Has Erik been sold or is it a loan back to his previous club?

{Ed007's Note - It's a loan and so far there's been no agreement on making it permanent although all parties would like to see that happen in the summer.}

1.) 16 Jan 2018 19:20:51
Cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - No probs.}

2.) 16 Jan 2018 21:35:49
I heard that there has been two Chelsea youngsters Celtic interested in Mosonda is one and Is a midfielder and word on who the other is ED?

{Ed007's Note - Lewis Baker.}

3.) 16 Jan 2018 22:00:08
Any truth in it ED?

{Ed007's Note - I don't know mate, I just read something about us being linked with him. He's currently at Middlesbrough on loan but I read he hasn't kicked a ball for them since September. He's meant to be a cracking player but if he isn't getting game time for Middlesbrough that sets alarm bells ringing for me.}

4.) 16 Jan 2018 22:36:37
I agree there ED why would we want someone who can't get a game when on Loan. Do we expect any movement this in or out this week?

{Ed007's Note - It's difficult to put timescales on anything, Rich.There will be movement both ways before the window closes.}

5.) 16 Jan 2018 22:49:22
Any news on who may fill Erik’s boots Ed? The only CB I’ve really seen us linked with consistently is Hendry and if that’s the case I don’t think BR will have his wish of being stronger after the window than we were before it. Perhaps a deal for Caulker could be on the cards?

{Ed007's Note - I'd say Ajer and probably more Compper have already taken Sviatchenko's spot.}

6.) 16 Jan 2018 23:43:56
Cheers ED.

Celtic Statement - We note today's decision by the Supreme Court. Celtic's position on this issue has been consistent - that this has always been a matter for the courts of law and also the Scottish football authorities, whose rules are intended to uphold sporting integrity.

In 2013, we expressed surprise - shared by many observers and supporters of the game - over the findings of the SPL Commission that no competitive or sporting advantage had resulted. Today's decision only re-affirms that view.

We are sure now that the footballing authorities in Scotland will wish to review this matter. Celtic awaits the outcome of their review.

1.) 05 Jul 2017 16:03:47
Hopefully every football club and fan in Scotland demands punishment to fit the crime of these cheats. Every Trophy won in that time taken from them. Expect the Government to act also. Regan and Doncaster can clear their desks!

2.) 05 Jul 2017 18:56:04
Regan and doncaster will be popping the diacam in handfulls they must act.

3.) 05 Jul 2017 18:59:26
Sfa already released a statement stating no further action to be taken against the old club it's in the hands of the spfl now. But surely when the cheating happened it was under sfa power so they should be dealing with it.

4.) 05 Jul 2017 20:49:33
SPL SFA SPFL will all be trying to offload it on each other with none of them wanting to be the ones to do it knowing of the angry backlash by the peepel I don't care who does it, to be honest just as long as it gets done if none of the Scottish governing bodies will do it can it be taken to UEFA or CAS?

5.) 05 Jul 2017 20:57:29
I reckon they should give them an option title stripping or demotion back to div 2.

6.) 06 Jul 2017 00:24:05
after the court ruling today and hmrc looking to go after others. what clubs do u think they will be looking at? I take it they will all be in the epl.

7.) 06 Jul 2017 00:26:25
It is inevitable that the 5 league titles won between 2001 and 2010 will be stripped. Juve got 2 titles stripped for match fixing, and the huns punishment will be identical. The authorities also stripped Lance Armstrong and Ben Johnson of their titles also for cheating, and gaining a sporting advantage by doping. I am going to throwa party when they are stuck on 'Going for 50' for time immemorial.

Did anyone read Murray's statement? That guy has a brass neck dropping Craig Whyte's name into it as a deflection.

8.) 06 Jul 2017 11:43:42
theres no way anything will happen to sevco, it will be swept under the masonic carpet as usual.

9.) 06 Jul 2017 20:28:57
If this is brushed under the carpet i will never attend another SPL game in my life. Celtic need to lead from the front with this. I don't want their trophies i want the ones they won by cheating removed from the history books. Just saw on Newsnow a link to the Daily Record phone ins, zombies telling Celtic fans to leave it and that they had already paid fines and were demoted.

Still they believe they were demoted. The only people on this planet who don't understand the meaning of liquidation, poor little Rangers always the victims. Had we died and cheated do you think they would just leave it. No chance.

Really hope all of Scottish football does something about this they can't be allowed to get away with it. There is enough people in the know on the good side of the fence to make sure this is dealt with correctly and they are punished for crimes.

10.) 08 Jul 2017 19:06:52
Stan, who cares? Don't give a toss what happens at Rangers. It about Celtic and how we keep on beating them and the rest. Who cares. Tainted titles makes no odds to is. Be more concerned about the SFA, Regan and Doncaster. Donkeys both of them.

29 May 2017 12:08:43
Just thought i'd share what i heard on Saturday when dropping off a spare ticket to the owner of the pub we drink in on match days. He's fairly well connected with goings on inside Celtic and it supposedly came from the son of a director that there is a real possibility that Wayne Rooney will be a Celtic player next season. Wouldn't normally bother posting this kind of stuff you here in pubs but with it coming from this source there might be something in it. Mind you he did also say Scott McDonald is going to the dark side, surely not.

1.) 29 May 2017 19:01:54
I could see McDonald at ibrox, Ronald McDonald he'd compliment the other clowns over there.

2.) 30 May 2017 10:42:10
the so called celtic fan mcdonald was about to join rangers before celtic came in for him years ago.

3.) 30 May 2017 10:43:37
Pmsfl Rooney really.

02 May 2016 17:01:31
Is it true that our shirts next season are going to have Dafabet across the front and Magners across the shoulders above players name?

{Ed007's Note - I've not heard that Stevie but it's definitely a possibility and would be a good money maker.}

1.) 02 May 2016 17:21:01
Celtic will wear Dafabet on the Front of the jersey and magners on the shoulders it was confirmed last week from Lawwell when we signed a new deal with magners stating that magners would be moving on to the back of the shirt on the shoulders!

{Ed007's Note - Cheers, Gaz. I missed that myself.}

2.) 02 May 2016 17:22:08
heard thar maself stevie, magners just extended the sponsorship.

3.) 02 May 2016 17:37:49
Both have been confirmed and going by reports then that seems to be the way?!

{Ed001's Note - it is a Scottish record shirt sponsorship deal.}

4.) 02 May 2016 18:08:20
Ed/ Stevie, does anyone one know what the new shirt deal is in terms of £££/ years?

{Ed007's Note - It's rumoured to be circa £2.75m per year for four years with bonuses for CL qualification.
Stevie, do you know if it's still Magners as the main sponsor on the training kit?}

5.) 02 May 2016 19:11:42
Think so ed i'm sure it was mentioned that a small logo would remain on training kit.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers.}

6.) 02 May 2016 20:18:57
If £2.75m per year is correct that's some deal.

7.) 02 May 2016 20:41:07
With the New Balance deal and the recent Magners/ Dafbet deals and the extra revenue you make from the Zombies. There is no reason why we can't give the New manager a decent transfer budget. Time for some serious investment know.

8.) 02 May 2016 20:54:45
I read that the away top is going to be black with a green design and white trim. Looking forward to seeing what they've come up with.

9.) 02 May 2016 20:57:49
Not keen on either sponsor only because the kids tops look horrible with no sponsor!
But when money is sparce it sounds like a good deal all round, Magners deal will have changed with having the smaller space on the shirt but it's a good wee money maker and with the other mob coming back up and the money we were supposedly losing lol that can be banked again give or take a few 😂 Probably take.

10.) 02 May 2016 23:09:49
Agree Kev I hope it is something like black with flourescent rim sleeves and collar think that will look pretty smart.

11.) 03 May 2016 08:57:34
I think the tops look much better without the sponsor

12.) 03 May 2016 20:47:17
Is the away top not pink.

20 Apr 2016 10:44:02

Ha ha best 49 quid av spent in a long time. Was standing 5 or 6 rows behind Griff, Lustig, Doris, Comper and young Calvin Miller. Griff at the end stood up on the edge of the top tier waving a tricolour. Wish I had a foty of it, sure someone must have. Superb performance from the lads tho, couldn't have scripted it any better, winning with 10 men ha ha and wee Willie Collum trying his best for them. PS any word from Meltdown Timplosion UJ 😱😱😂😂😂😂.

1.) 11 Mar 2018 22:27:31
Would have liked a public condemnation of that little tosser Collum while we won the game despite his best efforts to save them.
It's sour grapes when you blame an 'official' after defeat, but this clown was well out of order all second half with biased and wrong decisions a-plenty and we still too good for that cheating rat.
Let the people sing.

2.) 11 Mar 2018 22:33:06
Actually thought Collum had a great game. Could easily have blown for a free kick on brown but played advantage and Moussa scored. It was the linesman who gave the red, which in fairness probably was one. If Alves had done the same to Moussa we would have been screaming for a red.

3.) 11 Mar 2018 22:42:12
It was a red all day long. If it had been alves on dembele wed have been going mental.
But after the red a Celtic man could not go near a blue shirt because Collum blew for a foul almost everytime.

4.) 11 Mar 2018 22:59:15
OAB agree entirely.
Ref was shocking, had a great game?
So Declan johns tackle in first 5 minutes on Forrest no booking.
Declan John tackle on Roguc through two footed with studs up - not even a foul.
Albee kicks out at Edourd, not even a word.

Ntcham booked for running by. Bain for time wasting. Dembele for going up for a header?

Sending off was hash even the plum Walker said very harsh. Looking at ball the full time.

Celtic showed why we are champions and our manager showed the belief in the team and the Celtic ethos - attach is best for of defence.

5.) 11 Mar 2018 23:02:01
I remember Declan John slide tackling Rogic, who luckily jumped out the way before impact.

He slid in with "excessive force", boot raised off the ground and studs showing. This was a red card all day long but we didn't even get a free kick.

6.) 12 Mar 2018 00:22:12
I have a photo.

7.) 12 Mar 2018 08:26:15
Don’t post the photo. The hun press will make a field day.

8.) 12 Mar 2018 09:24:39
The foty is on BBC Scotland sports football page. PMSL when he done it 😂😂🇮🇪🇮🇪.

9.) 12 Mar 2018 12:02:22
No doubt some daily rag will try too put a negative slant on it!

28 Feb 2018 22:12:14
Evening lads, with No 7 within touching distance and 4 wins and 6 draws all that's required to secure it, this is a great chance of clinching it at the crumbledome, I know it won't be mathematically won but 9 pts ahead with a game in hand even the most gullible Sevconian will admit this fictitious title race is over.

1.) 01 Mar 2018 04:59:20
. Stevie quit with the trash talking I would rather just get it done. Let's not talk with "all that's required". support Celtic to the end regardless. The wins, losses and draws can be ugly. I believe the run in can be great and that's where I see this team. All the unnecessary negativity brings us down to a level we should not be contemplating.

2.) 01 Mar 2018 08:37:17
@Cardinal, what you on about? tell me what's trash and negative with what I posted? You been on the glue on a school night?

27 Feb 2018 21:02:00
Watching Swansea v Sheffield Wed, Glenn Loovens playing for Wednesday, he must be about 100 year old.

1.) 27 Feb 2018 21:08:57
Year older than compper n 2days older than me Stevie. Hills not even in sight yet though my sense of direction has gone along with the eyesight and the teeth.

2.) 27 Feb 2018 21:55:07
The eyesight just creeps up on you, It's mental you can see things 50yds away clearly but a newspaper 2 feet away you cannot read it.

24 Feb 2018 12:30:18
Would like to see Jack Aitchison be promoted to the senior squad especially with Griff out for a few more weeks, he's 18 now and with the goals drying up he might be what's required at the moment. Remember him scoring for the senior squad in the last game of the season 2 years ago.

22 Feb 2018 20:00:58
Ach well not much you can say about that. On the upside no more Thursday -Sunday games. Let's get No 7 wrapped up starting on Sunday on the way to the double treble 😁😁.

Ha ha ed you must be near my age, I used to wear Travel Fox wi my Biscotti dungarees 😅😅.

Our last number 67 wasn't too shoddy, this guy looks the real deal, delighted we got him, not a fan of 6 month loans but 18 month loan on quality like this is a great piece of business.

Can't see anything other than 90 mins of torture the moro night, can't say I enjoy watching us against those super rich multi billionaire funded clubs. Looking forward to a bit of a breather in the Europa and hopefully a wee run. On the upside lads when sitting through the torture the moro night just think that's how Sevconians feel when they play us.

Just read it JJ, what a clown. He even tried to make out it was unlucky for the Sevies when Celtic went down to 10 men. When is this delusion that they are some kind of threat going to end? They are no more of a threat than Hibs or Aberdeen and that threat is zero.

Without a doubt KT but it's no going to happen . KT's here for 13 in a row and the octuple treble and he"ll still only be in his mid 20's 😁.

Most over rated league in the world. An English side should be winning CL every couple of seasons with the tv money that's thrown at them not once every decade.

{Ed001's Note - but two of the 3 richest teams in the world are Spanish, so, if it is all about money, Spain should win 2 out of 3 really.}

Don't think he would thank you if he was told to have a break. He would probably turn up for training anyway. He's up there with Tommy Burns for his love of the club, refreshing to see in the game nowadays.
