Malmo are there and I am glad we are at Celtic park 1st
Would love the board to reward the 12th man and reduce ticket prices £15 for adults £5 for kids get the place jumping
Past few games it's been quiet and everyone in the ground a bag of nerves
Lots at stake so understandable
Really think that by doing this it gives something back to the fans that the board players and staff refer to as best in the world

great idea

but to be put in context. if they can get £25 and sell out (inc £10 for kids etc) then that would amount to a near £500k site off and CFC aren't really in the business of doing that …they don't speculate to accumulate and so will view this match as a money spinner (as opposed to "sacrificial income" to set the tone to do the business)

prove me wrong Mr Lawell

The club rarely show diligence and foresight like this and it would have been a great incentive (and reward) for the support they always tell us are the best in the world etc etc etc.
What the board lack in investment of the team, could have been compensated for in some small way by this gesture and ensure a capacity crowd for a precarious play off tie.
These qualifiers have been a very nervy affair for a good few years now because of the timing of the ties, the turnover of players and the obvious drop in quality of players and we need every incentive to get the club back on track in Europe.

Marco, we have a great number of fans posting here demanding that the club buys new players . Buying new players cost money , most people would prefer the club to charge a couple of quids extra to help to create a bigger transfer kitty, rather than leave the individual fans the price of a pint .
We are a professional club and if we qualify for the champions League we will be one of the poorest .
Can we afford a price reduction at a game that will attract the biggest crowd so far this season .
Charging less won't have the fans less nervous , or cause them to be more vocal in their support

Old Bhoy: no, it won't. The atmosphere comes from the product on display, as does the anxiety & nail biting. No one on here is unaware of the amount we've spent on players versus the amount 'we've' made.

I'm not lucky enough to be close enough to get to the games, but I'd reckon most celtic fans want a competitive team at all levels, attractive football when feasible, and results befitting our tradition. At the very least that requires a reliable striker or two.

What are all these extra sales going to? For seasons now - does anyone know? Its not like we need an endowment, or have a mortgage? The players salaries: how do they compare to the executives'? Is there a similar 'structure'? I suspect not.

Can't we sell Lawell & co this window, in short?

Old Bhoy if you think the club adding a few quid on to tickets prices for one match will increase the transfer kitty in anyway then you are deluded. The board will cont to spend the bare minimum to appease the fans as they have done for to long now. One match ticket will have no impact on that whatsoever.
