great chat during the podcast last night.
We spoke about players leaving and not just for money but to continue their ambition of playing at and amongst the top level of teams and players.

I had to leave before the discussion ended but one thing I was discussing with my cousin was Ange.

Like myself, and my supporters, my cousin believed that Ange was here for the long haul.
However, watching his reaction and bearing in mind he comes from a culture which does not tolerate blatant cheating etc., now I am not so sure.

His reactions to the refereeing and blatant cheating in this country might make hime ask himself if it is worth staying. He obviously loves the club but he seems to be getting more frustrated as thing go along and the number of 'honest mistakes' which do not go in Celtic's favour.

Add the lack of spine shown by the Celtic board and their continual acceptance of the obvious cheating and who knows what Ange might decide.

Your right Tiny Tim, great podcast the guys put on, more people should take the time to check it out, i used to say martin and Brendon would stay, you just never what is going through our managers mind. I honestly think tho, all the cheating that is going on will only make Ange more determined IMHO.

You can't put Martin O'Neil in with the rat. O'Neil gave celtic 7yrs and left football completely to care for his wife. The rat came in declared he was a big Celtic man and left with 11 games to go. With the chance to be a immortal in the supporters eyes for guiding us to a treble treble.

I don’t agree Ange would leave because of cheating. That’s the rubbishbag way. You take them on. If we had Celtic men who shat it from their cheating, we wouldn’t even be a club. Ange may indeed leave, but only to fulfil his own ambitions to manage at a top euro club in a league not derided as poor. What he needs to do is put a team on the park to overcome those classless cheating barstewards and let the board find a guy with balls to take them on all the way to UEFA. We don’t rubbish it, we fight their corruption and beat them. That’s who we are and I believe Ange is that way too. Running away from them is not an option. It never has been and as long as there are people who will take them on among our ranks, we never will. Feck them and their refs.

Rogers was faced with Lawell, buy cheap and hope crap. Never prepare for the CL challenges and this pathetic strategy resulted in failing in 9 out of 13 times to qualify. He wanted to be ready for it, we ended up playing Nir out of position and he took a lot of flak that should have been Lawells. Rogers took his decision in the knowledge that Lawell was a cheapskate who overseen some of the worst recruitment I have ever seen at our club. Good businessmen don’t fail to get to the biggest market every year. Dithering arseholes do. I said at the time, the major problem we had wasn’t Rogers leaving, it was Lawell staying. Since he left we have seen what being proactive can achieve. My biggest fear is he returns, and we revert to being a joke with no planning and woeful recruitment. If a board wants to control the football side of things, as Lawell did, I don’t blame anyone telling him to feck off.
