I have taken the liberty of reading quite a few of the posts relatingto today's game, I have to say I have been really shocked to read the BBC report on BBC Scotland.
"Celtic skipper Scott Brown slid in on striker Ciftci, available for United after a successful appeal against a two-match suspension, and Van Dijk made an ugly challenge on Calum Butcher, who lashed out at the Dutchman while lying on the turf.
The first eight minutes were scrappy, but the character of the game changed when, after a flurry of heavy challenges in midfield, Thomson showed the red card to visiting centre-half Van Dijk and, inexplicably, United's Paton. Paton arrived on the scene just after, but it was the holding midfielder and not Butcher who was shown a straight red card, along with Van Dijk, who had tussled with Butcher after the United player retaliated."
What sort of report is that? - surely Celtic FC have to sya something about this, or are we going to take it again?

The BBC are notorious scoundrels in journalism. I only tune in for the scores, which to their credit are generally accurate. Don't try to follow foreign policy that way, tho.

It's not today or yesterday that Celtic fans have known not to believe or acknowledge anything in the MSSM . However some people still read and publicise it .

We get it from every angle including the muppets on radio and the Celtic haters on SLY who can never say anything slightly impartial or - God forbid complimentary to Celtic.
The club, manager and players should be well aware of this and use it as motivation and fuel their determination to succeed.

Did anyone else get a survey from Celtic today?
I completed it before the match and added a few comments indicating that it was a joke to send this out bragging that the club listens to the fans, when they clearly don't - I also added they NEED to buy players before its to late, anyway the thing is Mr Lawwell will never listen to us as he thinks he knows it all, sorry guys but getting more dissillusioned by the day.

Agree with comments regarding Griffiths not getting a start - hopefully we will be proved wrong but can not understand what the guy has to do.

Can not agree more DH88, this guy has been a shambles from day 1. He has had a few results in Scotland but other than that he has made us in to a laughing stock around Europe. He must go and take Collins along with him, I did have time for J Kennedy after what he went through but he clearly no master tactician either so it would be best for all if he joined the other two in moving on. NOTHING will improve with these guys at the helm.

How you can't blame him is even more ridiculous - he gave United the advantage, and as I said in previous posts his distribution is shocking.

I said the other day that with this sort of ban there would appear to be some sort of evidence, reading between the lines - I think Tonev has admitted to saying something - what? I don't know, but if it is any way racist he has to go - and I agree with ED0007 on his thoughts.

To give him a seven game ban would indicate they have some form of evidence that would indicate he is guilty so he has to go - end of!
For Celtic Football Club to appeal this indicates how out of touch the board are with the public support.
