With all the Japanese bhoys we're signing is it easier for work permits registrations etc as opposed to somewhere like South america .

{Ed007's Note - It was always easier to get a work permit for the SPFL than it was in the Pub League but since the Brexit fiasco it is even easier for players from Europe, Asia & South America etc to move to Scotland than England. I think we would have had serious problems signing Bernabei and a couple of the Japanese players if it was still the old pre-Brexit system.}

I was close to asking the classic Scottish question HOW? that only we know means WHY?

HOW?

Why was and is Scotland any different from Engerland (may God please cut it loose) and us pre and post BREXIT?

PS: I’ve now started answering the HOW question rather than WHY even although I know WHY is what was meant. I asked a guy in Derry for a breakfast at Christmas after Mass and he said we stop selling breakfast at 12. HOW? I asked. The poor laddie couldn’t answer the question. We stop putting feckn sausages and eggs in the frying pan and just say naw is HOW. WHY is a totally different feckn question.

{Ed007's Note - I think it basically comes down to the quality/rating of the leagues. Alex McLeish tried to sign Wanyama at Birmingham and he didn't get a work permit for them and he spoke up for the player at his hearing for the Celtic work permit under the "exceptional talent" rules as in he was better than most players his age in Scotland and would improve the overall quality/standard of the league.}

He’d never have achieved what Ange has achieved in Glasgow responsible for everything from coaching tae recruitment having to rebuild a squad who’s heads were down and bringing half of Japan with him! ?

JFP agreed 100% mate. By God we landed lucky appointing Big Ange. I don’t think I’ve loved a manager more since the great Tommy Burns, God rest him, . It begs the question HOWE did we not get him in the door sooner ?

There is nothing not to like about Ange. When you read the Greece to Australia immigrant story I can’t think of any man that would have got Celtic more. He’s a breath of fresh air and Angeball is the best football I’ve watched since under Tommy and before that under Liam Brady. Dare I say he even has a Mr Stein like presence and aura.

I was telling Ed I even got a Big Ange jumper for my Christmas complete with bump on the front! ?.
