BB salaries aren't as bad as I thought, particularly wingers. When u compare to £84m for Anthony and £35m for the diver at loan with Sevco with salaries north of £100k pw it puts our outlay into perspective. That said we have squandered cash on CH's who add nothing. To think we knocked back a loan for Lagerbeilke and despite injuries to CCV and Scales he hasn't kicked a ball.

Salary Sport have been used in other media reports but it is only a guideline because we don’t know for sure, how accurate the site is with their information.

I would be more worried if Celtic had the figures reported for the current Sevco deadwood.
They have loads of fringe players on £20k to £25k per week.

Hindsight is brilliant, when BR pulled the plug on a possible loan for Lagerbeilke we were down to bare minimum, as we had just got the results of a scan on CCV
If BR hadn’t taken the action he took, and we had one more cb injury in the next 2/ 3 weeks the shouts from some fans would have been heard as far away as the Brazenhead . We were in a poor enough position regarding defenders without letting another slip through our hands .
We have to accept, no matter how difficult it is to swallow, that our manager may know what is best for the club sometimes and actually does it .

We should congratulate our CEO for signing players at the prices that we are given, especially they are right . Kohn would gratefully accepted twice as much or more than he is supposed to be earning . The key to good buying is to get players signed for as. Ilttle as possible and review their pay regularly and increase it if player has proved that he warrants it .
One thing that is almost impossible to achieve is to reduce pay if we start too high . In the past we tended to pay everyone too much and then if they didn’t come good we were left with them on our books until contact was over.
