I hope the club are going to publish a map of Celtic Park and the surrounding area. The place has changed a lot in the last couple of years and there will be a lot of folk needing directions to the ticket office after today's cup draw. I'm going with the rest of the Bhoys on here and won't give the lies any support. Unless there's a clear indication by the Hoops regarding the status of Sectarian FC II as a new club I won't be there. Maybe we should have got Donald Findlay to investigate it. How will Fat Sally respond to Findlay this time, in April there before promotion Findlay came out with this barnstromer

"A lot of people I know have watched Rangers and they wouldn't have won the Championship this season. No chance. Not a cat's chance in hell."

To which Sally comes back with

"Everyone is telling us we wouldn't win the Championship, people such as Donald Findlay. Even they're telling us we need to strengthen so I'm happy to take Donald's advice."

I wonder if the fat f**ker still feels the same about the proven bigot QC's advice. (giggle) If I was a certain Livingston programme writer I'd be phoning Findlay up about an unfair dismissal case. This should be seen as a chance for our support to unite and force the club's hand in clearing up the mess they have helped create once and for all. Anything else I've got to say about that mob I'll post on our sevco page.

{Ed007's Note - We can send posts to any page we want, Joe, so it doesn't really matter what page you post from I can move it to the right page.}

Right on the money! Time this preposterous same club myth was exposed and since the media refuse to do it I expect our club to step up. we should make it clear that this is the first time the clubs have met.End of.

{Ed007's Note - I nominate, GJ, as the man to organise the campaign or at least look into the whole thing and if others are doing anything he can be this site's spokesman on the matter.}

2.) 02 Nov 2014
Be a pleasure ED. I think a swift e-mail campaign warning the club of slipping into the fictitious 'old firm' mantra would be a good start. People have lost jobs and been threatened, even attacked, because of an agenda to pander to half wits who can't grasp what liquidation is.

I would like to thank my wife and kids who have helped me attain this great honour (chokes back a tear) ans I will try to uphold the high standards of this site and ED and all the regulars!

I will second it Ed!all say aye(AYE)

While I agree withe facts. its a new club who we will be playing, let's not forget it's also a business and PL and the rest will be milking this for every penny. The MSM will be selling this as a OF game regardless as it is a marketable product. Usually, I would be ok with the business sense but our board have yet to show their commitment to spending and strengthening. (Speculate to accumulate). We should be a mile in front of the Dark side but we are not And I do not see the result as it should be, a foregone conclusion.

Tim is right about PL wanting to make as much money out of this as he can. He said that having Rangers out of the SPL has cost us £10 mill a year (which I can't work out) so he will try and make it work financially. As for the point that the club need to come out and state that Sevco is a new entity would not fit in with generating money from this fixture or future fixtures. We know the Trolls are always going to say this is the same Rangers but everyone knows the argument and the legalities of liquidation so stop giving their argument any credence. They will never agree and when you are in a situation where you KNOW you are right but the other party won't listen then stop arguing and walk away. Having said that , it is a must win match. I want to beat Newco every time we meet them for the next 20 years. They have never beaten us and we have never beaten them. So let's start how we mean to go on. Let's go win the treble.

6.) 02 Nov 2014
@Johnnymac: I agree with you but Celtic must lead the way in this, it is our duty as the biggest club in the country.Lets not forget the fans of all other clubs who refused to be backed into the 'to big to fail'myth.

On Lawwells figure, I have always thought it was on the high side, unless rangers fans bought a phenomenal amount of pies when at Celtic Park!

You are also right on the won't listen walk away point, but this is different. There is more at stake here, there is the fact that we behaved properly and they did not. they were propped up by banks throwing money at them while they lorded it over EVERY club in the country. They adopted a tax scheme which was morally dubious at best, and illegal at worst.

Those alone are bad enough. Throw into the mix that, despite every other situation likened to them, they seem to think they are the same club. I will be at the game but it won't be a game against rangers, they don't exist

GJ nothing anyone can do or say will ever stop the manky mob from shouting from the rooftops that they are the same club. That does not make it true. Liquidation is liquidation. You can buy the name and any assets the liquidator sells to you but it is another companies assets. That's why you have to buy them not build them. Anyone could have bought them turned Ibrox into a supermarket and binned the jerseys. (Actually Charlie Green sold the jerseys but that's a really funny story. Would love to tell you about it one day but every time I tell the story I pee myself laughing) so no matter what they claim, the facts are the facts. We will beat them in the semi final but you can guarantee the treatment table will be busy for a few weeks. As for your point about how the establishment supported them, well that is totally correct and it will continue to support them moving forward, so I know where you are coming from GJ. But we don't need the funny handshakes and leather aprons. We are Celtic.

8.) 02 Nov 2014
I fail to understand why you can criticise PL for wanting to make money on this. If he failed to do this you all would be jumpin on his head for missin out on an opportunity. If for eg he only got 4m for VVD you would be going off your head, its his job to make he best of it.We might not like it or agree with it but Sly/MSM etc will market this as an old firm game there nothing we can do about that. The truth of the matter is we MAKE more money with the new club and them back in the top flight, and with that challenge if it comes, it makes us a better team because without a challenge how do we improve.Money and getting tested will only make celtic better so stop concentrating on them and remember if it makes us better why would you be against it?

9.) 02 Nov 2014
@rayman; Exactly, let sly and the media continue the charade but we should have no part of it. Of course you are right we do make more money with them here but honestly, I would rather we never had to play them again. I have said before the 'fans' who stayed away because of no sevco need to have a look at themselves, same with the CL glory hunters.

10.) 02 Nov 2014
Why would you not want to play them?
You prob went to the games when they wudnt sign certain players because of their religion so why not now? Is it not the kind of game that gets your juices flowing? Do you nt miss these type of games?Do you not miss going into work and givin it to them strong when we won? Do you really want to play ICT/St.Mirren/Killie all the time without any big games? Do you really want Celtic not to improve? We will virtually go off the football map without these games is that what you really want? The football world will take notie when we play them, without it the world cudnt give a toss about Scottish football. You prob watch the barca/Madrid game, and the other big games of the world. But do you wake up in the morning and say "I can't wait to see the Barca/Genada game?

Ray man read the post. I never criticised PL for raising money from the fixture. I am also more than happy to see Sevco back in our division.

12.) 02 Nov 2014
@rayman; I did go to games when rangers were adopting their sectarian signing policy, it helped me hate them even more. But you miss the point, THIS IS NOT RANGERS. rangers died.End of story. You also seem to be assuming I will not go to the games, I will because I go to watch Celtic regardless of who we play.

Dont you think we will improve by properly rearing our own talent and trusting them to play? If we lose money through no sevco so be it, we will have to cut our cloth, and we know what happens to clubs who don't do that.

Dont kid yourself mate, or swallow the line pushed by sevcophants, the football world does not bother it's ass about Scotland or us playing them. My juices will not be flowing because, and I can't stress this enough, WE HAVE NEVER PLAYED THEM! As for your last line; I wake up looking forward to watching Celtic play

13.) 02 Nov 2014
Soz john I was debating with GJ

14.) 02 Nov 2014
Well gj you disappoint me mate. you seem more interested in them than us.when have we ever improved rearing our own in last 30 years?

15.) 02 Nov 2014
Rayman I don't think I've ever seen you agreeing with anyone on here.

16.) 02 Nov 2014
@rayman; Is that not the point of RD? To reshape the whole club from the bottom up? I am not in the slightest bit interested in sevco, they are not in our league, in a lot of ways. Your the one who wants to get 'your juices flowing'at the thought of playing them.Does that not make your statement a bit redundant?

I do agree we have a pretty poor track record of late on the playing of young players, all the more reason to give RD a chance, no? Remember Lennon shipped McGregor out on loan, RD plays him, so maybe that's a good omen.

17.) 03 Nov 2014
Right lads lay aff rayman. He's an expert on all footballing matters having logged a few hours playing fm2014. Ooft

18.) 03 Nov 2014
Aye, putting the dig in about Lennon and Mc Gregor is fine .
What about Lennon playing Henderson and Deila ignoring him .

Jimmy Mc Guinness says whether a player is ready for step - up to first team was an opinion that would depend on what one person thought whilst another has thought different . Mc Guinness has taken the opinion out of it by rating every under age player from the under tens right up to the end of their under- age limit with individual
K. P. I's . This he says will remove the guessing and even though he has moved on McG says the K P I's will continue .
