We're in for Nick Powell. Very excited about this one.

1.) 20 Apr 2014
I wouldn't get too excited. Probably just a loan move.

2.) 20 Apr 2014
I won't hold my breath. Another whopper from Peter Lie-well.

We'll be linked to many more in the next few weeks, incidently season ticket re-newals sent out this week!

4.) 21 Apr 2014
Shouldn't have got too excited at all! A newspaper saying we have no chance.

5.) 21 Apr 2014
I actually think there could be something in this one, I would suspect Man U are after one of our players and would consider as part of deal, especially as Man U will have no Champions league money next year

6.) 21 Apr 2014
@DN30 the press print crap and even this is Lawwells fault he really should be sacked though for causin WW2 and sinking the titanic lol.

7.) 21 Apr 2014
I don't reckon we need a Man Unt cast off who is not really doing much with WBA (I think!) We got plenty young strikers warming the bench. If it's a CL striker we are after we should finally be splashing £6m+ on one. It's time to see this cash we have under our bed. The currents would be spewing, especially since they are behind in their salary this month. TICK TOCK AGAIN!

{Ed007's Note - Powell is at Wigan and plays as an AM, he is head and shoulders above anyone in the SPFL except maybe Commons, but he has just turned 20. He also scored 3 goals in 6 matches in this year's Europa League campaign.
NL has been tracking him since he was at Crewe (he watches Crewe as much as possible simply because they have arguably the best youth academy in England) and tried to sign him on loan last summer.
If AF had remained Utd manager Powell would never have been sent out on loan and Mata would never have been signed, I just can't see us signing him, if he leaves Utd it will be to an EPL team.}

8.) 22 Apr 2014
@rayman your right lol

9.) 23 Apr 2014
I'd be delighted if we got Powell, had hoped we'd try and get him while he was still at Crewe (considering Lennon does go to watch them a lot we seem to miss out on a lot of their players when they do move on!)

Him and Commons playing behind a more natural forward would bring us lots of goals.
