aussie that's what they do. Check any bar in Covent Garden! Seriously i don't expect him to sign an extension.

Armstrong. Bright boy who might just feel the need for a new challenge, the law studies might actually help us here, but i think he would be very selective if he were to leave.

Having said that never discount the BR factor. There seems to be a real strong bond through this team right now so 1-2 big signings might sway it for them both.

3.) 04 Apr 2018 00:06:47
Rogic is certain to sign an extension, if he doesn't get a better offer elsewhere .
If a better offer comes in he will probably go.

27 Jan 2018 10:43:50
It seems that young Mousunda is coming for 18 months. If the latest reports are to be believed. I usually take these things with a pinch of crystal meth, but, I think this could be a runner.

This is the type of quality I think will lift us. I hope it's true.

1.) 27 Jan 2018 11:07:03
Think that will be the end off rgic, he'll b away in summer then tat gives us a year to find a replacement for musanda.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 11:16:00
Rogic is class and if anybody is leaving it will be Mcgreggir who isn't good enough to be in a team that holds it's own in Europe. Rogers is twice the player and it amazes me people talk about him leaving.

The one thing that could swing it that way is he us more likely to attract a bid than Callumn.

I hope Rogic stays.

3.) 27 Jan 2018 11:30:53
Not seen much of Mousonda But when came on for Chelsea the other week against Birghton he did look the part. Not normally a fan of loan deals but if it is 18 months then def a good signing. HH.

4.) 27 Jan 2018 11:44:43
Rogic is a far better player than McGregor, but unfortunately he's made out of Weetabix.

5.) 27 Jan 2018 11:53:18
Just need to dry him out on a bowl and he turns into the hardest substance known to humankind.

6.) 27 Jan 2018 12:36:48
Rogic has undoubted talent and ability, but has been injured far too often and misses far too much football.
Not only is he injury-prone, but his recovery time is far too long and as much as I rate him, we can't rely on him being fit and avail.
McGregor is only playing because Armstrong, Rogic and Roberts are not available and he has been very disappointing for weeks, although on his game he can contribute with a goal or two.

7.) 27 Jan 2018 12:49:26
See this rubbish McGregor is only play because other players are injured it's nonsense.
McGregor has played and scored at every level for Celtic.
Every team needs a player like McGregor. A utility man that will make sacrifices and play anywhere the team needs him to.
Always under rated by fans but loved by manager's.
He's not long ago been handed a four year contracted.
Yes rogic in a very good player but he is no use to us sitting in the stand. His time at Celtic must be running out.

8.) 27 Jan 2018 19:27:21
He’s made of weetabix 😂😂😂 brilliant! as good as Rogic is he needs to be fit to be of benefit to the team. What was abundantly clear is that McGregor is not the answer to AM position he’s neat and tidy but even he looks jaded. squad has stayed the same for years urgently needs freshened up so many players out injured the squad at present is winning games but barely and lack confidence to take the chances and really finish teams off!

26 Jan 2018 13:14:43
I see Rogers is talking about the absolute need to strengthen now in the Evening Times.

Get ready for a bit of activity lads.

Not long now. And not projects. Quality.

I hope for three, but will be happy with two.

1.) 26 Jan 2018 16:46:35
We can all talk about it MP.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 10:59:56
I hear you Jim, but, I absolutely believe we will do it. In fact, I'm not one for increasing bookies take gone pay, as every gambler is, but I would bet good money this will happen.

Don't get me wrong I have put a deposit down in a padded cell just in case we don't, but, it will happen mate.

05 Jan 2018 13:46:41
I'm hearing from a very unreliable source that Kim Sung Yuen is coming back to us from Swansea.

1.) 05 Jan 2018 14:37:41
Was it rogers who bought him at Swansea?

2.) 05 Jan 2018 15:18:08
No it was Michael Laudrup that bought him, although there were rumours Liverpool were looking at him too.

3.) 05 Jan 2018 15:35:23
Is that Ki Sung-Yuens sister.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 08:58:54
I read that article too. Wasn't any link other than he wants to leave and used to play for us. nowhere did it say that we were interested in him.

5.) 06 Jan 2018 10:14:46
My source was very unreliable indeed it would seem.

I never believed it anyway. The again I never believe any rumour regarding us.

Safer that way. :)

21 Aug 2017 18:47:22
Hearing the Cape Town team have announced the sale of the CB to us.

Edouard and Ntcham in a car accident. One man taken to hospital, hope they are ok

09 Jul 2018 17:58:51
Word on that street again saying we have moved ahead of Brazil 1970, for JOHN Terry. I hope they get him, it's about time they included a guy over the hill to all those world class rejects and loans to give us a chance.

1.) 10 Jul 2018 11:39:39
I'd sooner sign Terry Scott than John Terry.

22 Jun 2018 14:22:38
Gamboa playing well against Brazil.

1.) 22 Jun 2018 15:20:21
Right after I posted that he nearly sold the jerseys with a bad clearance. :)

2.) 22 Jun 2018 16:24:17
I saw what you saw and i thought he did well enough for our 3rd choice RB not played since Feb and against Neymar. They didn't score when ge was on. Just saying.

3.) 22 Jun 2018 21:59:40
Gamboa had a very good game right up to he ran out of steam around the 70th min. Not only did he defend well but he also put in some magnificent attacking crosses .
He and Brendan must have had a serious disagreement and when that happens there can be only one winner.

07 Jun 2018 19:22:00
Can someone put up the potential teams we could me in the qualifying stages if the CL? Cheers.

1.) 07 Jun 2018 19:54:53
Was done last week mate ed posted if you scroll back through some decent teams there like BATE and Legia.

2.) 08 Jun 2018 08:43:37
If you go to Wikipedia and search for "2018–19 UEFA Champions League" you will get all the details you need to see how qualifiers work and who is in the draw.

3.) 08 Jun 2018 13:28:04
Cheers lads will have a look at the wiki as I think the stuff out uo by ed has been worked of the pages with new lists and I don’t know how to find the old ones.

{Ed007's Note - It wasn't me that put it up, MP but here it is from GerryMurphy....

Full list of teams we can face in UCL qualifying (we'll need to beat 4 of these) .
Shkendija, Dudelange, Spartak Trnava, Valletta, Vikingur Gota, Crusaders, Olimpija Ljubljana, Alashkert, Sutjeska Niksic, Suduva Marijampole, Spartaks Jurmala, Cork City, Valur, Flora Tallinn, Torpedo Kutaisi, Midtjylland, CFR Cluj, Red Star Belgrade, Hapoel Be-er Sheva, Rosenborg, HJK Helsinki, The New Saints, Videoton, Kukesi, Zrinjski Mostar, AEK Athens, BATE Borisov, Dinamo Zagreb, Qarabag, Sheriff Tiraspol, Malmo, Young Boys, Astana, Legia Warsaw, APOEL

Realistically 1 from the bottom 4/ 5 in the play off round, 1 from the 8 or so before that in the 3rd qualifier, and two from the top half in the earlier rounds.

4.) 08 Jun 2018 19:02:45
With an extra £10mill up for qualifying its more important than ever we qualify. I am not worried about Rangers they won't do more than last season but I am concerned about CL qualification. We need 3 or 4 quality additions. Not talking about squad players we neef 3 or 4 £3mill plus players. If we get it right the extra CL money covers the cost and we also go on to dominate at home so we get another CL spot next season. So having said that can BR get on with brining in these players sooner than later. CL qualifying in 4 weeks!

5.) 08 Jun 2018 20:04:59
It's a dead cert Ed we will get Midgeyland and big Eric back for sure (Y)

21 May 2018 15:32:52
After being snubbed by two out of three managers of the year awards after

Qualifying for CL group stages.

Getting out of that group

Winning back to back trebles, that has never been done.

Imagine if Walter had done that?

If I were Brendan and they awarded me it next year after a Treble Treble, I would absolutely tell them to stick it up their arse.

If you ever want to know how much these people hate us and are hurting, this is it.

Tell them to stick it right up their Sevconian holes Brendan.

1.) 21 May 2018 16:09:32
Hey magicpole your going to have to stop sitting on the fence lol lol.

2.) 21 May 2018 16:20:04
I would honestly tell them to shove it.

Totally anti Celtic. Is there anywhere you can find out who voted for whom? Anybody know if that’s possible?

3.) 21 May 2018 16:28:17
If Morales had scored against us they wouldn't given him the Player of The Year.
The pain is killing them and long may it continue.

4.) 21 May 2018 16:32:26
Hail Hail to that. In fact, let’s make it worse. It’s not intense enough yet. I hope Dermot, Peter and Brendan are as pissed off as I am and get medieval on their ass.

5.) 21 May 2018 16:56:07
The silverware, medals and history books will show how absolutely outstanding this manager and team are, no matter how many hurting huns try to defy and deny the truth with petty gestures.
The manager is a Celtic supporter and always knew what he was up against with the biased media, officials and punditry but he never lowers himself to their gutter level and is the persona of dignity, integrity and confidence and it is killing them.

6.) 21 May 2018 21:58:09
Surely it’s sir Walter.

Who cares about such awards, count the trophies bhoys, when was the last time they won anything fairly.

I have a horrible feeling that one of the super rich clubs will steal young Dembele. I hope I’m wrong and his advisors are aware of young Islam who made an arse of it. With Rogers there and us going from strength to strength I hope we keep him.

Very few rumours Indeed, actually turn out to be anything other than a guy in his room putting two and two together and taking a punt on 5. The reason why people ask for evidence is because you need it to justify the source.

If it’s a guy who sits next to Lawell you know who said this it that, the first thing I think is, bullshi t. There is no chance anyone involved in the negoatiation would tell anybody anything. The only rumours that work out are the ones started by Celtic, usually after contact has been made. Agents are involved, they use the interest to create other interest. A lot of the time agents make rubbish up for the same reason.

If anybody makes a claim, you can bet your arse we all ask, who said it, when and to whom? Or do we just say fine?

It’s not an attack on the individual who puts things up. It’s only on the voracity of what they put up. I enjoy some, the ones o do t like are the,

Will be signing tomorrow, crap. Tomorrow seldom arrives. Well it does but the signings don’t accompany it.

Twitter is just a collection of ill informed speculators. I never believe any and there are some who are repeat offenders and a pain in the arse. raising hopes of people desperate for good news with stuff they pluck straight out their over active arses. Don’t like them.

Mcginn will be here soon enough. No danger of that. Rogers wants him, he wants to come to us The rest is just wrangling.

Even if an English club came in, if he refuses to go that’s dead in the water. Hibs need to talk to him. If he wants to come as much as Lenny says, then they will have a £2m hole in their accounts.

I think Brendan is already looking at Kouassi as an alternative. I think the boy has what it takes. We play him until December, we get McGinn in January for eff all and Next season we have cover if any current players fancy a move.

Hibs are playing a dangerous game.

He’s too skinny. Definitely needs to bulk up before he will be considered for a run in the team. Loads of ability.

I will be surprised if he is there long after we beat them at Greyskull. Both King and Gerrard will be driven out this season.

I hope they are again, or even better Hibs then the Dons.

The first game a Pittidrue will tell us how much Gerard has improved them. Aberdeen shat it from them last year up there with a team of duds up against them. Be interesting to see if they can handle them if they are better.

{Ed007's Note - All the Ibrox minded folk are saying Gerrard needs time and money, he won't get much of either. I'll be surprised if he's still their manager come March/April.}

Let’s preoare to beat them at their over inflated ability. That y, they turn out less than they hoped we co tinge absolutely hammering them. I don’t want just to be better, I want every game we play them to be absolute terror for them. That’s the gap we have now, that’s the gap I want with whatever Gerrard does. What’s wrong with that?

{Ed007's Note - Because Aberdeen have been our nearest rivals in recent years.}
