Hi Ed if its the case that we have signed Rivaldo Coetzee, and he does play for South Africa, will we loose him for the Afirca Cup of nations we it comes round?

{Ed007's Note - The ACON has been moved to summer (June and July) starting at the next one in 2019 so it would only have the same effect as having players on World Cup duty or at Euro Championships.
South Africa didn't qualify for the previous ACON in 2017.}

Is it safe to assume he'll be the only CB coming in? I was hoping for somebody with a bit more experience tbh.

Surely if Eric shoots off we'll be recruiting a replacement. But remember we've players coming back in plenty time for round 1.

{Ed007's Note - CL Matchday 1 dates are the 12th & 13th of September. Any games between now and then Simunovic and one of Bitton, Ajer, Tierney or Lustig will be fine but even though Boyata and Sviatchenko, if he stays, will be back in September we still need another CB to play beside Simunovic at CL level and I don't see Coetzee being that signing.}
