This Tovev issue is brassing me off. There can'y be any viseo/radio evidence or it would have been all over the media and there is no way Celtic would Appeal.
The severity of the sentence would inply there must be some evidence.
Racism is horrible and we all know that but those calling for Tonev's heid is a little out of order until we have all the facts. I wonder if they would be saying the same if it was Guidetti in the dock getting a 7 game ban with apparently no evidence.
It will all come out in the wash and if he is guilty there will be no place in Europe, apart from his own country maybees, were he will be allowed to go.
Although with a 7 game ban there must have been some evidence against him and not just Logan's word. Hail Hail

I don't, like everyone else know what if any evidence was produced in tonevs racist allegation.what concerns me is how can a player who bets against his own team (with evidence) get a 3 match ban yet tonev gets a 7 match ban for allegedly saying something untoward to a fellow player I'm not condoning racism but for me the punishment is over the top.killy.

Steady on ED, are you not bothered about the lack of evidence. I would go as far to believe that Tonev did not say anything worse than Terry did, if he even said anything. The evidence was there for everyone to see What Terry said but there is absolutely no evidence, in the Press/media anyway, what Tonev said. For a 7 match ban, considering Terry got 4, I woyuld like to know what was the evidence. Hopefully is was not just Logans word. Hail Hail

{Ed007's Note - How do you know there's a lack of evidence, were you sitting in on the hearing? Nobody knows what evidence was produced but to think there was none is just sheer stupidity. Court cases can sometimes come down to one person's word against the other and the jury decide by listening and looking at the available evidence, it's a bit of a harsh comparison but are rape cases and sexual assault or abuse cases not usually one person's word against another? Would you not believe your wife was assaulted if the guy denied it?
Instead of second guessing it why not wait to see what happens, as of right now Tonev has been found guilty of racism and must be treated accordingly. Even if there was evidence in the public domain there would be CFC supporters still blaming everyone else a la Griffiths multiple problems with his racist behaviour.}

Well said ed 007 surely if there was no evidence he wouldn't have got banned so there must be some somewhere. 7 games is not enuf in my opinion there's no excuses for racism and the harder league chiefs and uefa n fifa clamp down on it it mite slowly disappear
