What about the tackle on Scott Brown today? It was an absolute shocker and straight Red Card. I honestly believe our Captain is going to get a bad one this season. Some of the opposition players are going out their way to get him and make a name for themselves.
There was a few challenges last season on Broony yet I can only remember the Red Card given to the Aberdeen player.
I really hope I'm wrong but far too many tackles are going unpunished.

As long as honest mistake merchants and cheats like Thomson and Beaton allow this thuggery Brown or any other target in hoops is in danger of serious injury.

There has undoubtedly been a concerted effort to take Broon out as it’s the one position we have no natural replacement for and which would potentially do the greatest damage to our pursuit of a treble treble. There has been absolutely no protection from referees either last season or this which makes them complicit in the objective. It’s time Brendan, Peter Lawell and Celtic to speak out.

C Levien got away with a terrible remark last season, about Brown who seems to be fair game for the thug in the opposing Scottish teams .
Of course refs do not protect him.
