Ed seen on the Manchester United page u told a member that VVD was in talks with LVG in Holland take it u were at the wind up?

A taxi driver in Stirling told me last week that Vvd was going to Liverpool for £5 million don't know if there's any truth in this at all personally I think it's rubbish but just putting it out there

He may well go to Liverpool but I have not heard anything about it. If he did go there it won't be for 5M though and I would expect around double that amount.

If he goes to Liverpool ,which I don't believe he will,it will only be for wages not success.In my opinion Liverpool won't be winning anything as they are not good enough and I particularly don't rate their manager,just my opinion.killy.

Aye ed a thought u were at it! Manchester United would be a better team with VVD playing IMO! I think he is really special and could go on to become one of the worlds bests defenders!

{Ed007's Note - Well he's certainly better than Smalling and Jones! He needs to prove himself in Europe before he can look at a move to a top team. He'd be better staying here for another year than fighting relegation with a team like Norwich, and if Norwich get relegated get sold to a West Brom or Stoke. If Arsenal or even Southampton are serious that's a different story, but would he be a first choice at Arsenal? That's the problem with Man Utd and City, they only see him as back-up to their main CBs and VVD wants to play every week.}
